STRANGE DREAM

CHAPTER 22… STRANGE DREAM

"I am not blind," a woman responded and came to stand before Selena. She was dressed in a nurse's scrub.

Her face, Selena could see clearly. The woman had red hair that complimented her lips that had been painted red. At the side of her left eye, there was mole.

The man who had been silent since they came in finally spoke.

"What are we going to do?" He asked, obviously confused. "She is not supposed to be awake until everything is done."

"Where is she?" Selena mumbled weakly from the bed where she was lying down. She stretched out a hand to reach for the doctor's collar. "Where is my baby?"

The nurse pulled out a syringe that had been filled with a yellow substance and injected it into her arm.

Before Selena lost consciousness, she heard the woman mumble something to the male doctor.

"We have sixty minutes to remove the ones we do not need. Let's get working."
