Chapter Seventy Eight ..good family

"Ever since then ,I have taken care of my daughters and of course ,your dad really helped me alot .He was really supportive ,after Renata finished her secretariat degree ,he hired her at Riddles Cooperation and gave her a very good salary .

Erich is also in college now because your dad is actually the one paying her tuition fees on a scholarship based program he offered to her ."Ben talked to Suzzy about his daughters .

"Wait ! so you mean to say that Erich and aunty Renata are your daughters , right ? "Suzzy asked , laying more emphasis.

"Yes ,they are my daughters ,the reason for which I toil so hard ."Ben answered Suzzy's questions proudly as a father .

"I never knew ,I mean I knew Erich and aunty Renata were sisters but it never crossed my mind that they could be your daughters .

If your daughters are all grown up then why are you still driving ? you should go on retire so that your children will spend quality time with you ."Suzzy suggested but Ben smiled .

"My dear ,I'm already on retire .The truth is even while at home ,you dad still sent me my monthly salary but then ,home is so boring since Renata is already married with a kid and Erich is so busy with school .

That's why ,I decided to be your driver ,that way I could even exercise my body and stay active .

Also ,by driving you ,I feel that it's a way of thanking your family for what they have done for me .

One last reason for driving you is that ,you are really fun to chat with .God bless you my child ."Ben said and got out to get the door for Suzzy .

"If you are on retire then henceforth ,I will call you uncle Ben so uncle Ben ,I enjoyed your conversation alot .Thank you for the safe ride .."Suzzy shook his hands and moved towards the library while Ben drives off"

Oh geez ! these girls aren't here yet .Let me just call them up ."Suzzy picks up her phone and calls Josette but she hears "hello" behind her .

"Good morning Mona ,our cab got spoilt on the way and the main reason for our late arrival ."Josette said and Sonya nodded .

"No worries girls ,anyways ,I just arrived too and the good thing is that I brought breakfast for all of us .

By the way ,do you guys stay in the same community ? "Suzzy asked and settled the food on the table and grabbed a seat for herself .

"Yeah , our houses are directly opposite to each other . It's not a mansion furnished luxuriously like yours but a simple bungalow with simple furnishings ."Sonya said .

"Also ,we attended high school together and also undertook a scholarship admission exams for which we both passed and had the chance to study in Loyola Marymount University .

Other than that you know semi middle class people like us can't afford to pay such expensive tuition fees and its related utilities "Josette added .

"Oh come on girls ,I don't care about your statuses in society .All i care about is your good hearts and I'm glad to have friends like you ."Suzzy rubbed her thumbs on their hands while picking it in hers with a smile .

"Is that so ? this calls for a selfie then .."Sonya pulled out her phone and they all took a selfie together .

"You know what ,I will just post this with caption MSJ SQUAD ."Sonya said .

"MSJ SQUAD ? Sonya , where's that from ? "Josette asked .

"Oh my gosh Josette ! it's our initials ; Monalisa , Sonya and Josette ,all together makes the MSJ SQUAD .I thought about this name all night okay ?"Sonya said .

"Well ,what can I say ? I think it's great and so I think you should tag us and also share the post to us so that we can post it on our individual platforms ."Suzzy suggested .

"That's great Mona ,that way we will beat the MONT DRAGONS ."Sonya said referring to Erica and her squad .

After chitchatting and having their breakfast ,they studied for a while and headed to the lecture hall for their lectures .This time around ,when they entered into the lecture hall,the aura was different since everyone seemed to be indirectly adorning her with some respect .

Erica and her friends looked elsewhere and not in their direction .

Suzzy and her friends headed to their usual spot of sitting and ignored the tension in the lecture hall .

Once Professor Hanson entered the hall ,the tension rose higher as he surprised them with a thesis .After half an hour ,the thesis was over .

The students giggled among themselves about the possible answers of the thesis .

"Mona ? do you think we will perform well in this thesis ? "Sonya asked feeling tensed .

"Sonya , don't tell me that you wrote nonsense because Mona taught us everything this morning .

As for me ,I know I wrote nothing but the correct answers to the thesis .What about you Mona ? "Josette asked .

"I believe we will all perform well because I believe in us all ."Suzzy simply said .

Erica and her squad were also humming on a few things .

"Before you guys think of saying anything ,you shouldn't underestimate Mona because the fact that we locked her as well as her friends in the library doesn't mean that she wouldn't perform well in the thesis ."Debbie said but before her friends could say something ,the lecture hall was silent once Professor Hanson entered into the hall .

"After seeing the results of your thesis ,I can proudly announce to you your individual performances .

Erica Montgomery ,Nadine Quin ,Doreen Stewart and Deborah Jones ,rise to your feet ."Professor Hanson said .

"You all throw pressure for nothing ,here we are topping everyone ."Erica said proudly to her friends .

"I mentioned these names not because they topped my thesis but because their presentation of my thesis were very poor !

This shows how naive and dumb you girls are .You present such a shabby work to me and you expect to get your full score ,is it ? ."Profession Hanson threw the scripts on the table .
