Saving the villagers (3)

"Hey kid take this! Use this to fight!" Wang Chao said as he threw a sword. "Don't lose it." Wang Chao added.

"Ah!" Lu Cheng was surprised that his master would be so considerate! He hurriedly tried to catch it, but he missed, and it stabbed straight to the ground with a giant shock wave.

Boom!

Cracks appeared at the place where the sword was stabbed at. Lu Cheng was stupefied. 'What the heck happened?' Lu Cheng thought to himself.

"Be careful though it's sharp!" Wang Chao smiled as he warned Lu Cheng.

"You could have told me earlier! I almost died from that!" Lu Cheng angrily shouted. He almost lost his life if he didn't reacted quickly.

"My bad! I didn't know it had that kind of impact truly sorry!" Wang Chao scratched his back head. He didn't know that it had that kind of impact. He just casually pick up a sword in his inventory that was suitable for a knight like Lu Cheng.

"Gee.. Thanks for almost sending me to death!" Lu Cheng pouted. "So what is this sword all about?" Lu Cheng asked.

"Use it! It's for insurance! so you don't die easily!" Wang Chao smiled as he pat Lu Cheng shoulder.

"Do you expect me to die easily? Haha... in your dreams!" Lu Cheng smiled and he picked up the sword. But it didn't budge.

"Hey! Somethings wrong with this sword!" Lu Cheng said while pointing at the sword.

"Maybe it's just you who is weak!" Wang Chao said while laughing.

"Hey! I'm not weak!" Lu Cheng pouted his mouth while stomping his feet. As he continued to pulled the sword out.

"Pick it up! I was just playing with you." Wang Chao smiled. "I just wanted to test you that's all" Wang Chao said while looking to the distant. He was remembering when his father was still alive, he had a test for Wang Chao. It was the same as this but a lot harder. It tested your will not to give up.

Lu Cheng nodded and picked up the sword. "It's light! Not like before." Lu Cheng said as he was swinging the sword around.

"Are you ready to fight?" Wang Chao said. "And also to pass my test you need to rescue your people out of the village while defending them! got it?" Wang Chao added.

Lu Cheng nodded and said. "But i can't take them all by myself!"

"Who said your alone? I'll save you when it's a little bit dangerous!" Wang Chao smiled.

Lu Cheng nodded. They were already so close to the village and their mission is to only rescue the villagers.

At the battlefield some goblins noticed two humans walking towards them.

"Hey you three get those two humans over there! Kill them!" A commander ordered and pointed at the two humans.

"Yes sir!" The three goblins nodded then dashed to where the two human was. And they arrive next to them and surrounded them.

"Hey you two human being! Stop! Can't you see this is the goblins territory!" The goblin leading them said while pulling out his club, same for the other 2 goblins they pulled out their own club.

"You know what to do right?" One of the human said while looking at the kid next to him.

The kid nodded and pulled out his sword. "I know what to do!" the kid said. The two humans were Lu Cheng and Wang Chao they were currently heading to the village while being relax. Until the three goblins showed up.

"Hurry up and rescue them and let's go back! I'm tired" Wang Chao yawned. They were all small fries nothing to get worked up about it! That would be just bullying for a martial artist like Wang Chao.

"But the level difference between levels!" Lu Cheng asked his concern. He was tense right now. He was only level 7, while the goblins was level 15 he could not cover the gap with his power alone.

"Levels? Who said that was a problem? Just use the sword." Wang Chao casually said. Lu Cheng hesitated then he dashed on one of the goblins. He tightly hold the sword and slash the goblin.

Slash! Boom!

The goblin was slashed into two and following that the ground behind the goblin had a crevice. When Lu Cheng saw that he was stunned, same for the other goblins.

Wang Chao smiled and thought. "It's powerful than i thought! Well that's a God grade treasure after all." Wang Chao shrugged his shoulder.

At this moment Lu Cheng woke up from his daze state. "SO POWERFUL! Master where did you get this sword from?!" Lu Cheng didn't even think it was a God grade weapon. Because those were only a myth in a small village after all.

"Somewhere in a tomb." Wang couldn't tell that he got it from the Dragon God den. That might arouse attention.

"Master your so lucky!" Lu Cheng said enviously.

When the two goblins saw that one of them was cut easily the one leading them commanded to retreat. Wang Chao noticed this and said. "Hey they are getting away! Hurry before its too late."

Lu Cheng nodded and dashed towards them and caught up. He slashed horizontally and cut the two goblins into two parts. Wang Chao merely watched and he was impressed that this kid was so fast.

"Master all done!" Lu Cheng smiled and he gave a thumbs up.

"What? You want a compliment from me? Try harder next time! Beside that was just half the job." Wang Chao pointed at the village where there was so many goblins. Lu Cheng flinched and looked at the thousands of goblins.

Lu Cheng sighed. "This is gonna be a pain in the a*s! But thank God I have this sword! I don't have to be afraid!" Lu Cheng smiled and he looked at the sword.

"What if you get exhausted?" Wang Chao asked.

"Don't worry Master! I trained my body since i was 5 years old." Lu Cheng spoke proudly. He wanted to become a knight after all!

Wang Chao nodded and he continued walking towards the village, Lu Cheng followed behind him. When they got near at the village the goblins attacked endlessly. But all was cut downed by Lu Cheng with a swing of his sword.

When they arrived at the gate. The commander of the Goblin hurriedly said. "Archers! Take aim and fire! Don't let them in!" all 300 archers formed a horizontal line on top of the gate and they take aim and they all fired. 300 arrows rained down towards Wang Chao and Lu Cheng.

Wang Chao raised his arm casually and said. "Mana Shield." He used his Mana to create a shield that was enough to protect both of them. All the arrow the hit the shield but did nothing.

"Lu Cheng, can you take out those archers?" Wang Chao asked Lu Cheng.

"I can't get close to them. I might even die." Lu Cheng was a little exhausted when he was fighting earlier.

Wang Chao nodded. "Then I'll take them out. You go ahead first" said as he disappeared. Wang Chao use teleport next to an archer. He grabbed the neck of the archer in front of him and snapped his neck.

Crack!

You could hear bones shattering and, the body falling down with a thud. "Go now kid!" Wang Chao shouted. Lu Cheng nodded and charge to the group of goblins and was heading to where they held the people prisoners. The 299 archers took their aim at Lu Cheng but was stopped by Wang Chao.

Wang Chao threw punches at the goblins in front of him. All the 299 archers changed their target to Wang Chao and they all release their arrows, but Wang Chao maneuvered out of the arrows range that was fired. All the goblin archers was stunned by that impossible stunt. Lu Cheng was also stunned for a second when he caught sight of that stunt. All 299 arrows missed just like that.

Lu Cheng murmured to himself . "What a monster!" As he continued slashing his sword at the goblins in front of him. Killing them in one fell swoop!

When Wang Chao finish dodging the arrows he charged at one of the goblin archer. He hit the goblin in the face and sent it flying. One of the goblins at his back took out his dagger and was preparing to back stab at Wang Chao. Wang Chao reacted and grabbed the wrist of the goblin and he twisted it, he threw a punch straight at the goblin face, and blood splattered.

"That was a nice try! but it's the oldest trick in the book!" Wang Chao said. (Then what about that time when you were tricked by Lu Cheng?! Wang Chao. "...")

Wang Chao continued on his onslaught! He punched! He kicked! He dodge! And he kill. He only stopped until all archers was wiped out! The foot soldiers that was charging at Wang Chao stopped they were all was stupefied, And so was the commander. Wang Chao then teleported behind Lu Cheng and followed behind him.

"Hurry go tell his majesty there's a dangerous foe currently heading towards the prisoners!" The commander told the foot soldier.

"Yes!" The foot soldier then ran as fast as he could, to where the Goblin king was staying at.

At this moment Lu Cheng arrived at the house where the villagers was held. He opened the door and noticed that there were some men too (Not what you think it is pls! >.<). At this moment when they saw that Lu Cheng arrived they celebrated.

"Thank God! Someone is here to save us!"

"Lu Cheng! Hurry help us escape!"

"Thank you! Lu Cheng!"

All the villagers were excited that they saw someone saving them. Lu Cheng on the other hand was looking for his mother he was anxious to see if she was still alive! He stopped at this moment (To see a dead body of his mother! Just Kidding!) to see his mother crying when she saw her dear child was still alive.

"MOM!" Lu Cheng excitedly shouted as he charge to his mother embrace.

"Little Cheng! Why are you here?" His mother said as she got out from his embrace and asked.

"It's okay mom! We are here to rescue you!" Lu Cheng smiled and said to his mother.

"We? Are the knights here to rescue us?" His mother asked excitedly.

"Knights?" Lu Cheng had dark lines on his face. He couldn't forget what happened that time.

When the villagers heard this, they were dispirited! They lost their hope from a single word from Lu Cheng! They thought Lu Cheng was here in a suicide mission. They sighed.

"There's no knight coming to rescue?" His mother said. And she hurriedly pushed Lu Cheng and said. "Little Cheng go now! While there's still time!" She said with concern.

"Yeah! go little Cheng take the children with you to safety! Escape as fast as you can."

"Yeah! Take my children with you too."

"Mine too!"

"Ah? No! I have a backup it's okay!" Lu Cheng hurriedly clear up the misunderstanding. He pointed at a suave and handsome looking young man.

"What? that's bullsh*t! That's only one young man! He can't protect us all"

"Yeah! That's bullsh*t!"

"Yeah!"

All the villagers was disappointed when they saw a young man! He was probably weaker than the goblin king is what they thought.

Wang Chao was stunned by the disappointed looks given by the villagers. He sighed and shook his head. He knew he would be exactly like this if he saw a young man coming to rescue them.

"Ah?! No his pretty strong himself!" Lu Cheng was also stupefied at this scene. 'Don't they have complete trust on people rescuing them?' Lu Cheng thought to himself.

When they heard Lu Cheng said that he was pretty strong, They looked at Wang Chao again. And hesitantly nodded. They wanted to escape from this place no matter what the cost! They still want to grab that tiny light of hope.

"Anyway! We don't have much time! We need to get out of here!' Lu Cheng hurriedly informed the people. "We'll cover you! When you make an escape!" Lu Cheng added.

"But what about you?!" His mother said worriedly. Some of the villagers also agreed to what she said.

"Don't worry! I'm strong enough to take you all to a safe place!" Lu Cheng said. He was showing his manly side. The girls at his age and teenagers was awe to see that display of confidence!

"Hurry! There's no time left! Let's get out of this place when we still have-" Lu Cheng was about to finished speaking when he was suddenly interrupted.

"Roar! Filthy humans! You dare take away my prisoners?!" The Goblin king angrily said. When they heard this shout they were tensed (Except Wang Chao)! That was the Goblin King himself. They lost hope when they heard that roar.

"It's over!"

"We can't make our escape!"

"We're done for!"

The villagers lost all hope when the Goblin king arrived. Lu Cheng was also tensed when the Goblin King arrived. At this moment Wang Chao broke the silence atmosphere.

"Hehe... You did well little Cheng! You passed my test!" Wang Chao smiled and said.

"Ah?! Why are you saying that now?" Lu Cheng was stupefied. He did not even lead the villagers to safety yet!

"Sigh! We need to get out of here. So we don't get anymore trouble." Wang Chao was stressed right now. He didn't want to interfere much with problems like this unless it's needed.

"But! How? We've been cornered!" Lu Cheng hurriedly asked. 'How are we going to get out of this mess?' Lu Cheng thought to himself of course he didn't completely trust his master to help them out in this mess.

"Simple!" Wang Chao snapped his finger and they all disappeared from the house. They vanish into thin air.

When the Goblins and the Goblin king saw that, They were dumbfounded. They were just gone just like that?!
