Chapter 5 The big changes

When Alice and others came closer to unconscious Alex they saw that not only his eyes had changed but also his face, black fur was growing on his face. Everyone was shocked by seeing this. 'What is happening?' They thought. Then Alex wakes up again.

"Alice... My head... Hurts..."

And fainted again.

"Alex... We have to help him!" Alice shouted

"Hmmm.... Take him to the tube! Quickly!" Shouted one doctor

And they took him. When they were transporting him he wakes up sometimes. They reached the room with big tube in the middle, lots of computers on the left side and lots of monitors on the right side. The room was dark and big. The doctor pushed one button and something happened. The tube has opened.

"Put him in the tube and put the mask on him" Said doctor

They placed him on the chair and Bob took the mask

"Wow... It's so elastic... And feels good..." He said and he put it on him

When he put it on he left the tube and it closed with Alex inside. Seconds later green liquid started to fill up the tube.

"Wait... What are you doing to him?" Said John

"Well... We don't know what is happening to him so I thought that putting him in the tube will help him... As long as he is in the tube he will be asleep and we can monitor him and maybe we will find out what is happening to him" said doctor

[Meanwhile in the Alex's mind]

He finds himself in a strange place. He feels like he is in the water, but can breath and can't see anything, not even his nose. Even he couldn't see his body he could still fill it.

'Where am I? Am I dead?' he thought

'I have to get out of here... But how?'

He started to think about the way to get out. Then something got in his mind.

'Wait... I'm in water right? Maybe if I swim in one direction I can find the wall?'

And he started to swim.

[In the real world]

Alex's body has changed. There was more fur on his body and his shape changed.

"Hmmm.... Interesting..." Said doctor

"What is it doctor?" Said Alice

"Look at this" he pointed at the screen

She walked closer to look at the screen and saw something strange

"What is this?" She said

"Well... This is his DNA... And it is merging with your DNA from the blood you gave him..."

"Ok but how is his body changing? That doesn't make sense to me"

"I don't know... I think it's Pokémon DNA is doing that..."

Then John and Bob came in

"What is happening to Alex? Is everything alright?" Said John

"Well... I'm not sure... But I can say that his vital functions are stable..."

"That's good... Wait... What do you mean you don't know what is happening to him?" Said Bob

"Like I said I don't know... Alice's DNA is merging with his DNA and he is becoming something else... Something between Lucario and human I can only say. We won't know what exactly he will become until he will be it..." Said doctor

[Alex's mind]

He is swimming for a very long time. Still no sign of the wall or even no light. Then something is happening with his memories... They show and disappear... Some memories bring happiness, some pain. One memory showed... He wished it to disappear forever... Very painful memory. It is about his parents, the last words with them and emptiness from their lost. He was talking with them trough a tablet.

"When will you land?" Said Alex

"I think you know the answer. You have the access to the plane data bout that. But I think we will land on the airport in 4,5 hour. I can't wait to see you" said his mother

"Hehe... I can't wait to see you too... How are you doing? You, dad and Pavel?"

"We are doing fine. Your dad is talking with your brother and I'm bored so I'm talking with you. How is your business doing?"

"Everything is doing great! We have completed 3 new games and one corporation gave us a contract!"

"A contract? What do you have to do?"

"Well... We have to create a program for them. In a week I'm going to a meeting with them about more information"

"I'm happy that your dream is coming true. I remember that you always wanted to create a game"

"Hey are you talking with our son?" Said dad

"Hi dad! How are you?"

"I'm doing fine. *he picked up Pavel and placed him on his leg* Look who is this"

"Big brother! How are you?"

"I'm fine. I'm happy that I will see you soon"

"We are happy about it t-"

Alex could hear the rest what Pavel said because the signal disappeared.

"C'mon! Don't be like that!"

He was trying to restore the signal but he couldn't. He checked the tracker and... Nothing... Whole plane disappeared in the air. He quickly called somewhere and received confirmation... Whole plane stopped existing.

Then memory ends.
