The Pool Incident And Ritsu's Return

Of course, there's also the kinda betrayal that you'd feel when you come to know that the cute girl that you like in that one anime was actually a guy cosplaying as a girl. As they say, it takes a real man to be the best girl.

(Shun's POV)

It was yet another great day. It would've been a good day to get back to the company and manage things there, but things are already pretty stable there and it could run on its own without me. After all, I have a pretty reliable secretary and assistant with me.

"So, are you ready to go back to school? I'm not gonna lie, I'm actually surprised that Mutsuko-san would actually invite you in the [Group Chat] using her own invite. However, I'm more surprised about the response of the system to that invitation…" I said while talking to the girl with lilac colored hair — with some strands of white mixed with it — and blue colored irises who's walking beside me.

"Yeah, I'm surprised by that as well. Because of that though, Mutsuko-nee don't have to use her invite and I still get to be a part of your group!" the girl said happily.

"Well, I guess a System Fairy Trainee also counts as a [Group Chat] member. The system messages did say that that was the case…"

You might've guessed already who I'm talking to but, yeah, the girl I'm talking to right now is Ritsu. She's no longer just an artificial intelligence but an AI that was granted sentience by the God who's the superior of the Dog God who reincarnated me.

Not only that, but the body she is using right now, which was supposed to be a robot-like body that resembles those automatons in books, was modified by that same God as well. I say that, but it was the system message that relayed that to us.

You see, because Mutsuko-san wanted to have a partner like an AI, it seems like she used her one and only [Group Invite Coupon] to invite Ritsu. However, once the system detected who Ritsu was, the invitation was invalidated and instead, Ritsu was invited to become a System Fairy Trainee.

I thought it was trying to meddle with me but it seems like it was actually a function that was set to activate when we unlock the [Dimensional Train] and upgrade the [Group Chat]. Ritsu was deemed to be a great prospect by the [Group Chat], that's why an invitation to become a trainee — and eventually a true System Fairy — was extended towards her.

According to the system messages, it seems like a [System Fairy] is someone who is responsible in teaching the newbies the functions of the [Group Chat], as well as assisting them. The fairy is also an assistant of the [Admin]. She could accompany the [Group Chat] members in the quests without taking any participation slots but, in exchange, she wouldn't receive any of the rewards.

Well, she would still get some kind of upgrade depending on her contributions on the [Quests], so I guess that counts as a reward as well?

Anyway, back to Ritsu's new body. She's now an Android. To be more precise, she's like a human with robotic properties, if that makes any sense at all.

She has the body functions of humans but still maintained the power of the original robot that we initially made for her. Now, it seems like she could now summon tools and etc out of thin air because of the skill she got which was kinda similar to Mutsuko-san's. Mutsuko-san's skill is more powerful though, depending on how you look at it.

She could still download her 'data' to devices so, if anything, she got a massive upgrade because of the group chat.

Currently, we're on our way to school. Pochi, Tama, Rokuko, and Mutsuko-san already went ahead of me since the two kids was very excited about the event that's about to take place at our school.

The moment we entered inside the classroom building, we came across Irina-sensei.

"Ah, good morning Irina-sensei."

"Good morning, Shirakami. Hmm? Who's this? She really looks like Ritsu." Irina-sensei said while looking at Ritsu with her eyes squinted.

"Good morning, sensei! It's nice to finally meet you personally!" Ritsu said while showing a bright smile on her face.

"Eh? Personally? You're really Ritsu?" This time, Irina-sensei is now really dumbfounded.

"It's a long story, sensei. Didn't you hear of it from Karasuma-sensei and Koro-sensei? I'm pretty sure I sent an e-mail to them regarding this. I didn't know your mail so I could only send it to them haha."

The story that we came up with for Ritsu's appearance as a real human being was that she was a genius who made the Autonomously Intelligent Fixed Artillery. Now that it went out of business and lost her funding, I reached out to her and funded her myself.

They would have trouble confirming this information since the country of Norway wouldn't so easily allow the leak of their researcher's informations. There's also the fact that Ritsu managed to hack into their database and make an identity for her own, which was honestly great.

As if she just remembered something, Irina-sensei recovered from her dumbfounded expression and, while looking at me, she said.

"Oh, yeah, I did hear Karasuma talk about it. About my mail address, here. Make sure not to spread it to others okay? Sensei doesn't like to chat with horny teenage boys~…" After saying that, Irina-sensei said goodbye to both of us before walking out.

I still can't believe that she's just a few years older than me. Aside from her outbursts that's completely child-like, she acts like an adult most of the time.

Before Irina-sensei could take a any more steps though, she stopped from her tracks and turned around.

"Oh, right. You should come to the faculty, Ritsu. Since you're going to transfer in and not as a replacement for your previous 'self' that's dropped out, we need to finalize some things."

"Yes! See you at the classroom, Shun-san!"

"Ah, see you there."

With that, Irina-sensei left with Ritsu in tow.

"It just came to our knowledge that Ritsu was dropping out of our class…" Koro-sensei said, dropping a bomb on our class.

For some reason, his eyes are continuously overflowing with mucus. I wonder what's up with that?

I arrived just before the third period so I totally missed something here. Tama and Pochi are even squinting their noses as if they're smelling something foul around. They had that same expression when they got home yesterday.

Anyway, my thoughts aside, this announcement made each and everyone of us, by us I mean our classmates, even Terasaka who was so against her during the short time she was here, to be shocked. A lot of questions flew out but Koro-sensei decided to ignore them.

"Everyone, keep quiet. I'm not done yet."

Once the entire room went silent, Koro-sensei cleared his throat.

"E-hem. In place of her though, her creator will be transferring in. Umemiya-san, you can now come in."

"Yes!"

A few seconds later, a girl who bears a striking resemblance to Ritsu came inside the classroom. Their only difference is the strands of white hair on her lilac colored hair and the fact that she's a real person.

"Nice to meet you all for the first time in person. My name's Umemiya Ritsu."

The moment Ritsu said her name, someone from our class couldn't help but ask.

"Eh? Umemiya Ritsu? Why a Japanese name? Isn't she Norwegian?"

But then, he was immediately shut down by someone.

"That's a cover up name, obviously, you fool."

This statement was then followed up by Koro-sensei who confirmed it.

"What Karma-san said is true. It's a little confidential to talk about what happened but, basically, Shirakami-kun over there offered her help when her research lost all of its investors."

Everyone except those who are in the know was shocked by this revelation but, at this point, they already know that I'm quite wealthy. After all, they knew that I asked a construction company to build us a gymnasium outside of our class.

Whenever we're not doing the training regimen that Karasuma-sensei made based on our surroundings, we're using that gym during P.E class. Hmm, should I order some training equipments? It should be useful.

Anyway, once the class settled down, Koro-sensei made us change into our swimsuits(with our tracksuits on top of it) and led us deep inside the forest. Pochi and Tama was literally brimming with excitement as we followed Koro-sensei closely.

While everyone else is wondering what is happening, I already know what's waiting for us inside. After all, I assisted Koro-sensei in making this possible. A lot of the credit goes to Koro-sensei though.

A few moments later, we finally reached the deeper parts of the forest. There, we all saw a large pool that was made in the middle of a river, complete with a small tower for life guards, and some other equipments that you'll see in an Olympic swimming pool. It's like a pool and a dam at the same time.

Everyone marveled at the sight as we overlooked it on top of a pretty high cliff. It's not Olympic sized though.

"Saa, everyone, behold! This is the swimming pool that I and Shirakami-kun worked on making. Even though he was out for a week, he still remembered to help your sensei make you have some fun!" Koro-sensei said.

Well, I gotta admit, this was mostly because of Pochi and Tama's request. Since I heard that Koro-sensei was planning on making this, I volunteered on polishing it. I even came here once with sensei to check things out.

Seeing the huge pool, everyone was elated. They immediately took off their tracksuits and shoes before jumping straight towards the water. Chief among them was Pochi and Tama.

"Waiiii~!"

"Kawabongga, nanodesu!"

Once everyone was inside the pool, aside from some who doesn't seems to be keen on going inside the pool, I thought of a good idea to make them go inside it. Taking off my tracksuit and shoes, I backtracked in order to get some running start before jumping off the cliff.

"Everyone, out of the way! Cannonbaaaaall!" I shouted while curling myself into a fetal position mid air.

*Ka-splash!*

Due to the impact, a large amount of droplets exploded out of the water, wetting those who are just on the side of the pool. These people are none other than Terasaka-san, Hazama-san, and Takebayashi-san.

After resurfacing, I saw Okajima-san who's desperately wiping his camera with his hands. Hey, why did you bring a camera and why would you even dare to bring one if it's not waterproof in a pool setting?

"Ah! I was planning on taking some pictures but! Kuuu, it got wet! Come on, work!"

"I'll take that camera and the memory card. Good thing you haven't used it yet, or else…" I said while gesturing at him with a snipping gesture to remind him.

"H-Ha! Yes of course, boss man! I was just planning to take a few bird's eye view pictures to commemorate this scene!" Okajima-san said while sweating.

"Of course, of course. Bird's eye view picture while being on the same height as us, eh. I completely understand man. Ah! Watch out Kayano-san. You almost overturned your floating ring!" I was planning on talking with Okajima-san more but I just saw Kayano-san who bumped on the edge of the pool and almost overturned because of the waves.

"Isn't it because of your stunt!"

"Hahaha, sorry about that."

Whilst we were talking amongst ourselves I heard someone shout and got pushed towards the pool. The one who got pushed towards the pool was none other than Takebayashi-san and the guy who pushed him, or rather, kicked him, was Terasaka-san.

This guy… He's always been quite annoying but he's taking it to the next level, huh. I heard that he's got some brilliant plan to assassinate Koro-sensei in this pool but, I have my doubts about that.

Sure enough, it didn't take long for him to prove me right.

"I've always hated you. What I wanted the most, more than anything, is for you to disappear!" Terasaka-san said while holding the 'gun' that was made to shoot out BB's and pointing it at Koro-sensei.

"Yes, I know. After this assassination, we'll have a nice and long talk~. Nyu-huhuhu."

The moment Terasaka-san pulled the trigger, I heard a sound of something exploding. That was the dam that I asked to be built in order to make this pool possible.

"""Kyaaaa!"""

Screams of the girls and some guys alike filled the pool as many of them began to get swept by the huge current of water. There's no time to think about what and why that happened for now.

Using [Blink] and the [Divine Warp Feather], I took each and every one of my classmates away from the raging current. It took some time since it was very hard to locate them due to the huge stream of water but I managed to save them all in time.

Koro-sensei also helped out, plunging his tentacles inside the water, prioritizing to save those guys who can't swim. With everyone safe and alive, I then turned towards the now shaken Terasaka-san.

Looks like he himself doesn't even know what he had gotten himself into. With no questions asked, I appeared in front of him and gave him a good kick to the stomach.

"Guha!"

It feels like I've been doing this a lot lately.

Now, who was it who placed that bomb there? There's only a few suspects who would do that.

One of them is…

My train of thoughts was interrupted by a white haired guy who jumped off the high cliff. With his own white colored tentacles, he began attacking Koro-sensei. However, he was blocked by Pochi and Tama who intercepted him.

As I thought. Looks like, after Terasaka-san, I have to take care of that guy once and for all, huh.
