David slept a shallow, restless sleep. Falling asleep, he was no longer so afraid, but he also failed to get rid of his anxiety completely. Thanks to Gustav and Julius, he was increasingly convinced that he had not contracted anything from Greg, but until he checked this, until he was one hundred percent sure, uncertainty would not give him peace.
He actually regretted not going to town to buy and take the test right away. He would have swallowed the pride and had a quiet night instead. That would have been better, but now it was too late for that. Maybe there was a pharmacy open 24 hours a day somewhere, but the tests were already on their way and he would have them by noon.
It's only a few hours, he thought.
