Mimiko, I will miss
The time has come and a few days before the Hunt Games start, Keyoshi is sitting by the river at the back of Foresty Bar. Chana saw her and wondered why her friend is sitting alone by the waters that almost killed her when one of the Evil Queens brainwashed me to seduce and kill her after. Hmm…you scared?
Huh!? Aha Chana, it's you? Me, afraid? Afraid of what?, Keyoshi breathing heavily after smiling at me. Chan, you don't know what you're saying!
I know and I understand if you feel that way! We are warrior hunters who will venture into an adventure which we aren't sure if we will still come back and live to tell the tale from the games at Yomi Isle, I added and sat beside Shi placing my arm around her neck.
Chana! You really know me well, huh!, Shi sighed and rested her head on my shoulder. I know you and love you more than a sister. Yet, I understand that you are in love with Yuna, though I hate that girl from the very start I met her at the bar, still she is your girl and I respect how you feel about her. I love you and I will do anything to protect you and our tribe.
Thank you, Chana! But what if we don't come back and come out from the battle alive?, Shi asked fear is now seen on her eyes almost in tears. Then, we will fight until the end and even if we are faced with death, we will still fight up until our last breaths. I promise!
Promise! 'till death!, Shi said and hugged me then smiled confidently. Though I felt scared with our deal, I know that Yomi Island and the Games isn't going to be all fun and pleasure but we will make the most out of what we have, our friendship and love for each other and for the rest of the warrior hunters who pledged their lives for the salvation of souls in Yomi and the defeat of Evil. It is not only to win the Hunt Games is what pulls us to go further as giving off ourselves for others but that satisfaction, the victorious feeling to live and tell the tale of winning the battle over spirits/ monsters for future generations of Mimiko Island, Myriad Clan, along with all the tribes/clans participating in this year's games.
The spirits at Yomi Island started to fear the games, since it's about to start, many souls and 'humons' (half spirits and half monsters) wanted to flee the isle and live somewhere far from the cruelties of the warrior hunters. It is seldom than hunters show mercy to spirits and humons and for over decades, they never leave the island without killing the souls and or monsters, good or bad, decapitated and dead. Though they already are, dead, literally. One time Miyaki remembers three warrior hunters hunting in the middle part of Yomi, that they found an abandoned house which stood for 100 years. Older than sorcerer Taiyo himself, the spirits saw how mad and murderous humans were then and now. They hunted each spirit and humon everywhere and even shot one who is just staying peacefully inside the glass window of the house. One spirit also fell down the roof after being summoned to leave the house, and others were taken by warrior hunters by force and drawn to flee to never be seen from the island forever. But this island had been our home for centuries. Though we're fetched by the 'Light', we still didn't want to leave here. This has been our comfort zone, our haven and no one has the right to force us to leave, not even the warrior hunters or this Chosen One, Keyoshi.
The spirits and humons are arguing about how to stop and fight the warrior hunters. But Miyaki knew that there are some humans who are kind and merciful. Keyoshi, who is a popular warrior hunter is known to be nice and loving even to animals and monsters. So, she is the exception to their rules of "see human, kill human" policy. Cyril explained to everyone that they need to prepare and be ready when the warrior hunters come to destroy and annihilate them one by one.
Listen to me, all of you! You think that these hunters care, they don't. So neither are we, we should fight and uphold our right to live and stay in our home. And Yomi Island is our home, one spirit shouted. Yes, yessss, yeah!, majority of the spirits and humons yelled.
Guys!, few whit!, Miyaki whistled, we should be ready yes, but we should also remember that we are dead. The warrior hunters have been hunting wild animals along with dark spirits and monsters who kill and harm humans. I don't think they would literally kill harmless souls like us! So we need to be aware and beware of the real enemy and that is Kemolohlun and his demonoids.
Mimiko's sunset is like gold touching every tree, hut and person like my face. I feel strong and magical tonight that I don't want to leave my island. Yomi is not the usual island we hunt and battle on which makes it scary but exciting for adventures like this rarely comes. Thus, rarely goes since many hunters never came back after joining the Hunt games that happened at Yomi. Hmm….this feels so nice, right, Yuna?, I said while resting my back on top of a hill near Foresty where we will hold a meeting for warrior hunters with explanations on our rules of engagement and protocol traveling and staying in the isle for less than a month. The longest, warrior hunters will have stayed in a land without the organizers and our head or tribe heads/chief's help or saving grace.
I, Yuna and the rest of the warrior hunters including the Russian team that was almost disqualified for the games, practiced and developed our magic and senses to be able to defeat the dark spirits. First and foremost, to defeat Kemolohlun and his demonoids who are already lurking and growling in the center of the earth climbing up to the middle then to Yomi. Lost Souls and the Groupies came together to be aware of the coming games. Dark spirits and demonoids are now starting to land in the shores of Yomi to prepare for the battle against warrior hunters. Souls lingering in the island are now either hiding or getting ready to fight if they need to to protect themselves or their loves in the process since the Hunt games is very popular in all the lands including Yomi.
