Private Rison's perspective

5th Platoon - 12th Battalion

US Green Marine Corps - Special Forces Head Hunters unit

1:25 AM - December 14, 1173

Kurkan - No Man Zone

According to our mission objective: We're sent here in order to aid the Elven Army and Jager Army to contain the incoming Attenta navy forces. Our Head Hunters unit used to be under the command of Lieutenant General Shizuka Hatano. But now is under the command of General John Rigen after our ex-general was detained with the accused of against her Commander.

Maybe I should not talk much about these things. Now we're scouting around the river named White on the east side of No Man Zone, the place where the Jager and Elven Army are garrisoning in order to defend the forest area. Purposing to scout, to search for any Attenta's presence in this river, or at least on the ground like a camp. However, everything seems to be pointless 'cause we've been sailing on the river through many stream lines, but found nothing suspicious yet.

But our Platoon Commander - Lieutenant Platto hasn't given up yet, especially when he hasn't seen any progress on this search. From what I can remember, our Platoon had received the messages from No Man Zone, intel wrote by Gen. Rigen himself. After receiving the mission through that letter, we gathered our members and sailed around the river till this time. Till this late time.

This time if I remember right, will be the 1st-morning bell. The sky is still very dark, very hard to see, but we're trained to see in the dark for a long time, this is nothing to us. Because of the difficulty of the mission, Lt. Platto had ordered our platoon to divide into 4 groups, moving to different directions of the White River. My group's heading to the southeast of the river, hoping to find the enemy navy's presence.

Sitting on the top of the sampan (a navy transport of the Beastmen Army), I ready my bow and arrows, scouting the scenery ahead. While on my back, 9 more Platoon members of the Head Hunters unit are fiercely on guard, as well as our Lieutenant Platto. Pvt. Mellari who is a recruited elven Marine, is now on the bottom of the sampan. He's escorting us, using the paddle to move this wooden boat to its destination in order to do the mission.

Moving on this side of the river while the things surrounding us are just silence. I slowly keep myself quiet, trying to hear the noise and use my vision to spot the suspicious things ahead. Moving on the sampan while looking down at the water's surface, it mirrors me perfectly. This river according to the intel, will be the place where the Attenta navy force inbound their warships.

Honestly, such a pity to see this beautiful river to be filled with the blood of the enemies. But I should remove my emotions while doing this mission, do what I'm told to do, that's all. Sailing on the river for a minute later, the road ahead seems to be a little suspicious. At first, I didn't notice. But now, I spot away from my team less than 150 meters, there's a kind of small boat floating on the water.

Two men who wear like soldiers can be seen chatting while sitting on that mini boat. They haven't noticed our existence yet, and our appearance is still a bit far from theirs, I must find out.

"Got movement on the river".  "Cannot sure if they're enemies or not".  "150 meters, Sir...".

"Whatever they are, our allies are not moving like this...".  "Let's drop 'em, Pvt. Rison". - Suddenly Lt. Platto decided to join me to take out the enemies, I was surprised to know he'd do that himself

"Stop our movement, boys".  "Take point, Rison... take the one on the left side". - Done saying, the Lieutenant dumps himself on the river before I can react to him

"Later, guys". - I say goodbye to the SOHH operators and then dive myself into the river

Diving into the river, I pull out my dagger which's specially made for the Special Forces in order to eliminate the enemy swiftly. It's called a KA-BAR or something, mine has a green handle and saw lines on its spine, in order to... cut things. This time is late, the river's very cold when we go under it, our vision is as not precise as we wanted it to be. However, fighting back that coldness, we dive and move forward.

I can a bit of light which is appearing on the top of the enemy's mini-boat. It comes from a torch they placed on the boat, they shouldn't do that from the start, I think so. Approaching the mini boat, Lt. Platto moves his head up to peek. Knowing the enemy is still chatting without any guard, my Commander dives once again. This time, he's readied his own dagger.

Moving till we're below the mini boat, Lieutenant slowly moves up with his hand holding the dagger tightly and fiercely. I also move up with him, readying to eliminate the enemies without letting any tracks to let them detect us. Getting up to the surface of the river, the enemy keeps chatting as usual. Lt. Platto leans his hand to one's collar, almost grabbing it if keeps moving instead of stopping.

"Hey... Red". - He whispered to that enemy man to warn him, by the way "Red" is a short word we use to call an Attenta hostile

"Ahhh!". - Before the man can scream completely, Lieutenant pulls him down the river, now giving him the enteral sleep

I also pull out another enemy down the river. This man is quite scared when he is confused about what's happening to him. Before he can do anything, I use the dagger's saw lines spine to cut his neck off, swiftly doing that without any hesitation in killing him. After killing the man, I realize that I almost cut his head off since the cut on his neck was very deep. But finally, I let his body off, letting it flow up the river while the blood from his neck is spilling out non-stop.

I swim on the river surface and see Lt. Platto dragging the man's body he killed earlier to the shore. I also follow my Lieutenant, shortly after we head to the shore, I step up and look back to see my team. Meanwhile, our Commander is examining the man's dead body, in order to make sure he was an enemy. Without having the order, the sampan moves on its own, toward us.

"Sampan 1, regroup". - The Lieutenant ordered the sampan to deploy the Marines down, seems like we're going to land on this site

Observing the Commander's work, later I see him pull out a cloth insignia. The red dagger in the middle, with a red circle that covers the dagger icon... they were the Attenta soldiers, we've gone to the right path, I think so. Later he looks at me and the other operators, I nod, go tell him we're ready to engage the hostiles. Seeing our nods, the Lieutenant also nods and then crouches, looking at the forest scenery forward to him.

"Mellari, guard the sampan".  "Hustur, chop their heads off".  "Rison, take point". - He ordered Pvt. Hustur to chop the enemy's heads, Mellari to guard the sampan and I to lead the team

I say nothing but pull out my strapped longbow and 5 arrows from my opened pack of 30 arrows. Holding 4 other arrows by using the exposed parts of my fingers while using one to shoot. This kind of technique improves the speed of shooting the bow.

At first, our Special Forces did not be trained to use the bow this way. I didn't know why, maybe Gen. Rigen's homeland didn't have this kind of technique although it was strange when a nation's military doesn't have it. Instead, we had to learn from the Great Warsaw Army and our allied Armies to use this shooting technique.

Pulling out my bow and arrows, I move up ahead while 7 other operators follow me from behind. The two others have been left behind to guard the sampan and chop the dead men's heads, in order to use them to scare the enemies. That's why we're called the Head Hunters. Moving on to the forest by using my silent steps, I look around, trying to find suspicious things on my way. However, just saw nothing... maybe I should go further in order to find the enemy forces.

I move up a little further while my lads follow behind me, later I spot a kind of light. Seeing something heading toward us, I raise my right hand, pointing to each corner on the road to tell everyone to go there to hide. Finished alerting them, I also take cover behind a tree, slowly peek out. According to my vision, a light looks like a torch is heading toward us from afar, 30 meters to be the least, I think.

Later, two dark figures appear before me, one is holding the torch, seems to be soldiers as well. However, the trees' leaves and their heights have already covered the lit of the moon, cannot describe well. Yet, today's moon is not as bright as we expected it to be, a bit disadvantageous. Despite facing difficulties in this mission, we're very tough, not willing to give up the mission.

Slowly getting my eyes out of the enemy's position, I turn back to inform my buddies. They're now like me, hiding behind the trees or lying on the grass for cover, also to hide our existence. Unlike most military uniforms of the continent, ours are colored in green, featured like the jungle, in order to camouflage, to be... invisible.

"Two tangoes ahead, 30 meters". - I informed the SOHH operators about the enemy's number forwarded to them, later Lieutenant steps up as if to join me

"You take one on the right".  "Me on the left, got it?".

"Roger...".  "Nod". - Nodded to my Commander, I draw my bow and arrows out, slowly place it on the string, ready to fire when I am ready

I heard that the elves are excellent archers, no one can stand against their natural skillful marksmanship. Our Commander Platto is also an elf recruited to this Spec Ops unit, well. I wonder how skillfully is his natural marksmanship, to me, I suck at it, to be honest.

"Ey, what're we doing here, man?".  "Just come here first and wait for our nest?". - All of sudden, the enemies who are moving toward us chatted with each other

"Yeah, I think so too...".  "Who knows? Ask the boat guys, they're out there, not so far". - I peek out to look at 'em, later realize the enemies have stopped moving and start chatting

"But I'm lazy to do it, man".  "Always, always us to do the night shift".  "Smash!". - Chatting for a while, one of them picks up a rock and throws up a tree, making its leaves fall apart

"How long until our ships come, man?".  "They're heading here, right? But how long?".

"Just... maybe this morning, you guess".  "We'll head to that Kingdom by using this way, but must scout around this place first".  "To make sure it's safe, this zone is kind of uhh... demilitarised".  "If those jungle mobs know we're here, we'll be dead for sure". - Saying to his comrade, later he crouches down and starts picking up fallen leaves

"Jungle mobs?". - That soldier slowly crouches down, curiously asking his friend

"The elves".

"Those don't age monsters?".

"They do age but much slower!".  "Sigh... I want to grab one, their girls look good".

"Sure, we will".

"Ready, 3... 2...". - I am a bit startled when Lt. Platto draws out his bow without informing me, I later expose outside, attempting to shoot the Attenta soldiers

"1... drop them".

"Spurt! Spurt!".

"They look like thi-".  "What th-, urrghhhh!". - Those two men hit the arrows on their heads since those parts are lethal, they fall to the ground

"How sloppy you are, Rison".  "Practice more... move up...". - Lt. Platto critics my bad reaction, later I go up to lead the team's way

Moving toward the dead enemies, we crouch down to examine them. I can see my arrow hit one's armor chest, while the arrow of Lieutenant hit the head of the enemy, through the exposed part of his face's protector plate. Being impressed with his skill, I gaze at the Lieutenant proudly. Meanwhile, he and another operator is using the daggers to stab the enemy's throats and skulls, in order to make sure they're real dead.

"We don't have time to waste".  "Take point, Pvt. Rison". - I can see the Lieutenant is pissed off when I was losing my concentration on the mission

I later sigh and return to lead the team as a scouter. Shortly I hear noises from behind, being surrounded by my doubt, I swiftly look back. Turned out that was Pvt. Hustur, he returned here after he chopped the enemy's heads. His hand's now still holding that bloody head, its blood is draining down the drops every time this Private approaches us to regroup.

"It's ok to drop it now, Hustur".  "Chop this one". - Lt. Platto ordered Hustur to chop the new enemy's heads, he only nods and starts doing the job... satisfyingly

One SOHH operator pulls out the two used arrows, later he gives one to me, one to the Lieutenant. We'll reuse these arrows, in order to... extend the damage to the enemies. Seeing my group's been done regrouped, I move on once again. After a short time moving through the forest, we finally see something in the deep of this forest's side.

I move up slowly while looking around at the scenery which is surrounding us. The thing we're seeing ahead seems to be a small camp, but it doesn't seem to be a camp at all, I think. Since it doesn't have any tents set in the area, I only see the bonfires and objects like yellow mats placed on the ground.

"Move". - I was intending to go forward but the Lieutenant urged me, as if my movement was very slow

I nod to my Commander and shortly walk inside the place which looks like an enemy camp in Kurkan forest. Moving into the place, nearby us to the right side are the soldiers who seem to be sleeping. They're now lying on the yellow mats, cannot tell if they've slept dept or not. Moving further, later out Spec Ops operators stop nearby those sleeping enemy soldiers. This area seems to be a bit wide for me. According to what I saw, crates and boxes are seen on the left side of the area, which must've been transferred to the place by using this river way.

"Everyone...".  "Keep silent, ready to hear the intel...". - Lieutenant asked us to concentrate, he was about to inform us something

"Seems like we've missed something".  "If we don't solve those things, we may step in shit... worse than death...". - Done saying, he points to me and Pvt. Ferd

"You two, take care of this area alone". - Later he points to other members of the team

"You two, move around the place".  "See if you can find any enemies left before returning to help these lads".  "You two take care of the left side, do not noise".  "All we need is the intel, be gentle with the objects, not enemies".

"I and others will return to the riverside".  "We must've missed the enemies, we can be compromised at any time". - Alright, now he noticed there was only a mini enemy boat on the river, must've had more, so we've missed a lot of enemies to rip them

"After solving the problem here, wait right here".  "Seeing me not coming, y'all have to work on your own, got it...?".

"Roger".  "Rog".  "Roger that".  "Nod".  "Nod...".  "...". - Our Spec Ops members made different acts to sign that we understood the Lieutenant's order

"Did I ever tell you guys to speak in the time we need to keep silent..?".  "Nod!". - He whispered to us, later nodded, telling us just do that way

"Nod!".

"Good...".  "Hustur, on me". - How the fuck this guy is the only one who has the right to talk when all of us have to keep silent?

Hearing his order, Pvt. Hustur and two other SOHH operators follow Lt. Platto to return to the riverside. They'll track down the remaining enemy boats, maybe will also regroup with other teams, asking them to gather here. Meanwhile, the other Spec Ops Marine newly formed groups have left the two of us to solve their objectives.

Staying alongside Pvt. Ferd, I nod to him, later the two of us move closer to the sleeping enemies. Without saying a word, Ferd's already prepared his dagger, as if to tell me to cut their throats when they're still in their deep dreams. Knowing his attention, I nod. Both of us shortly move to two different enemies, crouching. We raise our daggers, thinking about killing them very swiftly.

"Ummmmm! Ummmm!". - This man is sleeping, but suddenly his mouth's covered

"Stabs!!!".  "Ummm! Ummm! Ummmm...".  "Slashes...". - I ran my dagger to his throat forcefully, the man resisted weakly, later died 'cause blood loss

After killing the enemy, I leave him there. Later I return to look at Ferd, seeing he is cutting the man's neck after killing him. However, he only cuts till the man's head is about to be out of his neck. Done killing, Ferd puts his dagger back into his holster, later pulls out his longbow and arrows. This dude, must've gotten used to killing for a long time, his face doesn't show any emotions after killing the enemy.

"I take the lead, you follow...". - Ferd said he would be the lead one, I only need to follow

He doesn't leave me to have a second to nod or to do anything, just like that and goes instantly. I only know to follow him, we shortly move to the wooden crates' position, they seem to be carrying weapons and rations, huh?

"Cover me...". - Instead of moving forward, Ferd stopped by the crates and started searching for things inside them

I crouch and move look behind while drawing my longbow and arrows to cover Ferd, the enemy can show up at any time, I think. However, everything is very silent till now, no enemy movement or anything suspicious is found. Later someone tapped my back, turned out that was my buddy Ferd. He shakes his head and later moves, without letting me know if I should keep covering him or not.

"You son of the asshole...".

I move behind Ferd for a while till we meet at a place that seems to have a very stinky smell. Someone just urinated here, I think so. Searching around, later we find out it belongs to a side of stones and grass on the ground. The tracks of the yellow pee of someone, must be a soldier... this dude's urine scent was annoying as fuck.

"Whistles... whistles...".  "Ahhhhhh... alright, next go". - All of sudden, we heard a voice sound on the right side

Keeping calm, Ferd silently moves away since when while I find myself near the area where the enemy is about to come in. Looking to find the corner, maybe a tree or anything to hide in there. Unfortunately, I found nothing for me to stay covered, to hide. As a result, I lie on the ground, right exactly the place where used to have someone pee on it, gross!

While lying on the ground, I pretend to neglect that strong urine odor, just trying to find the incoming enemy. After a few seconds, he's come, with his pants down for no reason. This man is in front of me. However, he doesn't seem to know my existence here at all, but seems like is about to pee at me as well. He must have not recognized my dyed green leather armor, must have thought it was "fresh" grass.

I think about eliminating this guy, but my movement will surely be spotted since I cannot move freely while lying on the ground. Hopelessly, I prepare my bow and arrows, attempting to shoot the guy before he can pee on me. Come one, huh!

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Cuts... cuts... cuts... cuts... cuts...". - Ferd from nowhere came out, he slammed the man's head on the ground, later cut his throat, now's still cutting

Not until the guy's head is about to be cut off, Ferd stops and prepares his bow and arrows as usual. He doesn't care about me but keeps moving, making me get up alone instead of helping me. Anyway, I neglect his previous actions and follow him, thinking about killing more enemies. Our current objectives are to clear this area and collect the intel, we must finish it fast and send the message to Veta Headquarters. Later we'll return to Krieg Base and rest there till we have more missions to be done, and be handled to us to solve them.

"I intended to let that guy pee on you before finishing him".  "But you're too sloppy, not worth doing it".  "Now stay close...". - This guy, wants to pick up a fight or something?

We later stay close to each other and move further to the enemy camp. Shortly after a short time searching around, we finally found a tent in the middle of the forest. To look at the tent, it seems to be newly set up, must have the high-ranked enemies inside, must be their Commander.

Instead of moving silently as usual, both of us increase our speed and shortly reach the tent and away from it about 20 meters. No one of us has come in yet, part that we're still observing around to make sure around us doesn't have any enemy patrolling. Observing the tent and the area around it for a while, we spot a blue-cloaked man walking out. He came out from the tent, must be a high-ranked soldier or at least must be a kind of leader.

His hand's holding a thing that looks like a long spear. However, its tip only has a small blue thing that looks like a crystal... a magic stone?

According to the intel our Special Forces members used to hear about: The mages tend to be armed with a long staff or a magic stick, alongside a cloak to hide their identity. Because the mage unit is the most dangerous army unit, their identities and abilities must be hidden at all costs.

"Spurt!". - All of sudden, before I could do anything, an arrow was shot in the mage's head, he later lay on the ground with his fallen stick

I wasn't surprised at all, Ferd did this. He later goes to the dead body, overturns it by using his leg, later he crouches down and pulls out his dagger, as he always does. I also follow Ferd and then crouch nearby him, gazing at the way he's cutting the dead man's throat. My buddy seems very loving to cut heads, I think.

"Check the tent, move...". - Later he ordered me to check on the tent

"Nod".

I nod to Ferd and slowly approach the tent with my raised bow and arrows. Stepping close to the tent, behind its curtain entrance, I think about the scenario if has enemies inside this green tent. After a short time deciding, I move in swiftly, later spot an enemy man.

This man seems to be very shocked when he sees me coming in. He's wearing a metal armor, instead of leather ones like the soldiers we killed outside of the tent. Needless to say, this man's absolutely the enemy camp's General. He's shocked to see me, is now trying to grab a dagger on a mini table from the right side since his body doesn't bring any weapons.

"Spurt!".  "Urrrrrgggghh!". - I shot the man's chest, but he was still alive, only wounded, I decided to approach him swiftly and pulled out my dagger

"Urrrrrgggghh! Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Arrrrghh...".  "Urrrrrgggghh!". - However, he keeps resisting, making me cannot stab him easily since he's struggling to stop my stab

"Stabs!!!".  "Urrrrrgggghh...". - I later stabbed the man's throat, he slowly slipped on the ground, slowly died

"Stabs!". - I stabbed him again to make sure he truly died

Later I put my dagger in the holster and return to look around the tent. Looking around the place, I open every cabinet and later find a map that seems to be about this No Man Zone's southeast side, we're on the right path. Not yet, I also find some letters inside the cabinet, from a drawer. Those letters have already been written, they said the area is cleared and readied to deploy the navy forces, the warships.

Holding the letters while walking around the tent, later I spot two birds who are now caged in wooden cages. These birds must be used to send war letters, they're scared of me when they see me or something. One of the birds also steps back when I approach her too close.

"Found anything...?". - Ferd came in when I was concentrating on looking at the caged birds

He swiftly snatches the letters in my hands without asking me for them. Just like that, he gazes at the letters for a long time before heading outside of the tent for no reason. Instead of following Ferd, I stay in the tent while gazing at the birds. To me, these birds may be useful to be used to send the enemies the fake letters, to tell them to head into the trap we set up.

"What the f-". - Ferd suddenly tapped my back

Later he pulls me out of the tent for no reason. Instead of letting me stay, he leads me outside and walks with me toward the other SOHH operators who seem to have finished their objectives. Shortly, we come before the military operators. Ferd leaves me there and approaches those lads, showing them the letters while talking to 'em with his non-verbal way of communication.

After a short time "talking" to each other, those SOHH operators and I walk away from the place. They seem to be intending to return to the camp's entrance, in order to wait for the return of our Lieutenant to regroup again. Returning to the entranceway, we stand there and wait for the remaining teams of our platoon. While standing to guard, I see my lads are now dragging the dead bodies of the enemy soldiers out, intending to do something.

Turned out those guys are bloodthirsty, they drag those poor men out to cut their heads off. Our military unit tradition is quite psychotic, isn't it?

"Like Commander like soldiers".  "Fuck that shit". - Standing at the entrance to wait for my team, I think like I'm an outcast among these Head Hunters

Unlike them, I wasn't the 1st generation recruited. To be more details, the 1st generation means to tell about the military personnel who were recruited by Lieutenant General Shizuka Hatano in the first days of founding the military branches. At that time, the military basic training was significantly different from the current one - which is composed by General John Rigen, our Commander.

According to what I heard from a co-personnel of mine - Private Latinov if I remember her name well. In the former military basic training, soldiers had to practice with corpses daily. From the morning, the noon, the afternoon the night, every day would be the day we see corpses and corpses.

Those corpses belonged to the corpses of the enemies or random mobs who hadn't been burned. We'd strap those corpses to the pillar, stab them, swear at them, yell at them, do "stuff" with them and etc. What a sick way to train the peasants into killing and emotionless creatures, just like her.

After thinking about those bad recalls, I stop and point my eyes at the road ahead. Shortly I spot dark figures moving toward the entrance or something, they seem to be many of them.

"Reds, Reds, guys...". - I warned the Spec Ops Marines, they stopped cutting the heads and later joined me

We immediately sneak behind the trees or lie on the grass while pointing out bows and arrows toward those strange dark figures. Drawing our bows' strings for a while, now I'm thinking about shooting 'em, finishing them with only one strike of rain arrows.

"More heads to bring in, don't just stay there!". - The figure who was leading those figures yelled at us, later they appeared to be the Head Hunter operators

Our platoon seems to have fully regrouped. Those SOHH operators walk inside the cleared enemy camp with their weapons pointing above, means to tell us to ceasefire. Observing the lines of Marines moving inside the camp, I manage to spot some members holding the enemy heads. Those heads... must have been taken from the enemies that we missed to eliminate on the river, I think.

"Sir". - Our members greeted the Lieutenant when he walks in

"Alright, put our decorations over there".  "Will use 'em later, now chop more". - After walking in, he ordered the Marines to put the heads on the right side of the ground, also asked us to chop more heads of the uncut enemies

Every SOHH operator either put or throw the Attenta enemy's heads on that side till their heads have stashed up because of having too much. Done throwing the heads, some of them go to drag more enemies to this area, intending to chop more of their heads. I try to neglect those bloody and horrible scenes by observing our Commander - Lt. Platto.

"Sir...". - As I thought from the start, Ferd approached Lt. Platto and gave him the letters he found

Somehow... he also gave our Commander the map... but I didn't see him take the map.

Receiving the intel from Ferd, Lt. Platto nods to him and opens the map and glances at the letters at the same time. He keeps looking at those things for a while and then lowers them, being silent as if to think. Meanwhile, the chopping sounds behind me are getting louder and louder than ever, I turn back to look at the beheaded dead bodies.

Turned out those Marines were not just cutting the enemy's heads, some of them were also cutting their limbs for no reason.

"Oh fuck...". - I returned to look at our Commander while closing my eyes, trying to forget what I had seen

Their leather armors were covered in blood, their hands and their feet were also covered in blood. They dropped the heads all around with blood on the ground, while chopping the bones of the bodies to take out their limbs to "decorate" as well.

To be honest, this Special Forces unit is full of sick and crazy traditions. Maybe I'll withdraw from this unit and head to Swift Predators, or remain a WCA soldier.

After closing my eyes for a while, I open them again and see someone below me. That's a man who doesn't look like a man, he's quite short and also has black hides all over his body, they cover his skin. His hands have brown claws, and his brown military armor seems to be made of cloth. Somehow I see his right forearm has a tattoo of a line of sharp teeth of some kind of sea animal. Somehow below me has a hole that's fit for him to stay in there.

"What the?!". - I was a bit startled at first, later I draw out my bow and targeted the guy, attempting to shoot him

"Wait, that's our ally". - Lt. Platto ordered me not to shoot that strange man, not just me but some other members of the Spec Ops also targeted him as well

We later lower our weapons and the Lieutenant approaches the strange man. He slowly crouches and the strange soldier gives him a small piece of paper that looks like a letter, our Commander receives it. In return, he also gives that soldier the map and shows him the letters that we found earlier.

"Tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku".  "Tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku tuku".  (We found these things).  (Tell the Aquaman unit and the nearest battalion to come here, over).  (We'll ambush 'em here, right in the morning... got it?). - What the hell our Lieutenant was saying?! Was that some kind of language?!

"Understood, Lieutenant".  "Mole 4 out". - That strange soldier only nodded to Lt. Platto and then returned to the tunnel that he dug, somehow he used our language to talk

After the strange soldier's gone away, Lieutenant Platto stands up and glances at all of our Marines. He later stands still, straightens up for some reason, maybe to inform us.

"Listen up, Marines!".

Hearing his voice, all of us, even the ones who are chopping the dead enemies also gather to hear our Commander's speech. Some of us stand near each other, while others just simply stand disciplined without lining up.

"The enemy navy will come here this morning".  "The elves and the Beastmen will aid us to hit their warships".  "No time for us to rest, decorate this place till it's scary enough". - Speaking to us for a while, he glanced at the chopped heads and limbs, later looked at us again

"We don't have much time so let's get to it... must be finished before dawn". - After speaking to us, Lieutenant approached a corpse while pulling out his short sword, all of us later joined him to "prepare and decorate" for the incoming ambush in the White River
