John's perspective - 7:23 AM

Currently, I can feel that I'm being dragged away by the Green Marines. They're about to escort my relatives and me out of the warzone to the hospital building, to rest. However... I cannot let them do that because the problem is still there. The disguising enemies are still among us!

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - When I was dragged away, I resisted and later managed to grab the M1911 pistol - which my wife accidentally dropped when the grenade exploded

"Get off me!!!". - I yelled loudly, managed to get up while pointing my pistol forward

"Sir, you're wounded!".

"Defense tower 6!".  "They can overrun it, do not let them!". - The Green Marines stepped away to let me pass, now I'm trying to track down those hired adventurers

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Get Sarah down the hospital, now!". - Hatano ordered the Marines to get Sarah down the hospital building, because her little sister is now had been shot in her shoulder

"Urrrghhh...!".  "John...". - So did my wife, she seems to be a bit headache while trying to hold me, not letting me go

"You go with 'em too, Shera!".

"No! No! No!".  "Do not! Get off me!".  "John!!!!!". - My wife and the wounded had been dragged down of the wall, but she kept yelling, asking me to let her stay

"Head to the tower!". - I yelled at those Spec Ops operatives. Hearing my order, they finally heard it and started heading to tower 6

"Kill 'em all!!!". - Hatano yelled from behind me

I glance behind to see what she's gonna do. Hatano spots a newly placed tall ladder on the wall, she kicks it but fails to make it fall. The hostiles are climbing on the ladder, some of their hands can be seen reaching the wall's top.

I'm about to aid her but Hatano grabs Kane's body, who's now only a corpse who lost limbs after the explosion. Kane's limbs are lying on the floor, battered to the bones and blood. Her blood keeps draining and mixes into Hatano's green leather armor and her Army uniform - which is behind the armor.

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - Hatano threw Kane below, it hit the ladder and the climbing hostiles, making the ladder fall

"Hatano, on me!". - After making sure Hatano's alright, I ran toward the tower

Just in a very short time, I've reached the 6th tower of the border gate which is now overrun by the Attenta hostiles. The WCA soldiers and Spec Ops Marines have to fall back and form their thick horizontal line to join the melee fight in cramped areas.

"Incoming!!!". - A Marine yelled when he was glancing at things outside of the wall

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!". - Turned out that was another wave of rain arrows. I managed to survive by grabbing a man soldier's back collar, later crouched and used him as a human shield, letting him die on behalf of me

Using the bad situation, the hostiles who occupied the tower are now trying to break our formation. The ones who stand on the top of the tower, are using their bows. While the ones below the tower, are forming their shields, standing close to each other and charging together at my troops.

"Out of the way!!!". - I ordered the soldiers and Marines to stay away

They stay away as I ordered them to do. The soldiers who stand behind me are now targeting the enemy archers by using their loaded crossbows. I must shoot!

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Clack! Clack!".  "Shit!". - I shot the enemies who were engaging the Marines and soldiers till my pistol ran out of ammo. Later I changed my sidearm to my M4A1 with an ACOG scope

"On the tower, right side!". - Advisor alerted me

"Bang...!".  "Hostile's down!". - Turned out an enemy archer was trying to kill me, but Hatano stopped him by using her M21 silenced sniper rifle

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - The WCA soldiers managed to shoot down the enemy archers. They were now reloading their crossbows after shooting, but it seemed to be taking a lot of time

"Commander, in front!". - Advisor yelled once again, I looked forward and spotted some enemy soldiers running toward me

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".

"Please, wait wait wait wait, don't kill m-". - This last one seemed to have realized the mighty power of firearms

"Bang!". - The last enemy has been eliminated

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - All of sudden, a Marine's head flew away after had been shredded from his neck, some projectile thing had caused this painful dead

"Someone! Head there!". - I stayed covered by the wall while ordering someone to head to the tower to liberate it

After I finished my words, Hatano runs alone to the tower with an M67 grenade in her hand. The dead Marine's now lying on the floor with his neck spurting out blood. Something outside of the border gate's field, must be a projectile weapon that caused that damage. Hmmm... Marines and soldiers also cowered by the wall after witnessing their buddy's tragic death.

"The enemy is now using ballistas to attack us, Sir!". - Cpl. Uvaki - the Commander of the Spec Ops squad informed me after peeking out of the wall

Alright, I got it now. The Attenta did not attack us by using their siege weapons in the beginning... must be waiting for the chance to get closer to us. Using that way, their heavy weapons will prove the best effective in combat at close range, I think.

"Corporal, I need you and your squad to head to the left side!".  "Three turrets, turn on one's "user mode" and tear out their siege weapons!".

"Turrets, Sir?". - Shit, I forgot! My military organization doesn't have the knowledge of modern firearms... only the old ones

"They are like muskets!".  "But can shoot constantly and are placed on the ground!".  "A small red button on its right side, press it and man the gun!".

"I don't get it much but I'll try, Sir!".  "Marines, on me!".  "Rison, lead the way!". - Corporal Uvaki later rushed to the turrets alongside his squad members

While sneaking behind the wall, I spot Hatano crouching and moving down the 6th tower. Meanwhile, WCA soldiers start rushing to that tower to defend it again. Waiting for the situation to settle down, I reload my pistol and change again my M4A1. Hmmm... wait a minute, why do the people who are sneaking alongside me look like...

"Hands up! Hands up now!". - They're hired adventurers, they hid here while disguising themselves as our allies, I knew it!

"Wait wait wait, what's wrong?".  "Wait wait, why?". - The members and the leader were bewildered when I pointed my rifle at them. The WCA gunners also pointed their muskets or bayonets at those people too when they saw me act as if they were hostiles

"I knew it already...".  "You people are the hostiles, dare to be our hostiles, huh!".

"Wait wait, what the fuck?".  "We're are just adventurers, big man".  "We were so scared so we ran away, that's it!".  "Please, please stop this misunderstanding!". - The members and the leader themselves were trying to deny, unforgivable!!!

"Wait wait wait, that's not what we dealt with you".  "We came to fight, not to head to the hostiles!".  "Calm down, they're still out there and w-".

"Shut the fuck off! All of you are enemies, surrender!!!".

"You're stabbing your own allies, stop it!".  "We were too scared so we ran!".  "Let us explain! Let us explain!".

"Surrender now!". - Hearing my constant yellings, the adventurers, some are cowering in fear, some are trying to deny their sin

"Let us explain! Let us explain at once!".  "Hey hey hey hey, calm down!  Calm down!". - They're all kneeling on the floor, some start dropping their weapons

"Last warning!!!".  "Surrender now!!!".

"John, behind you!".  "Step forward!". - Hearing Advisor's yell, I stepped forward one step and glanced behind to see what was happening

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!". - All of sudden, a giant round stone destroyed a side of the wall and crushed to death some WCA gunners

"They're using catapults!". - Some surviving soldiers managed to inform me

"You killers!!!".

"No!".  "Please do-".

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Before he could end his line, I shot the leader and other Adventurer members

"Bang! Bang!".  "Clack! Clack!". - All of sudden, my rifle ran out of ammo so I switched on another sidearm. The mage adventurer girl could be seen grabbing her magic staff in fear, as if trying to kill me

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Before she could do that, Hatano shot her from behind. Not yet, she also got shot by other WCA gunners

After the shooting, all adventurers died when their bodies are lying on the floor. Their blood keeps draining downstairs. As I finished eliminating those impostors, my eyes look at the field outside of Veta border gate.

"Rain arrows, stay low!". - Seeing dark things flying toward me, I ordered the soldiers while sneaking behind the wall

Luckily, no soldier on the wall was hurt during that big wave of rain arrows. Being cautious after the rain arrow wave, I move to the left side of the wall while my subordinate and soldiers follow me.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - In front of me, a unit had been wiped out when a giant stone hit the wall where they were sneaking in

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - Not yet, a soldier from behind also fell and died when a big arrow slammed on her helmet - it must've been caused by a ballista machine

"I'll return to snipe, Commander".  "Cover me". - Hatano whispered to me before going alone back to her sniping position

"John, I spot some hostiles below".  "They're trying to head here by using ladders or ropes, watch out". - Understood, Advisor!

Just a few seconds after Advisor's alert, I spot some hook ropes and tall ladders hitting the right side wall. Without having my order, the WCA gunners take out their bayonets. Later they approach the ladders and ropes to cut or kick them down below, not to let enemies climb on the wall.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - While kicking down a ladder, one more WCA soldier was killed by a ballista shot

I neglect their fates and rush back to the left side of the wall which is placing the Alrotz turrets. Coming there, Hatano can be seen lying on the floor to snipe the enemies.  About the turrets' fates... not good at all!

"Shoot!". - I heard a yell

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - Sounds of flying arrows could also be heard

I turn in that direction to glance at the yell. Turns out an FBA warrior archer unit is standing next to us. Their Commander had ordered his archers to shoot the below hostiles. It's good to know.

"Sir, we need help!".  "Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - A Marine called me, he was later shot to death by a ballista shot

"Get down! Get down now!". - A turret was hit. Before it fall to the floor, I ordered the Marines and soldiers standing nearby the turret to lie down

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!". - I lay on the floor right at the time that turret was shooting madly without control

"Ahhhh! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!".  "Ahhhhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhh!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Several WCA soldiers died after getting shot by that turret, their limbs bloodily flew away with their screams non-stop sounding

Shooting for a while, that turret stops its shooting process since it cannot shoot when it falls. Standing up while my body is full of blood and fleshes sticking on my clothes, I wipe my big sweat. Honestly... my sweat is now turning red after mixing with the blood in my hands.

"On your feet, everyone! We'll break them!". - I rushed to an Alrotz turret after encouraging the Marines and soldiers nearby

"Incoming!!!". - All of sudden, someone yelled

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - A catapult shot had landed a giant stone on another side of the wall, killing many good FBA warriors

"Rain arrows!!!". - I was turning on the "user mode" for the turret but someone yelled again. Knowing I was in danger, I got my hands off the turret and hid in the wall

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!".  "Fall back, fall back!!!".  "Sir, we'll die all if we stay here!!!". - Many WCA soldiers died after the rain arrow, the Marines and soldiers are retreating from the wall

"Come back here! Come back here!".  "Shit!".  "You good, Hatano?!". - Hatano managed to be fine despite getting through many incidents

On the other hand, I'm very battered when my armor and weapons have been dirtied in blood and dust, even my hands have some scratches.

"Nod!".  "Visual on a mage incoming... I'm tracking him down".

"Better not let him break the gate".

"Rog". - After seeing Hatano's nod, I risked myself and commanded the turret

When I'm about to use the turret, the wall side Hatano and I are staying can be seen as overrunning. Because, many hook ropes and ladders are targeting that wall side, the hostiles will come up here to kill both of us in no time.

"Commander, many ballistas on the right side, high ground of the field!!!". - Thanks for the assist, Advisor!

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!!". - Pointing the turret in that direction, I splashed the bullets out, spraying and grazing all around to eliminate the ballista machines

"Targets eliminated".  "Three more on the low ground, Commander!". - I immediately pointed my turret in that direction

While rotating the turret, I spotted many siege weapons standing quite far from the battlefield. Maybe Attenta enemy is thinking about bringing those weapons here when their situation is well secured. Or that's what I thought. Because... they sure don't want to lose those heavy weapons that wastefully.

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!".

"Targets eliminated!".  "Many catapults in the left side, low ground!".  "Shoot them all!". - Roger, Advisor!

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!".

"Targets eliminated".  "Two more below you".

"Shit!".  "Incoming rain arrows, Hatano!!!!". - Seeing the danger was about to come, I lay on the floor and cowered in the wall

"A siege machine is comin' here, Commander!".  "We need to move, this place is already overrun!". - All of sudden, Hatano lifted me up

After helping me to get up, she grabs the leftover Sarah's Alrotz military backpack and moves away. I head up and am bewildered when I find myself standing alone in this place. This is my dead end.

"Slam!!!!!!!!". - All of sudden, a siege machine from nowhere, slammed on the wall. The huge ladder shortly landed on the wall and soldiers started running out to overrun the place, I must stop them!

"Clack! Clack! Clack! Clack!". - I got in one turret but it didn't shoot, how?!!!

"It's overheated, Commander!".  "Watch out!". - An Attenta soldier who came out from the huge ladder suddenly charged at me

"Ahhh!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang!". - He slashed that turret, I dodged his sword and drew out my pistol, killing him

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!". - I roared while commanding another nearby turret. The enemies have climbed up here through tall ladders and hook ropes, they're attempting to get close to me

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!".  "Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!!". - The shooting was at a very close distance. My turret splashed out a rain bullet and shredded their bodies

My vision has been blurred completely since the flying blood blinded it. My ears are also ringing because the loud gunshots sound constantly. 

The enemies through my vision, are being shredded out like cheese. Their limbs can be seen flying around, blood is everywhere, cannot describe by using words, but by my eyes. Many of them died after taking gunshots. Some died yelling painfully, some didn't have that chance since their bodies were shredded out and died instantly from the start.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!". - I roared with my throat sore and seemed to be nearly broken while shooting the enemies

"Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!!!". - Dozens of them died while running back to the huge ladder as if trying to escape.

By the way, I also tried to destroy that siege machine by using the destruction of this Alrotz turret "M134 minigun hi-tech version". A bit successful, I thought so.

"Clack! Clack! Clack! Clack!". - When the enemies were running away, my turret suddenly overheated

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!".  "Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!". - I got away from my turret and used my M4A1 to kill 'em all

"Clack! Clack! Clack! Clack!". - Shit! I stepped back a few meters because the enemies were increasing when I lost my turret's control

"John!!!". - Someone called me, that voice... is very similar to Shera's, my wife's!

"Leave the place!".  "We'll retreat, we'll get out of here!". - She kept holding my sleeves, trying to pull me out of the wall to escape

"Go, Shera! Go!".

"Hear her, Commander!".  "All watchtowers must've been overrun too!".  "Just run!". - If I run, no one will protect my wife!

"Escape with her, Johnny!!!". 

"Don't get here!!!!". - All of sudden, I realized that my M1911 pistol had been snatched by my wife

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Clack! Clack! Clack!".  "Get here, John! With me!". - Shooting till the pistol ran out of ammo, my wife dropped it and held my hands, pulling me away from the enemies

"Wait wait... what?!!!".  "Jump, John! Jump!!!". - All of sudden, Shera hugged me and jumped down, to the ground

"Slam!!!!!". - A giant stone could be seen flying through us, it was supposed to have killed us, I think

"Crash!!!".  "Urrrrrgggghh!!!". - A big impact sounded when we landed on the ground

From my weak vision and my weak consciousness, Shera can be seen fainting after falling, I'm crushing on my wife's body. Both of us landed on the ground but she held me and made her body opposite to the ground or something... don't know what to say about it.

"Urrrrrgggghh...". - I tried to reach my hand to my wife, but failed when I felt everything was so blurred

14th Platoon - 26th Battalion

US Warsaw Corps Army

7:51 AM, December 16th, 1173

Veta - Warsaw Kingdom

After the wall side had been breached, we rushed downstairs till this time. The situation is now quite a chaos because my unit has lost many members, and the Lieutenant and I are running.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Suddenly, an enemy soldier fell to us from above. This came fell from the wall side, it's good that he died after falling while we were alright

"Tinov, over here!". - My Commander Lt. Serena, ordered me to rush to her

I rush to Lt. Serena, shortly see next to her are two corpses... no, two alive bodies. Gen. Rigen and his wife both fainted, they seem to have fallen from the wall side too, I think. He is pressing on Her Highness's body.

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!". - All of sudden, the entrance of the border gate exploded

"Gate has been breached!".  "Bring 'em to the hospital, I'll cover you, Private!". - Lt. Serena ordered me while crouching, heading her crossbow forward

"Yes Sir!!!". - Hearing her order, I put my strapped crossbow to the right side belt, shortly grabbed Gen. Rigen's body

"Urrrrrgggghh! Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Fuck!!!!". - The General was too heavy, couldn't drag him so I picked Her Highness to drag instead

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!". - When I was carrying Her Highness on my back, gunshots from behind could be heard

I turn my head behind, later realize that a bunch of WCA and WS gunners is forming a dense horizontal line behind me. Dense white smoke keeps popping out of the muskets' barrels after shooting.

"Second line, move up!".

"We need some help here!!!". - I yelled at those gunners, asking for help but it seemed to be pointless

"I'll move with you!". - Lieutenant Serena finally accepted to go with me, she picked up the General and carried him on her back

"On me, Tinov!". - She led the way, while I followed her

"Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup!". - While following my Commander to the hospital building, many things that looked like arrows could be seen sticking on the ground, I even heard flying object sounds

"Keep your head down and keep moving!".  "They've overrun the towers and the wall by now!". - I understood, the wall and the towers have been breached, the enemies are using them against us

"Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup!".  "Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup!". - We ran and changed our directions many times to avoid these rain arrows from above, I managed to survive!

"There! There it is!". - The Lieutenant screamed in happiness, I followed her

After a short run, we finally reached the military hospital building. However, the building itself and the ones around it have been torn apart by many giant stones. Terrible... the wounded are being carried out of these buildings. What a terrible scene I've ever watched!

"Get out!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Another building beside us had been shot by a catapult, the giant stone hit the building and crushed to death many soldiers inside

"Move here, Tinov!". - Hearing my Commander's yell, I held Her Highness on my back tightly and ran straight to her

When I rush to the Lieutenant, in front of me see the evac carriages and a cart. Gen. Sarah can be seen sitting inside one carriage. Her shoulder which is wounded by an arrow shot, had now been bandaged with many white cloths. Now the cloths turned red because of stopping the bleeding.

"Urrrrrgggghh!!!". - Despite staying in the safe zone, Gen. Sarah still moaning because of the bad wound

Gen. Hatano can be seen standing nearby the big metal cart alongside the SOHH operatives. Those operatives have just finished putting a big green crate on the cart.

"Get 'em over here". - Lieutenant Serena approached a carriage, shortly put General on it

Seeing her action, I also rush to that carriage and gently put Her Highness beside her wounded husband. After putting them in the evac carriages, I return to think about what I should do next for the battle.

"Rison, set up these charges around the perimeter!". - All of sudden, Gen. Hatano yelled

I turn behind and see Rison is still alive, I'm glad. However, I see him grabbing a thrown brown bag from Gen. Hatano, later nods to her and runs straight to the warzone.

"Marines, follow me".  "Set up those charges".  "Defend the line, you soldiers cannot retreat, understand?!!!". - She also gave another Marine a small brown bag taken from her private green backpack

After ordering our WCA soldiers and the Spec Ops Marines, our General silently gets in a carriage that has Gen. Sarah sitting on it. During the process, many other Marines can be seen sitting on that carriage as if to be her bodyguards.

"Corporal, you and your men take care of the ammo crate".

"Yes, Sir". - Hearing her order, Commander Uvaki and other SOHH operatives started lifting the cart, as if to move it alongside the evac carriages

"Where are you going, Sir?". - Bewildered at what is happening, Lt. Serena questioned our General

"Retreat... to the castle".

"Then we sh-".

"All of you stay behind to die for us".  "Those are the honest words I can describe to ya...". 

"Without retreating, all of us will die, General!!!".

"Protect the border to last breath, do not against my words".  "I'll inform y'all when to retreat... everything is overrun, keep it under control before I return".

"But Sir! We need t-".

"Bang!". - A gunshot came out from the carriage's window, killing my Lieutenant instantly, Hatano did it

"...".  "Who are the members of her unit?".

"Uhhh...". - I stayed silent to keep myself alive, somehow she pointed her gun at me

"Uhhh...".  "That's me, Sir... others have gone missing".

"You take her place... stay here and protect the fortress at all costs".  "I'll return to tell you when to retreat later".

"Nod!".

"...".  "Let's move, Marines". - After threatening us for a while, Gen. Hatano ordered the evac carriages and the metal cart to move back to the castle for safety

The wheels start rolling on the road, later vanished from our sight and heading out of the current warzone. Returning from the hospital building, I keep my eyes away from the Lieutenant's corpse, while the abandoned Marines and soldiers are very bewildered.

"Fall back! Fall back!!!!!". - Returning to look at the gate side, WCA and WS gunners are retreating closer to us as if to have a better range of shooting

Looking at them closely, I see their muskets all have bayonets mounted on their barrels to melee. Meanwhile, Rison can be seen running around the field nearby the gate, doing something odd.

"Rison, what are you doing?!!!". - Worried about him, I ran toward him despite the preparation for the next wave of rain bullets from our gunners

"Everyone, get down!!!!!!!!!". - The Commander of those gunner units ordered us to get on the ground to avoid being shot by the muskets

"Rison, get down!!!!!". - I yelled at Rison while jumping on the ground, shortly tried to crawl toward him

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Many gunshots had been fired, I lowered my head while crawling toward Rison

"They keep comin', shit!".  "Y'all get here immediately, come!".  "Third line, move up!".  "Archers, watch the wall and the watchtowers!!!!". - Some spearmen units and gunner units have grouped to be a large team, good!

"Rison, what the hell are you doing?!!!".  "Get back here!". - Reaching Rison, I grabbed his collar, trying to pull him away from the gate for safety

"Give me a second, Tina!".  "Nearly finishing it!".

"Kiss!!!". - Seeing he didn't hear my order, I kissed him to make him obey me

"Shit!!!".  "Nearly done!". - However, he pushed me away and kept placing those metal yellow and green things on the ground, around the area

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!". - All of sudden, a big explosion came out

I look up that the exploded direction, later spot a watchtower that has been broken apart unreasonably. Fortunately, the fallen stone parts of the watchtower didn't hit us. That's our luck.

"Ted is doing well!". - While putting those things on the ground, Rison strangely said in happiness

"What?!!!".

"C4s!!!". - He was saying something odd, but I neglected its strangeness

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!". - Another watchtower behind us had exploded, it was heavily destroyed

"Stay down!!!!". - The members of the gunner units yelled at us

"Stay low, Rison!!!!". - Ignoring he was setting up things, I held him and jumped to the ground to avoid gunshots

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!". - When those gunshots were firing, I spotted many hostiles falling while charging at us

At this rate, we'll die all because the enemies are too close to us. Especially when they breached the gate, their distance from us is nearby more than ever, it's not good!

All of sudden. While lying on the ground with Rison, I spot a hooded man walking toward us from afar, from the gate side. He slowly points a wooden staff which has a blue sharp piece at us for no reason... is he a mage?!!!

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Spurt!". - I headed up and drew out my loaded crossbow, shot him

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Ahhhh!!! Ahhh!!! Ahhhh!!!!". - His wooden staff diverted to the right side, something sparkled out in a blink of an eye, later was an explosion

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Ahhh!!! Ahhhh!!! Ahhhh!!!!". - Those constant yellings came from the archers defending on the right side, they're dying with their bloody lost limbs and in crying yells

It's good that we didn't join 'em. Otherwise, we could have...

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!". - Another watchtower suddenly exploded, but its falling parts didn't reach us

I return to look at Rison, later see him still putting those metal things on the ground. However, he suddenly gets up and carries the handbag on his shoulder tightly, later runs toward me.

"Charges have been set!!!".  "Fall back! Fall back!!!". - Rison ran straight to me, he grabbed me and both of us ran back to the gunners

"Get down!!!!!". - They yelled, once again we lay on the ground to avoid gunshots

Taking advantage, we head up and run back to the gunners to have their protection. Rison after setting up those strange things, he opens the handbag and takes out a metal yellow object.

"Everyone, on the ground!".  "We're gonna gift 'em many fireworks! Get down!". - Rison lay on the ground while holding that small objects

The WCA and WS gunners, even the FBA warrior archers and other WCA soldiers bewildered at Rison's order. However, he has the power in his words since he's a person from Special Forces, we obey him. By that, all of us lie on the ground while figuring out what he's gonna do.

"What are you gonna do?!!!". - Many soldiers asked Rison

"Ted, where are you?!!!".

"I'm here, Rison". - Behind us, a Marine came out and crawled till he kept up with us

"Done the C4s?". - Rison asked him with his seriousness

"Yeah, quite exhausted".

"What you were saying about?". - I asked them

"Our General ordered us to set up these things to defend the lines".  "She taught us a little bit, but seems like we're struggling to learn it".  "Well, it's not a problem anymore". - Rison answered me

"Sir, enemy spotted!". - The gunners reported to Rison, some of them got up and pointed their muskets to the gate as if to ready to shoot

"Ease, soldiers".  "Let 'em pass us, we'll them apart later". - Rison later raised the yellow object highly for no reason

"You got that detonator?". - Again, he asked Ted

"Yah". - Ted also lifted up a metal thing as same as Rison's, it's named "detonator", isn't it?

"What are they used for?". - Seeing the soldiers and gunners lying on the ground despite the incoming enemies, I asked Rison to know his true purpose for letting them pass

"These detonators?".

"Nod!".

"To blow the C4s".

"C4s?".

"Like this". - Ted suddenly pressed the black thing which looks like a button on the left side of the detonator's body

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!". - A watchtower suddenly exploded

"Blow 'em up, Ted!".

"Press! Press! Press! Press! Press! Press! Press! Press!". - Ted pulled out another detonator and pressed both things in his hands constantly

"Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm!".  "Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm!".  "Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm!". - All of sudden, all watchtowers have blown up, the enemies who were targeting us on the wall also died with their bodies and limbs falling here

"Woohoo!!!".  "Hell yeah!!!". - They cheered, some soldiers and gunners also cheered

"Targets eliminated, Rison".

"Alright, let's see what can my detonator do". - Rison raised his detonator highly

"C4s again?". - I asked him

"No".  "Mine are Claymores, C4s are over there, must wait till they have their turn".

"Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm!". - Every time they charged at us at a certain distance, the ground would explode and shake them away

"Blow 'em up, Rison!!!".

"Press! Press! Press! Press!".

"Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm!". - Just in a blink of an eye, the ground is now just a place full of battered dead bodies and broken things

"What a terrible destruction". - Where did those things come from? How the hell could our Commanders have these powerful magic weapons?

"It's over, we have to move".  "Retreat, people!".

"Wait, Rison, hear me a bit". - I grabbed his collar, asking him to hear something

"Our Mama ordered us to stay here to defend, no retreat".  "She said she would return to help us to retreat".

"What the fuck?!!!". - Rison and his comrade Ted seemed to be shocked and bewildered, they looked around while all of us behaved normally

"Fucking ignore her order!".  "All of us will withdraw".  "Let's move, on me!". - Rison told us to retreat

"Enemy spotted!". - As soon as we got up, enemy horsemen could be seen charging at us from the gate

"In position!". - The gunners immediately formed their formation, pointing their muskets at the incoming hostile cavalrymen

"Shoot!!!".

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!". - Many gunshots had been fired, dozens of horsemen and their horses died alongside them

"Retreat! Retreat! Retreat!". - After shooting the enemies, WCA soldiers and gunners, even the allied soldiers ran away to go back to the castle

"What are you doing, Rison?". - Instead of running, Rison ran forward, later going around, placing round metal things on the ground

"You go, Tina!".  "I'm gonna stay here with Ted to place some mines, fill be done fast!". - Rison replied while rushing, he placed a mine on the ground, later placed others, trying to do it fast

"You take it from here, I'll take the further". - Done saying to Rison, Ted ran farther and started placing the mines

While waiting for the Marines to place mines on the ground, I accidentally spot incoming enemies. They're all cavalrymen, slowly heading inside while behind them are spearmen and archers.

"Incoming enemies, Rison!". - I informed Rison of the dangerous situation while pulling out my crossbow

Shit! I forgot that it hasn't been loaded yet. Because of that, I lower my crossbow and press my leg on its stirrup. Later use all of my force to pull the string back to the bolt clip despite my exhaustion. Finishing that process, I open my bolt pack and take out a bolt, placing it on the crossbow's bolt clip. Done the reloading.

After reloading, I point my crossbow to the gate side, purposing to shoot down one enemy. However, they seem to be scared of us after facing those Claymores and C4s, they hesitated to come up.

"They're comin', Rison!".

Hearing my words, Rison and Ted slowly step back while placing the mines carefully before retreating. I also fall back a bit while targeting enemies by using my crossbow, making sure Rison will be safe when I'm with him, side by side protecting.

Placing the mines for a while, they step back till they get farther. Rison and Ted seem like don't realize that I'm standing before them, protecting them while they're placing mines on the ground.

"Done!".  "Run, everyone!". - Ted seemed to have finished placing mines, he ran first

"Alright". - After placing the mines, Rison instead of looking forward, he looked behind for some reason

"Tina?!!!".  "Where are you?!". - I'm behind you, dumbass!

"She must've got away...".  "Wait for me, Tina! I'm coming for you!". - Seeing me nowhere, he ran away to find me, how cute...

Finally, Rison is running to the retreat route, he'll be safe. Looking at Rison running from afar with his thoughts of finding me, I find it very funny to speak to him. Well... I see that the enemy horsemen start heading here right now. I must run now.

Running till I keep up with Rison, later tap his back to surprise him may be a good idea, hmmm...

"Well, here we go". - So, I started running

Running to keep up with Rison, I think about forcing him to carry me because I'm quite exhausted. This time he has run quite far, will be safe.

While running to keep up with Rison, I peek behind to see the enemy horsemen. They're still very far, I'll be safe on the run despite my exhaustion, I believe it. Alright, after returning to Rison, I'll force him to carry me back to the castle, hehe.

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!". - All of sudden, my leg stepped on something while on the run, a big explosion occurred after that

"Urrrrrgggghh...!". - Waking up after getting through the explosion, I feel that my legs are burning harshly

"Ahhhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhh!". - Turn out my legs have been lost, my legs are lying on the ground bloodily, my fleshes are lying around, how did this tragedy happen?!!!

"Ahhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhhh!". - That pain is too bad, I cannot take it so I scream

"Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm! Booooooommmmmmmm!". - Shortly, many horses and soldiers exploded, their fleshes and limbs flew around after hitting the things called "mines"

All of sudden, my face has been pressed on by something heavy that seems like a dead horse's body. Trying to do something to get myself out, but I failed to do it tragically.

Now I'm exhausted, even have problems with breathing. My consciousness slowly blurred, I start being blind when I cannot see anything but all black. My breath cannot reach anything, that horse is... crushing me, to death...
