Shadow Demons

The man had no choice but to agree and so I boarded the bus along with other people. After settling down inside the bus, I took out the map from my bag and began to examine it. The town on the map isn't all that big and is surrounded by thick bushes.

"Becoming their chief?" I mumbled while staring at the map. "Does he think they'll let me become their chief after seeing me?" I scoffed and placed the map back inside my bag.

"Shadow demons?" From what the man told me, the people in the town are in constant fear for their lives and the leader isn't doing anything about it. This could be my chance then. I'll save the town by wiping out the threats in it and by so doing win the hearts of the people.

Very easy to say but in fact, I don't know how I'll do it. I have no clue about these shadow demons, what they are and how strong they are. Nevertheless, there is no going back again. Worst come to worst, if I fail in dealing with the threats, I'll have to seize the power with force.
