Recovering The Wounded

The next day . . . 

"Hey Cyrus", said Tom. "What is it", said Cyrus. "I just got a call from the hospital, Sophia has fully healed and is ready to be released", Tom said. "There isn't a single word to describe how happy I am right now", said Cyrus. "They said that we can pick her up right now", said Tom. "Stop whatever your doing and get your fucking car ready because were going now", said Cyrus. "I thought that would get you happy", said Tom. "Oh yes it did", said Cyrus. "Then lets go", said Tom.

A half hour later, after they got checked in to the hospital . . . 

"How long is it gonna take? I don't have the patience for something like this", said Cyrus. "Not much longer, i don't think", Tom said. "Hopefully", said Cyrus. "Anderson. She's ready to see you", The nurse said. "Come on dad", said Cyrus. "I'm coming", said Tom. The two followed the nurse for a bit until they reached Sophia's room. "She's in here", said the nurse. Without a single millisecond to lose, Cyrus opened the door faster than you could read this sentence. Sophia was reading a book when Cyrus opened the door. "Cy-Fi", said Sophia. "Babe", said Cyrus as he ran to Sophia and hugged her with tears in his eyes. "I'm so happy your OK", said Cyrus." I'm happy you're aright as well", said Sophia. As the two made a happy reunion, Tom was watching, looking so happy. "Thanks for this", said Tom. "Just doing my job", said the nurse as she walked away. "I don't mean to break up a happy moment but we still have some things to work out", Tom said. "I guess so", said Cyrus. "Since London is back as a shadow i think, we still need a way to defeat her", Tom said. "I think i figured out a way, but i need help with it", Cyrus said. "I can help", said Sophia." We need some brains for it so you would make a good choice", said Cyrus. "I guess me and the rest of the family can help as well", said Tom. "Indeed", said Cyrus." Thanks' guys. "You're the closest thing i have to family right now", Sophia said. "Thanks, Wait what", said Cyrus. "I didn't want to tell this story but i will tell you. On my way here to San Francisco, My parents got into a car crash and it killed both of them. I survived however and when everything got cleared up with the cops, I told them i had family here and i could go to them. I knew the way and they trusted me. The rest is history", Sophia said. "I'm so sorry", said Cyrus and Tom. "It's fine", Sophia said. "I have an idea. I know my bed back at the hotel has some extra room", Cyrus said. "You're too young for that", said Tom. "I was gonna say that Sophia and i could share a bed like me and Casey have done in the past", said Cyrus. "As long as you don't do anything, that would work", said Tom. "What do you think about it Sophia", said Cyrus. "I accepted the offer", said Sophia. "Great", said Cyrus. "Now can we get out of here", said Sophia. "Yea we should go now", said Tom. I'm OK with that", said Cyrus. "Same here", said Sophia as they all check out of the hospital.
