Chapter 128.. Mama! Papa!

"Eloise ,calm down alright ? You consider me a sister and I consider you a sister too so I believe my niece will be okay .

That piece is just like my piece ,her bone is like my bone and so there's no way she will remain stick to that hospital bed .

Trust me ,my niece will be okay ."Joan consoled a crying , disturbed and devastated Eloise .

Joan excused herself when Nicholas and Stephanie approached her .

"My dear .."Stephanie sat by her side .

"The last thing I seriously need now is not for you both to add more salt to my wounds because i'm completely shattered by what ever that is happening to my daughter .

Please ,I want to be left alone ,we can argue later ."Eloise said covering her face with both hands .

"It's okay to cry because it will release your pain .

You are a good mother and a good mother like you only deserves the best of everything in life and the fact that you've been faced and still facing trials doesn't make you any less of a good mother .

Your dad and I are proud of you because you didn't turn up to be like us even though you didn't have a wealthy life like the one your sister and us had when everything turned out fine with business.You are strong my dear ,very strong and each day of our lives ,we continue to be proud of you .

Your daughter is equally strong like you and so I know that she will surely pull through this ."Stephanie's words had great effect in convincing Eloise to the extent that she hugged her .

"Mama ! Papa ! "Eloise called out and this brought great happiness in both Nicholas's and Stephanie's heart . Together ,they both hugged their daughter happily since they've been dying to hear these golden words from Eloise's mouth out of love and not duty .

Dora went to the chapel to light a candle for Suzzy too .

"Son!"She rubbed Jakes' long push back hair in a cuddling-like manner like a child with her hands and Jakes who was all broken down rested on her laps sobbing like a child .

She decided to leave Jakes and Eloise to talk things out once Eloise was done lighting up a candle for Suzzy's speedy recovery .

She walked majestically to sit by Jakes after grabbing two cups of coffee for both her and Jakes .

"Coffee ? It's black and it contains no sugar just as you like it ."Eloise handed over the cup of coffee to Jakes .

"Thanks alot .."Jakes said , drinking his coffee .

"Hehe ! haha ! ha!"Eloise began laughing all of a sudden and this surprised Jakes .

A while ago ,she was all broken down and devastated and now she was all smiling and laughing .

"Allow me to laugh handsome , cheers !"Eloise winked at Jakes with her cup of coffee up .

"I know why you are like this , Lolly . It's because firstly ,you are surprised I'm in a chapel and secondly you are shocked Jakes Riddles is shedding tears .

Have you forgotten you taught me that when everything is going against the odds ,I should go to a chapel and pray ? So I'm just doing that and it's normal for me to shed tears for my daughter , isn't it ?

I'm sorry for everything I've done to you .The truth is you were right , I've never done or brought any good thing into your life ever since you met me except for our daughter .

And now our daughter is in this state because of me .A thousand apologies wouldn't mend all the pain I've caused you but at least I hope you accept the fact that I'm sorry .

I'm sorry Eloise Jenkins , I'm sorry for everything ."Jakes' remorseful face proved how sorry he was about all his actions .

"I'm sorry too , I'm sorry for keeping our daughter from you because of our fight .

Come to think of it , I've hurt her the most because thanks to me ,people called her a bastard child .

I'm sorry for thinking that I wanted the best for our daughter but indirectly I was truly using her a pawn to get back at you for the pain you caused me .

I'm sorry for also being the reason our daughter is in this state but you also taught me that everything you do wrong can be mended as far as there's a solution .

Just like in business ,you always have to find a way to curb your problems into their respective solutions .

Look Jakes ,we are no more kids and so it means there's a solution for our problems too .

I meant it when I said that I was your wife and you were my husband .

I lied when I said I hated you and I wasn't sure when I said I wanted a divorce .

Excuse me .."As soon as Eloise intended to leave , Jakes held her hand to stop her .

"I meant it when I said I wanted to fix our marriage and now ,I mean it telling you to come back home .

Henceforth ,you and I and our daughter and our parents will stay together .

We are in a chapel ,and it means that we can take our vows again and become husband and wife .

So tell me ,Eloise Jenkins ,will you marry me Jakes Riddles and love me till thy kingdom comes ? "Jakes pulled out two rings from his pocket .

"Did you seriously bring a ring here ? Were you really preparing to propose to me ? "Eloise asked quite surprised .

"I have been carrying these rings along with me since the day I met you again after eighteen years because I knew that I will definitely make you mine again .

So , what's your answer ? Will you marry me ,Eloise Jenkins ? "Jakes asked for the second time .

"Jakes Riddles ,I surely will marry you ."Eloise stretched out her fingers and Jakes fixed the ring on her ring finger .Jakes also did same and Eloise fixed the ring on his ring finger as well .

Unknown to them , their family and friends were behind them except for Sonya and Josette who had sought permission to leave .

The love duo took their vows again and took the blessings of both parents for their newly renewed married lives .
