Chapter Seventy two ..big boss buddy

"Okay here are about twenty balloons .I also have about twenty balloons in my hands too .

There's no hydrogen pump to pump them up so you gotta use your mouth to blow the balloons and tie them like they've been done here .

If you can blow more than ten balloons in two minutes ,you win a teddy bear .The rules of the game are very simple buddy ! "Suzzy told Jakes who was already tensed up since he had never done such a thing before .

"Hey Mr .Man ,can we start the game now ? "Suzzy asked the balloon salesman and he nodded .He set the time to two minutes for Jakes to blow up the balloons and start the game .

"Alright buddy ,you ready ? "Suzzy asked Jakes who had his hands on his waist .

"Alright ! start now ,blow up ten balloons in ten minutes and win the teddy bear for me ."Suzzy urged Jakes .

"How do we blow it ,I can't do it sweety "Jakes groaned not knowing how to blow the balloon as he was already running out of breath .

"It's not like that .You gotta blow them like this ..."Suzzy demonstrated to Jakes and he followed her demonstration however Jakes couldn't best the time .As at two minutes ,he could only blow and tie up three balloons .

"Oh damn! you couldn't even win a teddy bear for me .

Buddy ! "Suzzy's spirit went down .Seeing Suzzy's facial expression ,Jakes gave a few dollars to the balloon salesman and took the teddy bear for Suzzy .

"Thanks buddy ! I love you so much .Mmuah ! "Suzzy kissed his cheeks .

Jakes didn't expect to hear that so soon but he was so pleased .After having some fun at the town square the duo decided to go home .

"Buddy ,let me drive ."Suzzy grabbed the car keys from Jakes .

"It would be my pleasure to have you drive me today .."Jakes hopped into the passengers seat .

"Oh buddy ! please put on your seatbelt and enjoy my special drive .

Your official driver Monalisa Susana Jenkins Riddles has gotten yah covered "Suzzy flattered herself behind the steering wheel .

"I got to know how to drive when I was just fifteen years .Mummy sent me to a driving school on weekends .After the six months course ,I was given a driving license .

The truth is the first time I drove mummy's Toyota Corolla given to her at work ,I ended up crashing it into a fruit store ."Suzzy shared her story on driving with Jakes .

"Really ? "Jakes asked , amused waiting to hear what happened next .

"Yeah buddy ,I crashed an entire fruit store with her car and plus I damaged the car too .

The only thing that saved me was the fact that I had my seatbelt on other than that ,I wouldn't have been alive today ."Suzzy explained the issue further .

"So what did mummy do then ? "Curious Jakes who was enjoying the story asked .

"I guess your guess is as good as mine ."Suzzy said with raised brows .

"If you'd ask me ,I think she scolded you because she used to do the same to me whenever I did something wrong .

She'd pull my ears at times like a little boy and call me stubborn ..hehe! "Jakes also shared some past past of he and Eloise .

"You are right buddy ,she scolded me but all the same ,she paid for all the damages though . She's so sweet when angry .."Suzzy complimented her mother .

"I agree with you a hundred percent princess ,she looks so sweet when angry ."Jakes laid more emphasis on complimenting Eloise .

The car came to a halt in front of the Riddles Mansion .

"Dad ,stop smiling already ,we are home . Don't miss mummy too much buddy ."Suzzy teased Jakes as he seemed lost in his own thoughts after complimenting Eloise .

"Wh..what did you say ? "Jakes asked passing his hands through his hair .

"Dad ,we are home !"Suzzy emphasized .

"In fact ,sit down and let me get the door for you .

Since I'm your driver ,I need to give you a good treatment so that next time you won't refuse my drive ."Suzzy gladly stepped out of the car and got the door for her father .

Jakes stepped out of the car with his magnificent looks and smiled at Suzzy who blinked her eyelashes a few times to him .

"Thanks princess ,I won't ever refuse your drive but always remember to drive carefully alright ? "Jakes laid his hands across Suzzy's shoulders and pulled her into his embrace .

"Alright buddy ,I will always drive carefully and the pleasure is all mine big boss buddy for enjoying my ride ."Suzzy hit her fists against Jakes' .

"Anyways princess , I've got something for you ."Jakes said .

"For me ? Is it a surprise ? Alright big boss buddy ,give it to me now because unlike my mummy I don't like surprises at all .

Anyways ,I will close my eyes for this special surprise "Suzzy closed her eyes and stretched forth her hands .

Jakes then placed a pendant in her hands .

"I wanted to give you this , princess . It's something which already belongs to you .

When you first met with an accident with my car ,it fell down . In fact this is the major reason for which I found out that you are my daughter .

This pendant was with your mum the very first day I saw her on the shores of the beach of Long Beach so seeing it on you ,I knew there was certainly a connection between us both . "Jakes said .

"Really ? but oh my God ! I thought it was missing .My mummy gave this to me and I thought I had lost it .

Thanks so much ,you don't know what this means to me ,thank you so much daddy ."Suzzy threw herself into Jakes' embrace .

"Have you bothered opening it for once before ? "Jakes asked , picking up the pendant from Suzzy's palm .

"No ,I haven't thought about it before .But since you've drown my attention to it ,I guess you should open it up ."Suzzy suggested .
