Plans And The Eyrie

{The Eyrie, Robert POV}

As I was going up to the castle, I started thinking about how could I maximize my stay in Essos, both now and later with my army.

The problem is where can I find the most fighting but not get overwhelmed, I had a plan or a beginning of one, I would have to ask Braavos for a permission to build a small harbor between Braavos and Pentos west of the Andalos.

Then when the harbor is built I can bring my people to Essos, from their I will go east to south of the Andalos.

The reason I love the map of the system is that it gives me any thing I look for, just like when I was thinking of this plan I looked for precious metals, and it showed me where I can find it.

And that's how I plan to pay for all of this, there is a big enough veins of gold and silver close to the surface that if mined I will have more than 15 millions of gold dragons, and that is not the end goal, that's just the beginning.

When Pentos and Ghoyan Drohe hear about it they'll both raise a stink, Pentos can't act directly since it's not their land and I have permission from Braavos to go there, they will have to act in a subtle way, maybe they will hier Dothrakies or a sellsword company, I don't know how but I'm sure that they'll.

But the one I'm looking for is Ghoyan Drohe, it is a ruined city, but a city nonetheless and I need it.

I am planning to have the freefolk move there, and rebuild it, the freefolk number is between 200 thousands and 250 thousands, and that is everyone alive north of the Wall .

I need 20 thousands in the initial assult, they with the Thunderstorm will carry phase one, which is to secure the harbor and the mining site, maybe build a town near the mines.

And if I can get a steady stream of freefolks I can takeover Ghoyan Drohe and its surrounding territory .

Then the freefolks migration begins, but to move this many people take time and resources, humans need food, water and shelter, it will be a logistical nightmare, therefore I need the mines .

And that is my first plan, when the faith of the Seven hear about what I'm doing, they will send large number of people and I'm sure Tywin would live to get rid of the more extreme elements of the faith, I'm expecting a great crusade and I can use magic to drown the fuckers at sea.

If I whisper to some septons and have them to go in this holy endeavor, I can kill a large number of them, with that and my constant planting of weirwood trees and the death of the more devoted elements of the religion, I can weaken the faith to a new low .

As I was contemplating genocide we arrived as the castle gate, Jon Arryn was waiting for us, although he is a Lord of a great house and doesn't have to, but the man liked me and Ned like sons, along with Elbert his nephew and heir.

I jumped of my horse and hugged the second father that Robert had, I knew that those are the residual feelings still stuck with me from my old self.

{ General POV}

" Robert, by the Gods what have you been eating, you are almost a head taller than when you left" Jon Arryn said to his old ward, while thinking ' he has matured since the last time I saw him, his eyes are way older now than when he left, it must be having to take responsibility after watching his parents death' .

Robert gave his signature laugh, a laugh that can be heard for miles, " I missed you Jon, I missed the Eyrie and the freedom I used to have" , everyone chuckled at that, they all knew that Robert is a free spirit or irresponsible if you will. Him stuck doing his responsibility as a Lord was like sending a man to prison. Ned came next and shook Jon's hand " welcome back Eddard, how was your journey, did you keep him out of trouble " Jon asked Ned, he knew that the two of them were brothers in all but blood, and Ned is the only person that Robert will listen to when he is angry.

Ned smiled " I tried, but you know Robert, he has to cause chaos wherever he goes", Jon smiled to and invited everyone to the great hall for a meal.

After the meal Robert and Ned went to their old rooms, to wash up and put on clean clothes, they have to meet Jon in private to speak with him , Ned about going to his family and Robert about his campaign in Essos.

In a private solar the three of them sat and Jon was the first to speak " Robert, from what I heard about what you're doing in the Stormlands, I feel conflicted in one hand building a port city is a smart decision it will cost a bit in the beginning but if ruled correctly then you'll have a steady source of income and ot will make the Stormlands richer .

On the other hand going to Essos seems like a waste of time and money to me, so tell me everything "

Robert looked at Jon dead in the eyes, he became serious " the port is for the memory of my parents, and the Stormlands is poor region we have good sailors and good soldiers, and I have excepted my role as a Lord, but I want to travel and starting a sellsword company will give me time to travel and pay for the travels and send some home."

Jon turned his gaze to Ned, who spoke in Robert defense " he has a good plan, he already convinced prince Oberyn Martell to join him and I think that my brother will join him to when he hear about it, most of the second and third sons of the North will join him to."

Jon Arryn sat quietly but his mind was racing ' I can't have Elbert join them, Robert has two brothers should the worst happens, and the Eddard has a father, a brother and a sister if anything happens to him and his older brother but I can't let Elbert go but Denys( a distant cousin and next in line after Elbert) can go he is a knight and this could bring him some fame, if I let them recruit from the Vale then Denys' .

"When do you plan on going" Jon ask in a defeated voice, knowing that Robert will go no matter what he said to him and Ned will follow.

"A year after my parents anniversary, so sixteen months from now" Robert replied. Ned talked next " I want to visit my family, my father is expecting me, I plan on going with Robert to Braavos and take a ship from there to White Harbor and from White Harbor take a riverboat up the White Knife".

"Jon is it faster to go to Gulltown and take a ship from there, or can we go to Heart's Home or Strongsong and sail down the river and to Braavos".

Jon thought for a moment, the trip from Heart's Home is faster, but do they have a ship ready or not is the question. Gulltown always has ships coming and going to Braavos but the trip from the Eyrie to Gulltown is longer. " I will send a letters to Heart's Home and Strongsong to see if they have a ship ready, I will tell you in two days"

And with the business out of the way Robert and Ned told Jon about their adventure from the brotherhood to how Robert would spar with have of the Red Keep and have his guard betting on the matches to scam money from people .

{Robert POV}

A week came and went with us here in the Eyrie, in the end Heart's Home did have a ship but I will be paying for the entire trip, but that is okay with me.

The week I spent was fun, I did go on my own with hunting as an excuse and planted a couple of saplings and seeds, the ground here is so rocky that I had to use magic to make sure that they can grow. Other than that I did what Robert would do, drink, fight and fuck. And stocked my inventory.
