It was finally lunch time and I was munching on my sandwich with Ashley. "Calm down Sie the sandwich is not going anywhere." Ashley said and I rolled my eyes.
"Do you even know how happy I am when I'm near food?" I asked her, taking a sip of water from my bottle.
"You're eating like an ape." She chuckled and I just ignored her, taking another bite from my sandwich.
I saw Logan walking towards us and took a seat next to Ashley. "So, what's up?" He asked
"Actually, nothing." I said, my mouth full and Logan pursed his lips, trying to suppress his laughter. I rolled my eyes and continued chewing.
"Ladies!" Someone said and I instantly realised who this voice belongs to.
"Ethan" Ashley smiled.
"Here he comes." Logan sighed and rolled his eyes.
Ethan McCoy was a blonde freshman, he had green eyes and his dimples showed up whenever he smiled. His habit was to stroll around and using pickup lines on senior girls for appreciation. He was literally the cutest thing I've seen.
After Michael. My conscience spoke up and I internally slapped myself.
Sometimes I hope Ethan always stays like this. He is fifteen and probably the sweetest thing ever, but I am worried that he'll change once he reaches seventeen or eighteen and starts using girls like tissue paper, probably the only thing most of the guys do in high school.
"Sierra, it's been a long time, where have you been honey?" He asked in a totally different accent and I chuckled.
"Wow, his habit hasn't gone yet." I stood up enveloping him into a tight hug.
"Yeah, I used to bare his nasty pickup lines when you weren't here." Ashley said, narrowing her eyes at him and I smacked her shoulder.
"This dude won't stop, his soul will be chanting pickup lines even after he dies." Logan said and Ashley and me burst out laughing.
"Forget about them young lady." He said, taking my hand and placing a kiss on my knuckles and I smiled at his sweetness. "I have a pickup line for you today, gorgeous."
"Go on handsome." I chuckled.
"If you were a pill I'd overdose." He said and I smiled so wide that my cheeks started hurting.
"Aww"
"Can I ask for a kiss in return?" He said and my expression was changed from a smile to a serious one. "I mean on my cheek."
I smiled again before leaning down and pressing my lips on his cheek. My eyes were closed as I kissed him on the cheek, but when I opened them he was on the ground and Michael was standing next to him, glaring at him intensely.
"Michael!" I yelled and bowed down, offering my hand to the fifteen year old. He placed his hand in mine and stood up, brushing his clothes.
Half of the students in the cafeteria were looking at me. Michael gripped my upper arm with so much force that it was sure to leave a mark and dragged me out of the cafeteria.
"What the hell were you trying to do there with him?" He snapped, clenching his jaw and I yanked his hand away from me.
"He is fifteen for Christ's sake, Michael!" I said, rubbing my upper arm which was now a bit bruised.
"So what? You were going to kiss me anyway!" He yelled again, pining me against the wall.
For the first time I was scared of him. I've never seen him this pissed.
"I wasn't making out with him, it was a kiss on the cheek." I said, breathing heavily as his body pressed against mine.
"Any reasons to offer him that fucking kiss or it was just unnecessary?" He asked and this time I pushed him hard as he stumbled backwards, but was able to regain his posture. I sighed, as least he wasn't pining me to the wall this time. " Answer me." He said, tilting my chin, looking a bit calm.
"Why do you care?!" I snapped.
"That's not the answer." He said, pulling me and I bumped into his rock hard chest.
"H-he just told me a pickup line." I stuttered looking into his eyes.
"Pickup line?" He furrowed his eyebrows. "So you'll kiss anyone who hits on you using a pickup line?"
"No! He is just a kid, I know him for a long time, he doesn't have any bad intentions and he wasn't hitting on me." I said, crossing my arms across my chest.
"Goddam Sierra, what if he turned his face while you were kissing his cheek and you end up kissing his l-lips." Michael said and rolled my eyes. I've been rolling my eyes so much that they might pop out of their sockets.
"But it didn't happened Michael, so chill and why do you even care? I am free to kiss whoever I want." I said and he pinned him against the wall before whispering in my ear.
"No you're not."
