Chapter 34

"Nice," Marguerite said before chasing down her next victim. Music came from all directions. There didn't seem to be any pattern to the way the judges chose their victims. Someone was asked to sing three times in as many minutes. Deanna hadn't been tapped yet. Music ran like her ipod on shuffle in Marilyn's head. She loved the jazz numbers but listened to everything. Tiffany tapped her and Marilyn sang one of pop star's own songs back at her. That led to Tiffany joining in the song and making a complete song and dance out of it. At the end, she put a safety pin on Marilyn's name tag.

"What?" Marilyn started to ask, but Tiffany put her finger to her lips and danced her way to another victim.
