Chapter 29: I'm sorry

"And so. I don't love her or do you want me to force myself on something I don't like?" asked Peter nonchalantly

"I didn't say that, I'm surprised she could fall in love with Jacob of all people. You know Anna is classic and proud girl. This is amazing!" replied Olivia softly

"Anna has changed, can't you see?" said Peter "She even studied for the exams isn't that amazing?" asked Peter and Olivia nodded her head in agreement with Peter  "I think Jacob is the best guy for her, he changed her to be a serious girl and now she's a cool girl now not arrogant girl unlike before!" said Peter admittedly

Yes it's true," replied Olivia

"Olivia! I could remember you guys always fought all the time back then. She used to bullied you back then and I was your saviour then!" chuckled Peter

"Yes and that was how we became friends. You always rushed from your seat to defend me then and I was really great ful Peter and am sorry that I didn't say it on time." said Olivia sincerely

"You're welcome. Am happy you finally appreciate my kind gesture." replied Peter smiling face

At the moment, Peter phone beeped and Annie message entered straight away. Olivia saw it and was shocked "Who's Annie?" asked Olivia

"A friend!" replied Peter abruptly

"Do I know her?" asked Olivia eyes narrowed at him, Peter was about to replied Olivia when one of the guys from the other departments interrupted their conversation

"Peter! The principal wants to see you!" said the first boy

"Okay, any problem?" asked Peter gently

"Not at all, it's about the upcoming party, you know you're the head prefect?" said the second boy grinning

"Oh let's go!" Peter turned to Olivia "I'll be right back Olly, You can go to the cafeteria, I would come and join you there later." said Peter softly and he went outside with the boys

"Okay!" Olivia replied and she turned to go outside too. She saw a strange number calling her line and she picked the call "Hello who's this?" asked Olivia quietly

"This is Cecelia, how're you doing Olivia?" replied Cecilia softly

Olivia was surprised that Cecilia called her line "I'm good and you?" said Olivia, eyes popping open

"I'm good too!" replied Cece

"How did you get my line?" asked Olivia, she wanted to know where Cecilia get her number from and what was the reason why she called her

"Never mind dear, I heard you and Fred are couple now. Is that true?" said Cecilia mischievously

"Yes, I guess. Fred had finally told you guys!" replied Olivia confidently

"I guess you've fallen to the wrong guy, did he tell you about the game?" asked Cecilia contemptuously

"What game?" Olivia was taken back

"I know he hasn't tell you yet." said Cece laughing hysterically

"Can you tell me what game please?" asked Olivia confused

"It was all a game, dear Olivia!" replied Cecilia scornfully

"What! I don't believe you Cecelia." said Olivia softly

"Okay if you say so. I've the video with me likewise Fred too, Ben also knew about it. You can ask him. Goodbye Olivia!" said Cecelia irritatedly and hung the phone on Olivia

"Really! What game? And Ben knew about it too." said Olivia inwardly and she couldn't go to the cafeteria for her lunchtime because she was heartbroken and she didn't know who to believe again.

Peter finally came back from the principal office and quickly went to the cafeteria thinking, Olivia will be there waiting for her. "Where's she, didn't she come out to eat, what's wrong?" Peter thought to himself and walked back to the classroom

At Mrs Smith's house, Olivia had gotten home from school, she was anxious and couldn't wait to ask, Fred and Ben. Olivia entered the sitting room, she didn't see anyone and she was getting impatient, luckily for her, Ben entered inside

"Hey Ben!" shouted Olivia happily

"Olivia you're back?" replied Ben softly

"Yes I'd like to ask you something Ben!" said Olivia gently

"What's that?" asked Ben

"And I want nothing but the truth." continued Olivia

"Okay what's it?" asked Ben

"I heard about a game, did you guy literally played any game over me?" asked Olivia anxiously

Ben was lost at the moment and was looking for the right word to say to Olivia, he didn't want to say anything that will made Olivia and Fred broke apart

"I guess she's right." said Olivia after some seconds, there was no response

"Who's right?" asked Ben

"Cecilia!" replied Olivia

"Olivia don't listen to her. Wait till Fred comes back and ask him yourself." said Ben gently

Olivia shaked her head sadly and Ben wasn't surprised Cecelia could utter the game out, he knew Cecelia was jealous about the relationship between his brother and Olivia

Ben knew his brother loved Olivia sincerely now unlike before they started the game "Why don't I explain the game to Olivia now. I know Olivia trust me. She knows I like her too and I can't lie to her. She won't believe Fred if Fred explain himself to her. I think I need to explain to her now." said Ben inwardly

"Olivia!" shouted Ben halfway

"What's that Ben?" Olivia turned back sideways to him and Ben beckoned to her sit with him

"Olivia I just need to tell you the truth. It was a game at first but now Fred confessed he loves you, he confessed to his friends likewise that revealed it's not a game any longer. I believe my brother truly love you Olivia!"  said Ben assuring her

"I need to know what the game was all about." replied Olivia not satisfied with Ben reassuring word.

"Okay you may ask Fred but I will like you not to bother about it." said Ben, softly

"Okay thanks Ben!" said Olivia and she went inside the room

Fred later came from school and Olivia went to meet him at the balcony

"Hi Fred." said Olivia gently

"Hi Olly, how was exams today?" asked Fred cheerfully

"It was good!" replied Olivia

"I trust my girl." said Fred smiled

Fred noticed she was quiet and that was unlike her

"Is anything wrong Olly?" asked Fred

"Nothing is wrong!" replied Olivia and she faked a smile "Can I have your phone please?" asked Olivia softly

"Okay here's it." Fred handed over the phone to Olivia, she checked all through and couldn't find the video  from the gallery. "What're you looking for?" asked Fred suspiciously, he noticed the way Olivia centered all her attention on the phone. Olivia didn't reply Fred and she finally found the video and played it.

"What's that?" Fred quickly snatched the phone from Olivia and he was embarrassed at his action

"What are you hiding Fred?" asked Olivia annoyed

"Nothing anyway." said Fred

"Really?" asked Olivia disheartened "I'm sorry i snatched the phone from you Olivia." replied Fred apologetic "I've being planning to tell you the video I mean the game!" Fred spilled the truth out accidentally and was lost at words.
