I still remember the time when I was a kid. Me and my cousin, who I don't remember now, would run around wearing a v-neck shirt over a t-shirt and pants.

We would seriously punch each other using our measly strength as a kid while shouting "HAAA!" and "Atatatata!" like some idiots on top of the bed.

It was one of those days when yelling "KA… ME… HA… ME… WAAAAAAAYYYY—VAH!" was a thing among us kids.

There's also the clumsily executed take downs at times.

Those were the good times…

At the time though, NEET or OTAKU was still not very commonly used terms to address us anime lovers.

(Shun's POV)

As I watched messages after messages flash into my screen one by one, I could only massage my temples. What's with this group?

Dog Hero, Cat Ninja, and Invincible Maple are all still okay since they're not that talkative—definitely not because I'm biased about them since the first two are beastkins, nope. However, this Wicked Lord, Queen of Hell, and Chuuni Big Sister seems to be a bit too hyperactive and imaginative.

Just basing it on their names right now, I could safely say that they seems to be stage 1 patients of a sickness commonly known as eight-grader syndrome. It's a common for teenagers to suffer from this sickness.

As of right now, there is no cure for this sickness.

Well, as an otaku myself, I could understand the excitement of meeting supernatural beings and the like but I think this is a bit too over the top. Not that I have the rights to call them out for that since I've been through this phase for once in my life as well…

You know, those times when you would jump around while holding your house's broom, shouting the special move of your favorite character like an idiot, complete with a maniacal laughter.

I still remember the time when I would copy Daimos and Voltes Five while battling my cousin who's wearing a Barney costume. Those were good times.

Anyway, I have to do something about these noisy group members.

I guess I have to use my authority here as [Admin].

Black Angel: Hey guys. Welcome to the [Dimensional Group Chat].

Black Angel: I don't know how and why we are gathered here together or whether this all just happened through sheer coincidence but, as the assigned [Admin] of the group chat, I want to first establish even a little bit of order in this group chat.

Black Angel: Hey, I don't want to come off as someone strict but this is just for the moment. We could chat with whatever we like once we're done with the formalities.

Black Angel: For now, let us start with a bit of introduction, starting from myself. I'm Shirakami Shun, a relatively normal teenager who's studying at a nearby Public High School.

Black Angel: I like studying different kinds of martial arts, cooking, and I also like to play games and read light novels, mangas, and such as a hobby.

System Message: Black Angel sent a photo.

System Message: Black Angel changed his name into Shun.

System Message: Shun lifted the 5 minutes mute on the chat.

After doing my own introduction, I went to my profile and changed my profile picture into a photo that I took using my phone's camera. Of course, I didn't forget to show a slight smile as I didn't want to come across as a bossy, cold faced, and arrogant prick.

Can't have those my fellow group members, most especially the fantasy world inhabitants, to have a bad impression of me. I have so much questions to ask to them, after all.

(Third Person's POV)

Inside a wide room that screams girly, a girl of around fifteen years of age could be seen rolling around her bed while holding onto her phone. This girl has fair skin and shiny black hair that extends beneath her chin, with a short ahoge while her eyes are a shade of cool grey.

She's wearing a white pajama with a blue colored bear design and she could be seen laying prone on top of her bed. Beside her is a futuristic looking gadget that looks like those VR helmets, save for the bulky apparatuses that goes along with it every time.

Around her room were weird and bizarre looking items like an old radio, cassette tapes, dolls with unique expressions, suspicious looking scrolls, and etc. It seems really out of place considering the whole vibe and theme of her room.

Right now, this girl is hugging one of her soft pillows while playing with her phone.

"Mou… why did the [Admin] mute me as well? It was Queen of Hell, Chuuni Big Sis, and Wicked Lord who are making a commotion!"

She joined this group while she is browsing the internet for fun earlier. The name is catchy enough for someone like her who likes to see and collect unique stuffs to catch her interest.

She's also curious as to what it would turn out to be after joining.

After sulking for a few seconds, she rolled on top of her bed, eventually facing the ceiling.

"Maybe I should start playing [New World Online] that Risa told me?"

While she is thinking about such things, she suddenly heard the sound of an incoming message come from her phone.

Curious, she once again picked up her phone and read the message.

"Oh, it looks like the [Admin] introduced himself…"

It took a few seconds of silence for her to give a reaction.

"Ehh!? What does he mean by relatively normal teenager? He's probably a model just based on his looks…"

Being the airhead that she is, she immediately followed Shun's introduction with her own introduction message. Besides, it seems like they're not bad people.

Her intuition is telling her that and she quite trust her intuition when it comes to things like this.

"Umm… a picture. Should I send one? Ah! I'll just send the one Risa took for me this morning!"

She searched through her files for a bit before clicking send.

Invincible Maple: Hello everyone! I don't know what this group chat is but since you all seems to be nice people, I'll also introduce myself!

Invincible Maple: My name is Honjou Kaede! Like [Admin] Shirakami-san, I'm also 15 and is currently studying in High School!

System Message: Invincible Maple changed her name into Kaede.

System Message: Kaede sent a photo.

After typing her brief introduction, she waited for the others if they'll do the same.

(Third Person's POV)

At an abandoned alleyway, two girls of around 12 or so years of age could be seen holding a smartphone-like gadget. These devices are what they both picked up during one of their rounds while searching for food.

What's weird about this thing is that, even though they are hiding and staring at it, their fellow street kids could never see what's in their hands.

Believing that it is magic, the two were fascinated and started playing with it. Just as they are poking and prodding the object, it suddenly lit up and showed them a message asking them whether they would like to join something.

Of course, without knowing what it is, the two pressed the button at the same time after looking at each other in the eye for a split second.

After they did so, they gained some basic knowledge about how to use and what this object is, further fascinating the curious minds of the two.

Currently, they are looking at the messages that flooded the group chat.

After a while, the one with a white colored hair with a brownish black pair of cat ears on top of her head, red colored irises and a white colored tail behind her back spoke to the one beside her. This girl's the one with the username 'Ninja Cat'.

"Neh~ Inu… Should we follow this [Admin], desu?"

The one beside her, a girl with black hair and a pair of black ears like that of a dog, deep blue eyes, and a fluffy looking black colored tail behind her replied.

"Yes, nanodesu! We should take a… umm… pictuwr?"

"It's picture~ desu…"

"Un! Picture! We should take a picture together nanodesu!"

※ Shun's initial username was supposed to be Nanny or Black Maiden but I decided to make it have more of an androgenous feel instead of straight up calling him 'maiden' even though that is obviously not the case.

※ Pochi is like that in the Webnovel and anime. Pochi is hyperactive, hence resulting in her slurring her words or saying a different word at times. Tell me if nanodesu is better than her speaking formally while adding 'sir' in her words.

※ Tama usually stretches her words. This gave her an image of a cat in general, that's why I decided to add '~' in her words. She also likes to add the suffix desu in her words.

※ Yes, I made them older here. It's an AU so who cares about cannon, am I right?
