Chapter Nineteen..I cannot be dumped by a man
"When I kept my head on my grandfather's lap and mourned your father's death ,you were with another woman forgetting about me !
I refused to eat or drink because I wanted to equally share your pain but you were busy having fun with another lady !
When I called and messaged you a million times in a day ,you were seeking comfort from another woman's bed !
When I almost went crazy and decided to come look for you ,you were busy creating a paradise in Australia with another woman !

How long Eloise ?!"Eloise couldn't keep her tears any longer as she rested her head on the sofa and cried bitterly. Out there ,Meredith arrived in front of Cooperatives of Jewelry Designs in her white luxurious Ferrari F60 America Vehicle .
She wore a purple dress with black long heel which matched the colour of her purse perfectly .
Taking off her shades ,she swung her upsweep brown hair aside and walked majestically into the firm .The workers muttered among themselves about who she was . Once she took the elevator to the Chairman's chamber ,they presumed she might be the Chairman's fiancee .
She got into Jakes' Chamber and walked pass Renata whose desk was besides Jakes' .
Using the swipe card to his office , Renata gently sat down .For it's only those that Jakes considers important that have his swipe card to his office ."Hi sweetheart ! Did you miss me already ? "Meredith asked ,with her dulcet voice and moved towards Jakes ."Jakes ,first of all I told mother-in-law to tell you that I will be arriving today but you didn't pick me up at the airport so I decided to come by here .
I know what you will say ,"I was busy " but no problem because I know my would-be-husband is so much of a workaholic !
Oh geez Jakes ! Get real here .You don't answer my calls lately and you give me blue ticks unexpectedly .When I entered you showed me no trace of happiness on your face ,why do I feel as if you are pushing yourself away from me ?
Jakes ,by evening mother-in-law will announce our engagement at my homecoming party so please get your mind ready for the task at hand .Very soon I will be your wife and I want you to have time for me .
You know Meredith Grey doesn't like to wait ." While they talked in the office ,Eloise listened to their conversation in the lounge ."Mer ,are you just deaf or you are pretending to be deaf ?
I thought we talked about this six months ago but why did you still call mum up and told her to fix our engagement date ,huh ? " Jakes bitterly asked her .
"Shh ..! Sweetheart ,I know it's all because you are stressed out with business .I also know that it's because you missed me by your side and that's why you said all those harsh words to me six months ago .

"Meredith said with her croaky flirty voice as she went behind Jakes and began caressing his neck ."Meredith ,let go off me ..!"Jakes pushed her aside ."You are so selfish Meredith .You wanted to go out there and chase your dreams .You wanted the entire world to recognize and bow to you Meredith but what about me Meredith ?
Did you think about me for once? No Meredith , and do you know why ? I will answer that for you , it's because you care only about yourself and your dreams !
What did you think ? That you will choose your dreams and leave our relationship hanging and I will keep on loving you ?

"Baby ,that was in the past .I accept that I made a mistake because of my ambitions but that will never happen again .

"Well ,I'm sorry Mer but my life is also with someone else .
Someone that I abandoned because I'm a jerk and a fool !
Yes Mer ,you left our relationship hanging for six months .No texts messages and no calls .During all those moments ,I got to realize that what I felt for you wasn't actually love but lust !
During those times ,i got to realize that I had made the biggest mistake of my life by trying to forget my past .I tried to run away from my past but it kept on chasing after me .Mer ,I love someone else now and that's why I told you that we have broken up this relationship six months ago .
Isn't this what you wanted too ? You have finally gotten it and you can now live your dreams all round the world .
Mer , I don't love you anymore hence there will no engagement !"Jakes finally told Meredith the truth and released the burden off his shoulders but Meredith didn't seem to like it so she slapped Jakes across the face ."Mer ,even a thousand slaps will not change my mind about us !"Jakes added and received one more slap from Meredith .
"Jakes ,I don't care about who you love !
I know you don't love that girl who has come into your life !
It's all because of our petty misunderstandings but I will clear all this tonight .

I know you miss all the kisses ,caresses and the smooch fest that we could both drown ourselves into so don't play hard to get because of our petty misunderstandings ,alright ? "Meredith tried getting Jakes to smooch her but Jakes pushed her aside once again .
"Mer ,no matter what you do ,there will be no more 'us' !
It's over Mer ,just accept it and stop this craziness !
Now wear your dress properly and leave my office now !" Jakes faced the wall while Meredith dressed up .
"Haha ..till date no man has been able to resist my charm Jakes and you will not resist it either !
No one uses me and dumps me Jakes Riddles ,you won't be the first or the last !
