Both Thornir and Lord Stark had returned to their armies and prepared for battle. The first to lead the charge were the Northern Cavalry who tried to exploit the fact that the Wildings didn't have any cavalry of their own.
But Thornir already had a plan for this as he released the pack of wolves that he have slowly breeded over the last few months onto the charging the cavalry.
The Cavalry didn't think much of these wolves since they were so small and insignificant compared to their mighty horses.
But these wolves were not normal wolves but they were trained by Thornir to be vicious so once the wolves and the Northern Cavalry got close the wolves didn't go for the rider's but instead went directly for the horses that were not armored.
The wolves had managed to take down a few cavalry while the rest had passed onward directly heading for the Free Folk army that was just standing their without putting their shields up.
At this time the Northern Cavalry thought that "Savages will always be savages and remain uncoordinated in the face of a mighty army"
The smiles and seriousness to kill on the faces of the Northern Cavalry was intense and in only increased as they got closer to the front line of the Wildlings.
But once they got too close this was when Thornir acted as the ground beneath the Cavalry had suddenly rose up making the cavalry men fall of their horses and get tossed a few feet into the air.
This whole scene was being watched by Lord Stark as his eyes got wide seeing what just happened.
Thornir at this time whistled signaling the wolves to come back to his side.
Once they made it back Thornir ordered his man to push forward since now the threat of the Cavalry was over but still a few soldiers survived the fall and were knocked out on the ground.
A few even stood up and tried to make a last stand while their brother's behind them rushed forward to save their lives.
But it was useless as the Free Folk army had gotten to close to the Cavalry and had killed them all instantly.
The Northern infantry didn't stop in their tracks but instead increased their speed. Mixed in with the army was the many Lords who had accompanied Lord Stark on this Campaign.
Normally they would be on horses but seeing what just happened to the cavalry many were afraid for it to happen to them.
The amount of infantry that were charging was over 12k men while Thornir only had 10k of his men charge since he didn't need that much to destroy the Northern army.
With the Free Folks wild fighting styles and aggressive techniques the Northern army could not withstand a long direct confrontation against them making the Free Folk have the advantage over the Northmen.
It wasn't long until the two forces clashed into each other causing a few people to even fly from the sheer force of the clash.
The Northern archers were placed in the back as they shot volley after volley at the back of the army hoping to kill a bunch of the Wildlings that hadn't gotten involved in the fight yet.
But Thornir had stopped these arrows and redirected them back to the archer's killing a good amount of them.
Next he charged into the battle field and started massacring the Northern soldier's completely making the battle one-sided.
Eventually a group of Lord's attempted to surround him but the end result were their deaths.
After a while the battle had gotten so bad that Lord Stark had to get involved as he ran towards the frontlines and starting cutting down the Wildlings in front of him.
Each fight that he had against one Wildling warrior had been difficult which made him tired quickly but for the sake of the North he could not stop here so he pushed passed his limits and kept going.
Until he eventually ran into Thornir.
"Lord Stark I see you are a capable warrior indeed" Said Thornir to Lord Stark
"And it seems you are to but in my life I have yet to meet someone who can stop me, I wonder if today is going to be that day" Said Lord Stark
Thornir smirked at this statement "Well unfortunately today is going to be that day Lord Stark but it won't be your last day" Said Thornir.
The two only stared at each other for a few seconds before Thornir made the first move directly attacking Lord Stark with a simple move.
While for Thornir it was a simple move to Lord Stark he had to use all his strength to block that move but even then he was knocked back a few feet.
He didn't have time to recover as Thornir was already on his face so he raised his sword to block the attack which caused him to fall to one knee.
Seeing this Thornir backed away a little to allow him to recover.
"Lord Stark your gonna have to do better than that or this battle will be over before you know it" Said Thornir
Lord Stark only smirked and didn't say anything since this battle was already decided, as a warrior and a Lord he knew that he could not win this but he must still try.
A few moments later the end result was as expected Lord Stark was knocked out by Thornir and his life spared while the rest of the Northern army was killed.
It was a slaughter for the Northern army as the Free Folk army had won a major battle and would continue to win more in the future further establishing themselves as not savages beyond the wall but people who can fight as well.
