His joy surged as he discovered several new elements in his stats. The addition of 5 new affinities excited him, along with the accompanying set of [Passives]. Despite not immediately noticing any change in his sight, smell, or hearing, Alex attributed it to the cavernous environment devoid of stimuli.
The only notable presence was his Death Angel, seemingly napping on the floor, but it didn't give off much of a noise or smell.
So he went outside to test out the new stuff he got, and he didn't even use the tokens that gave him skills, so he also used all 3 tokens and prayed for something good.

Common Abilities/Passive Token Used - Healing Grace (Darwin's Game)
Common Abilities/Passive Token Used - Sterilization (the death mage who doesn't want a fourth time)
Common Abilities/Passive Token Used - Static Touch
)
Upon acquiring new powers, Alex promptly accessed his stats to examine the accompanying descriptions, which read as follows:
(
[Healing Grace] - Allows the user to slightly increase the regenerative process when touching a target. Heals small cuts or wounds quickly, greater wounds require more time.
[Sterilization Touch] - Annihilates all bacteria upon contact with any surface touched by the host when activated.
[Static Touch] - The user touch can produce a harmless static shock.
)
Simultaneous with the notification revealing his rewards, Alex's mind was inundated with the knowledge of how to activate these newfound abilities. This unexpected influx of information caught him by surprise and caused him to lose his balance due to the sudden pain.
The tokens bestowed upon him three abilities. While [Static Touch] and [Sterilization Touch] didn't seem particularly combat-oriented, the former offering a potential avenue for playful pranks and the latter proving useful for cleaning, [Healing Grace] from Darwin Game, was honestly really fucking good for him. Despite its initial effectiveness being tied to leveling up, its potential for regeneration marked it as a significant and practical addition.
As the throbbing in his head gradually subsided, Alex noticed a disconcerting development – both his passives and abilities, as well as those of his summons, had lost their levels. Perplexed and concerned, he swiftly consulted Alexa, seeking an explanation for the apparent anomaly in the system.
[During the host's slumber, the system underwent an update that introduced a more transparent user interface, revealing the true nature of skill progression. It clarified that abilities and passives for both the user and summons didn't level up simply through usage; rather, improvement required genuine training and knowledge. There are exceptions for specific skills, but the overall update aimed to emphasize the significance of intentional development rather than passive advancement.]
Alexa explained the matter to Alex, clarifying that while he and his summons could indeed enhance their physical strength through combat and leveling up, the same principle didn't extend to their skills. Skill improvement requires dedicated training and knowledge acquisition.
With a resigned shake of his head and a sigh, Alex absorbed the realization that he couldn't simply farm weaker beasts to level up his less potent skills. Instead, genuine understanding and intentional practice were required for skill improvement. Rather than feeling disheartened, this revelation fueled his determination to learn and work harder once he completed his ongoing tasks.
However he started contemplating the challenges ahead, Alex recognized the difficulty in finding assistance for his magic knowledge and training. The absence of the [Body Takeover] ability, which he lost during the system's creation of his new form, added an extra layer of complexity.
Without a conventional, human-ish body, seeking out a teacher or relying on books seemed like a hard task. The prospect of utilizing the remaining tokens to acquire such resources weighed on his mind as a potential solution, if he's lucky.
Recognizing the potential need for risky moves and uncertain outcomes, Alex resolved to use the remaining tokens in the hopes of acquiring something that could assist him, especially if Artin or Bella couldn't provide the necessary guidance in specific subjects. With anticipation and a silent prayer, he used all of his tokens. Praying to Jesus and the RNG God for something good.

Summon Token - Panther (The Witcher)
Summon Token - Fjordhawk (Ark)
Summon Token - Akitaru Ōbi (Fire Force)
Item Token - Dousing Powder (Sekiro)
Item Token - Grass Jelly (Demon Souls)
Item Token - Loop of Meditation (Kingdoms of Amalur)
)
Examining the available options, Alex noticed the loop of meditation as a potential aid, albeit uncertain of its effectiveness for his specific goals. Despite the uncertainty, the prospect of having a big cat and a hawk to interact with brought him joy.
His affinity for animals, wild or domesticated, had always been a source of comfort as all got pets from him. As for the summon Akitaru Ōbi, while lacking supernatural abilities, his insanely powerful strength and expertise in combat, particularly against fire users, made him a valuable addition.
Acknowledging the limitations of relying solely on tokens, Alex knew the importance of seeking guidance from others to truly enhance his strength. While self-teaching through constant use of magic was an option, having a guide would undoubtedly streamline the learning process and provide valuable insights.
With the immediate need for guidance and improvement temporarily shelved, Alex focused on the present. Stepping outside his dungeon, he beheld the majestic sight of his Tall-Neck lying at the entrance, a creature of awe-inspiring stature. However, the presence of scars and blood around its legs raised concern, leaving him puzzled about the source of the injuries.
Meanwhile, as Alex took in the scene outside his dungeon, the aftermath of the battle with the elemental was evident. The once-pristine surroundings now bore the scars of conflict, with the ground marred by patches of holes and uneven terrain. The trees in the vicinity stood as twisted or broken remnants of their former selves, testifying to the fierce encounter that had transpired in the area.
Unfazed by the current state of disarray around his dungeon entrance, Alex decided to defer the task of restoration until a later date when his magical capabilities had strengthened. For the time being, he directed his attention toward training and mastering the usage of his passives and abilities.
The impact of the improved sensory passives was immediately evident as Alex stepped outside the dungeon. The multitude of smells that had eluded his notice before now inundated his senses, revealing so many new scents. Additionally, he found himself capable of discerning trails left by other creatures, a newfound ability that further enhanced his perception and awareness of the environment.
Alex's heightened sense of hearing also made itself apparent as he tuned into the sounds around him. The movements of nearby creatures became discernible, and he could even pick up on the subtle nuances of one feasting on what seemed to be a moist, fruity substance.
The enhancements to Alex's eyesight were perhaps the most remarkable. When he concentrated on an object, his vision seamlessly zoomed in, rendering a crystal-clear image. Unlike before, nothing appears blurry. The increased acuity allowed him to perceive finer details, such as identifying small fractures and cracks on an arrow he had taken from his [Inventory] that he 'borrowed' from a merchant who attempted to capture him. The level of detail surpassed what most people could discern without the aid of magnifiers.
With his heightened senses somewhat explored, Alex shifted his focus to experimenting with his new affinities – Fire, Water, Earth, Darkness, and Plant. Replicating the process he used to examine his ice affinity, he settled into a seated position, calming his body and attempting to reconnect with his main body to explore the source of each newfound elemental affinity.
After a few minutes of focused concentration, Alex successfully reentered his main body, finding himself in the familiar ethereal space of a white sky and the floor filled with mana. The other summons, including Warren providing belly rubs to the new Panther and Akitaru Ōbi petting the Fjordhawk, were present as well. The drone floated around, fully repaired and ready for action.
Within the confines of his internal space, Alex noticed new additions alongside the small ice crystal that continued to convert elementless mana into ice mana. Five additional crystals, each representing one of his elemental affinities, stood next to it. The crystals shared a similar appearance, with the only distinguishing feature being their colors – red for Fire, blue for Water, green for Plant, brown for Earth, and black for Darkness. Interestingly, the ice crystal appeared slightly larger compared to the others.
But something surprised Alex, when he first entered this place, he directed a stream of mana to his ice element and just watched as it absorbed and converted his mana. But as he did that, he was forcefully awakened. And now, that stream of mana he guided to his ice element continued the entire time. There was a colossal ball of ice mana floating in the air as it continued to slowly expand.
Recognizing the potential benefits of just letting it grow, Alex extended the same approach to the other five crystals, optimizing the amount of mana absorbed by each. After directing a portion of his mana into every crystal, he departed from his internal realm within his body. Returning to the real world, where the environment was all fucked up. He was eager to experiment with the newfound capabilities granted by his elemental affinities.
Exploring his newfound affinity for Fire, Alex closed his eyes and envisioned a basketball-sized fireball forming in his hand, similar to how he had used his ice magic.
He directed mana infused with the fire element, concentrating it on his palm. Upon opening his eyes, he anticipated witnessing the envisioned fireball, but to his disappointment, only small flames, akin to those emitted by a lighter, adorned his palm.
Which were quickly snuffed out when a gust of wind came out of nowhere.
Undeterred by the initial disappointment, Alex proceeded to explore his water affinity. Employing a similar approach as before, he concentrated mana imbued with the water element on his palm. This time, the outcome was more successful, as he quickly generated water droplets. In a matter of around 20 seconds, the water overflowed from the palm of his hand.
The exploration of his earth affinity presented a similar pattern. When attempting to create earth in his hand, he managed only small amounts of dirt. However, when he injected his earth element into the ground, he found himself capable of clumsily manipulating the earth beneath him. The control over the ground was limited in quantity, and maintaining it required a constant infusion of his earth element, as the manipulated earth element quickly dissipated into the ground.
The plant element proved to be a unique experience for Alex. When directing the plant element to his palm, a subtle dark green glow enveloped his hand and that was it. However, the real surprise came when he touched a piece of almost dead grass nearby.
The almost withered grass underwent a remarkable transformation, turning back to its normal state and even appearing healthier than other nearby grass. It grew more vibrant, thicker, and longer, but the unexpected climax occurred when it suddenly exploded into a green paste. The peculiar reaction left Alex both intrigued and puzzled.
Observing the explosive reaction of the revitalized grass, Alex speculated that plants might have specific limits on the amount of mana they could absorb and retain. This provided him with a potential explanation for the peculiar outcome, leaving him to consider the delicate balance required when manipulating the plant element. Maybe this was also the same for the other elements, he had to do more testing.
Exploring his dark element, Alex encountered effects that stood in stark contrast to his experience with the plant element. When directed towards a piece of healthy grass, the dark element caused a slow decay, resulting in the grass drying up and shriveling into dust.
However, when he attempted the same with a nearby tree, the dark element proved ineffective. The tree seemed to resist with its own mana, preventing any significant impact. Apart from the initial injection of the dark element, a small piece of wood appeared to have decayed, signaling the limits and complexities of his newfound ability.
With the initial testing of his elemental affinities completed, Alex recognized the vast potential for further experimentation and discovery with each element. Eager to unlock more capabilities, he looked forward to engaging in extensive testing to test out his new skills.
