Luke sat in the study of the Holloway mansion, his gaze fixed on his son-in-law, Vincent Holloway. The man's cunning and cold demeanor still made Luke uneasy, despite their familial connection through Vincent's marriage to Luke's precious daughter, Elara.
"Remind me to never get on your bad side," Luke said, a hint of unease in his voice.
Vincent met Luke's gaze, his expression unreadable. "You are my wife's father, we can always sit down and discuss things," he replied, his tone measured and calm.
Luke couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "Not sure if I should be glad about that," he admitted, still not entirely accustomed to the fact that his 20-year-old daughter was married to the cunning and cold business genius, Vincent Holloway, who was a decade her senior.
