Chapter Sixty Nine ..I'm hungrier than you are

After Jakes and Suzzy drove off in the customized Mansory Vivere Bugatti Veyron ,Nadine and her friends caught hold of their breath for a while and heaved a sigh of relief .

"Oh no ,you know what ? I've had enough drama for the day and my chauffeur is here already ,good bye ! "Doreen said and without hesitating ,she sat in the car and it quickly goes off .

After a while ,the chauffers of Nadine and Debbie arrived too and their cars sped off as well from the campus .

"Sorry for what happened earlier and please don't misunderstand me ."Suzzy told Jakes a bit shy of what happened earlier .

"Don't worry ,I knew you were acting to scare off those girls who hid behind the pillars .

Come to think of it princess ,you are smart ."Jakes complimented Suzzy as they drove off on the highway asphalt road .

"I didn't intend to do that ,they got on my nerves .They treated me rudely for no reason and so I couldn't overlook that ,I had to scare them a little .

Sorry for dragging you into this mess ,it won't happen again however I won't allow anyone to bully me again."Suzzy said to Jakes before turning her gaze to enjoy the fresh air from the window .

"Why did you ask me not to take any actions against those bullies, huh ? They would have gotten their tip of messing with you .If you had allowed me to do things my way then ,those lowlife bullies wouldn't have embarrassed you in anyway .

They would have been walking on the streets and Loyola Marymount University wouldn't have welcomed them again .

Damn it ! "Jakes hit his hands furiously against the steering wheel .

"This is why I told you not to take any action .I knew you'd make a big deal out of it ."Suzzy said and grabbed a bottle of water from her bag to drink .

"Ha! so you want me to keep quiet about it right ? Alright princess , you've got it .I will keep quiet about it and do as per you wish Princess .Hope we are good now sweetheart ? "Jakes teased Suzzy and tugged her hair behind her ears nicely .

"After all this ,I will do what I think is right for you .I won't allow you to suffer in the hands of any lowlife bullies ,they will have to know their places ."Jakes thought and drove off but Suzzy broke the silence between them with a growl from her stomach .

"Don't worry , it's really nothing ."Suzzy said shyly and threw her eyes to the window .

Again her stomach growled and this time louder . She couldn't say anything to defend herself .

"You didn't eat right ? "Jakes questioned Suzzy .

Suzzy still looked through the window because she knew she stood the point of getting scolded at any time .Because of the incident at the cafeteria ,Suzzy barely touched her food and now she was feeling very hungry and her growling stomach was bearing a witness to that .

"Don't worry ,I will head right to the restaurant right away .I will get us both some food to eat and besides I'm more hungrier than you are ."Jakes said and continued driving .

"Did he have to eat too ? "Suzzy whispered to herself .

"I heard it sweetheart .."Jakes teased and after a few minutes ,the black customized Mansory Vivere Bugatti Veyron arrived right in front of Craft Los Angeles .

Jakes stepped out of the car and got the door for Suzzy giving her a helping hand once she stepped out of the car too .

When they made their entry to the restaurant ,all the waiters and waitresses lined up horizontally on opposite sides and created a path for Jakes and Suzzy to walk on .

"Welcome Chairman Riddles ! .. welcome Miss Riddles !"They chorused .Jakes and Suzzy moved to the VIP lounge to have their meal .The place was well furnished with luxurious furnishing materials.

After they had their seat behind the well furnished and decorated dining table ,the waitresses who were dressed in red checkered skirts with a white shirt and complimented it with a bowtie aligned different delicacies on the dining table .

"Alright ,eat up ."Jakes said and took a bite of the shrimp dumplings however Suzzy who was complaining of extreme hunger kept shoving away from the food .

"Why ? what now ? these are the best meals you can get so start eating ."Jakes said and took another bite of the shrimp dumplings .

"I know but it's just that shrimps make me nauseous .I'm allergic to shrimps ,each time I smell them ,I feel nauseous and each time I eat them ,I develop quick rash and I get sick ."Suzzy told Jakes who was a bit shocked .

"What ! why didn't you tell me earlier ? "Jakes quickly called the waitresses and they rushed inside .

"Chairman Riddles ,is something wrong ? Don't you like the food ? This is what you always want to eat each time you come here so what's wrong today ? "One of the waitresses asked biting her lower lips slightly .

"Take all the foods away from the table ,do it now ! "He ordered and they complied .

"There was no need to make them take all the foods away , it's only shrimps I'm allergic to and not all those mouth watery meals ."Suzzy said to Jakes who had the waitresses clear the entire dining table .

"Oh ,so those meals made your mouth watery ,is it ? Anyways , it's no problem ,your buddy will take care of that too ."Jakes said and picked up his phone but stopped in the process .

"You know ? why don't we do this ,umm! we will choose the meal of your choice and trust me ,whatever you choose ,I'd gladly eat it too .

As you can see I'm not allergic to anything though , except for one thing and that is your scolding ."Jakes teased Suzzy with raised brows .

Suzzy picked up the menu and was shocked to see the prices of the meals .A glass of juice costs about $50 and her favorite Empanada Argentine steak which was made with chicken , spinach and beef costs about $95 for a slice .
