Suzzy stood at the door and wondered what they were both talking about .

Just then ,she received her mother's voicemail .

"Baby ,where are you ? Why aren't you picking up my calls ,huh ?

Wherever you are ,head home ,I'm coming over ."Suzzy listened to her mother's voicemail .

"Mummy is coming over , should I be scared or happy because mummy is so surprising at times !

Damn ! what are those two talking about ?

What should I do now ? Should I go back to the streets ?

No Suzzy ,you can't do that .You need to be confident .

You messed up and you need to be ready to accept your mistakes ."Suzzy contemplated with her own thoughts and gathered some courage to move forward .

Once she stepped into the hall ,she had developed goose bumps all over her body and her legs were already shivering .

"My dear ,why are you standing there ? Why don't you come sit with us ? We were just talking about you ."Dora said to Suzzy .

Suzzy gathered some courage and walked closer to where they were sitting .

"Please forgive me ,I'm so sorry ,I'm so sorry " Suzzy said all covered up in tears .

"Princess , what's wrong with you ? Why are you crying ?

Come on ,speak to daddy .."Jakes worriedly put his daughter on the sofa so that she could relax .

He gave her a glass of water and wiped off her tears with his thumb .

Suzzy was still sobbing and so Jakes pulled her tightly into his embrace without any further questions .

His face and eyes were red and he seemed very heart broken seeing Suzzy in tears .

Dora couldn't bear seeing Suzzy's state either as a mother so she helped Jakes coax Suzzy .

After a while ,Suzzy pulled herself from Jakes' embrace and wiped her tears .It was then she decided to speak up .

"Daddy ! Grany ! are you both angry at me ? "Suzzy asked twisting both fingers .

"Angry ? Princess ,why would we be angry at you?

You are the apple of my eye and it's impossible for me to be angry at you ."Jakes fondled Suzzy's chubby cheeks .

"Is that so ? I thought you both were angry at me because of what happened at the fashion center .

I screwed up big time ,you know ? "Suzzy said still wiping away her tears .

"My dear ,we ain't angry at you .Whatever that happened at the fashion center wasn't your fault .You dud what you were supposed to do to defend yourself .

The money that was spent was no money to cry about and just as I was telling your dad ,you have proven that you are a true Riddles .

You made a confident decision and your decision has only brought success to us .

"Jakes ,at least say something .."Jakes signalled .

That money ain't money for my daughter to shed tears on and so I'm angry ,excuse me both of you ."Jakes headed for his room upstairs .

"Don't worry sweetheart ,your daddy will get over this alright ?

Go and take some rest in your room ,lunch will soon be ready ."Suzzy headed to her room to take some rest just as her grandmother wanted .

After a while ,Eloise came over .

"Eloise ,come in and sit with me ."Dora said after hugging her .

"Actually aunty ,I came here because of my daughter and I'm sorry for the mess she caused earlier .

Is she here ? Can I talk to her ? "Eloise asked .

"Well ,both father and daughter are taking rest in their individual rooms and your daughter is okay but my son isn't . He's really angry now because Suzzy was apologizing for the mess she caused earlier .

She even shed tears over that dime of money that flew off today and so Jakes is angry .

You know how he is about these things right ? "Dora got a bit emotional .

"It's okay aunty , don't worry ,I will talk to them ."Eloise assured her with a smile .

"No ,it isn't just about talking to them my dear , it's about being there for them .They both need you in their lives ,you trio deserve to have a complete family ."Dora said .

"Umm! Aunty ,I think .."

"No Eloise ,you need not think about anything for now .All you need to think about is how you will get your family together .

I'm not growing younger ,you know ? And I can't always be in the middle of their fights .
