Chapter Nine .. President of Riddles Cooperation

"Why is that ? Does the president own this company ? "Eloise asked curiously .

"Don't you know ? He's Jakes Riddles and he's not the president of only this firm !

He's the president of Riddles Cooperation and this firm is one of the minor firms of Riddles Cooperation . Riddles Cooperation consists of five firms of business and so he's the law of this firm .

Enough now Miss , let's go "Eloise and Inno made their way to the firm again .

"Woww Jakes ! Superb ! You think by hiring me in this company ,you will earn my forgiveness or even my trust again ,is it ?!

I'm no longer the eight-year old fool you knew back then !

I won't reject your hire because I want to prove to you that I have moved on and you mean nothing to me anymore Jakes Riddles and most especially I need the money !

I hope you don't get your emotions high at where you are standing now ,Jakes !"Eloise followed Inno swiftly to the board room where Jakes stood and drank his whiskey .

"Miss Jenkins ,sorry for the inconveniences before and so the entire board has given it a thought to hire you in Cooperatives of Jewelry Designs but not as a normal jewelry designer instead as a contracted designer of this company .You will design the company's major projects !

Do you accept the offer ,Miss Jenkins ? " A file was pushed right in front of Eloise with a pen attached to it by one of the board members.

"Hurry Eloise ,sign the contract and that way I know I will have enough time to make it up to you !

I won't stop till you trust me again Eloise !" Jakes thought and looked at Eloise with the corner of his eyes ."You are still looking more beautiful like when you were a kid ,Eloise you are mine .Only mine ..!" Jakes thought once again .

"Go on Jakes ,drink as much as you want but you can never win over me .

If you think I'm signing this two-year contract so that you can get closer to me ,then it's a mistake you are making Jakes !

You have increased my salary to twenty thousand a month but that won't change my mind Jakes .

I've been fooled once but not for the second time ,Jakes Riddles especially by the same person !"Eloise also thought before making her final decision .

"I accept this contract ..!"She said after reading the entire contract and appended her signatures on the papers .

"Good choice Eloise ,I know there are thousands of thoughts running in your head now but don't worry ,I won't let you go even if you want to .You are mine only Eloise ..!"Jakes thought with a broad smile across his face .

"Smile wide Jakes ,smile because you are counting your own doom !

You said you never lose right ? We shall see if you can stand your lost after I smash your own plans to your face !"Eloise also thought .

"Miss Jenkins ,you made the right decision to work with Cooperatives of Jewelry Designs.

Welcome to our board ..!"

"Thank you sir ,thank you all so much and especially to you ,Mr . President !" Eloise gritted her teeth and Jakes in order to joke with Eloise ,raised his glass of whiskey to her for a toast .

"Argh!! ! What nerves ! "Eloise muttered in spite for Jakes' actions .Inno led Eloise to her office ,an office that was a stone thrown away from Jakes' office .

The office was arranged with luxurious sofas and couches .The furniture were expensive and the painting of a shell near a beach was right on the wall .The office was big and spacious .

"Welcome to your office Miss luck ,I told you that the chairman has really fallen in love with your designs .

No employee has been given an office in the Chairman's chamber .You are the first and I don't know if you will be the last .

Please grant me some of your luck so that the chairman won't scold me anymore !" Inno joked with his husky creepy voice which made Eloise smile .

"Alright ,I will leave now .In case you are looking for me ,I'm downstairs Miss Luck ."Inno left the office as soon as possible to continue his work .

"Inno ...!"

"Chairman Riddles ,do you need any help ?

Oh ,so sorry Chairman ,I have done as you have asked me to !

I have sent Miss Luck to the office in your chamber ."Inno said with his creepy voice again .

"Miss Luck ? "Jakes asked .

"Aww Sir ,so sorry ! Actually Miss Jenkins is in her office now .

Can I take my leave now ,Sir ? "He squinted.

"Inno ,get lost from my presence !"Inno quickly rushed from his presence .

"Foolish boy ..haha!" Jakes laughed out loud and walked straight to his office .

He comfortably sat on his ergonomic chair and put on his computer .

Scrolling up and down of the computer ,he opened a security setting with the password being ELOISE on his computer .

"Eloise ,now I will watch your one and every move !

I know you hate me now and I understand .You have every right to do so Eloise .

So forgive me but I had no choice other than to install security cameras in your office to watch your every move !"Jakes muttered .

Eloise wandered around in her office for a while as Jakes comfortably sat on his chair and watched her .

"Jakes Riddles ,you have no shame at all .How low can you stoop to get what you want ,huh ?!

Anyways ,I don't even care if I'm in your chamber ,I came here to work and that's exactly what I will do and nothing else !" As Eloise spoke aloud to herself in her office ,Jakes connected a headset to his computer and listened to her clearly .He then picked his cordless Panasonic phone and made a call to his secretary .."Renata ,I need you to tell Miss Jenkins to come to my office now ." Jakes ended the call after that . Eloise's cordless office phone rang and she picked it up ..

"Hello ..!" She said with her silky voice . "Miss Jenkins ,Chairman Riddles wants you in his office now ,come quickly .He doesn't like to wait !"Renata hanged up the call on Eloise and called Jakes ."Sir ,Miss Jenkins has been informed ,she will be there in a jiffy ..!" .
