Furry Morning

Though Mihi said that she'll move on and will be happy in her life, it was easier said than done. laying on her bed, She was still in a daze after what happened today. As she thought of her old life with Abhi, she could not help but cry silently. was it her fault, she wasn't the one who chased after him and forcing himself inside her heart. she was scared of being left alone so she never opened her heart to anyone. But when she did all her fears once again came true.

With all off the things happening in her life and her condition she soon dozed off with tears to dry in her cheeks. Unbeknownst to her a silhouette entered her room and and without making any sound he made his way towards her bed and sat beside her. he bent down and kissed her forehead and murmured softly, " it was my fault for giving you up for that bastards. I am sorry that I could not save you from getting hurt. I am so so sorry. But I promise to treasure you from now on. and as for that bastard, I will make him pay for every teardrop left your eyes." And placed another kiss on her forehead. He went to the wash room to get wet towel and wiped her tear stained face. tucking her in a more comfortable position he covered her and went out of the room.

That night Mihira had no dreams or nightmare in her sleep. She slept with an empty mind but in her sleep she heard a very familiar voice which she could not point out was who's whispering to her, saying calming words to her she didn't hear them clearly, But it left a warm feeling in her heart.

In the morning the first thing greeted her was a wet feeling in her whole face. Frowning a little when she opened her eyes the scene was very nostalgic for her it was like she was back into her college days when no heartbreak and other crap happened to her. That same face who woke her up every day was in front of her. If it was some one else then that person would have freaked out of wits by the big Blue German Shepherd but it did nothing but it did nothing but made Mihi happiest person in this world. She smiled brightly at him and hugged him tightly.

They both were greatly overwhelmed seeing each other after almost a year. The dog was howling loudly and complaining her master for not coming to her for a long time. And Mihira being the person to have brought up the giant dog from an itty bitty puppy understood almost everything she did.

"Zey! my baby, I missed you so much! Oh! Zey I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry for leaving you behind!" She cried out and hugged her tightly.Seeing her master crying like that made her heart broken she nudged at her face and started licking her all over. Seeing Zey making efforts to make her happy mad her smile.

She felt so guilty for leaving Zey behind. She thought, 'I was with her for only two years but she is still loves me unconditionally and is loyal towards me, but the person for whom l left all of her loved ones behind and was living with for almost 5 years wasn't even able to be loyal towards me. Was I really that blind to not see this before.' "I am sorry Zay and I promise that I will never ever leave you behind for anyone at any cost!" The dog barked as if agreeing to her words and again started licking her and jumping at her furiously.

She was feeling ticklish and started laughing, "Hahaha! oh stop that it tickles!" For a moment she forgot all her worries just by being with him. After a while she remembered something and peting Zey's head she calmed her a little and said, "oh Zay, slow down and meet your baby sibling!" As if curious of what her master was about to say she tilted her head adorably. Mihi pulled her head closer to her lower belly and said with a smile," you're soon gonna have a baby sister or a baby brother to play with."

Theses adorable, furry cute little (well something not so little) animals which we keep with us are counted as one of the most intelligent animals in the whole world. Just like others Zey wasn't an exception. He sniffed her belly and licking it once he stopped jumping on her and laid down in front of her.

After staying like that for a while. Mihi went to take a shower. She was feeling a lot better than yesterday. She changed onto a comfortable dress and went to the breakfast table. When she reached there she saw Divya eating his breakfast with a phone in hand. She without thinking twice went to his side and snatched the phone out of his hand.

"Do I have to remind you about the rules!?" She asked him sternly.

Surrendering to her he said, "Sorry it won't happen again." he took a pause smiling he said, "Well why does it feel that our roles have changed here? A few years back it was me telling you not use your phone while eating."

"Hmm! I was quite an addict. But these things are nothing to catch my attention now I am never ever gonna give my first priority to anything or anyone but my family!"

"So how was your morning!" Divya skillfully changed the subject to not to make her emotional again.

reminiscing how she woke up she smiled brightly and looked at her favorite furry animal she patted her head, "it was the best morning ever! Oh! what's for breakfast? I am starving!" She cried. Just as she opened lid of the nearest bowl to check what's in it nausea hit her, she covered her mouth and ran to the nearest washroom and started throwing up.

Divya ran behind her and stroked her back to sooth her. After emptying her stomach she stood up. And washed her face. Divya who was really scared to see her like that ran to bring some water for her. After passing her the glass he again stroked her back.

After slowly gulping down the water she passed glass back to him just to hear a long list of questions "are you alright? what happened? are you uncomfortable anywhere Oh wait I'll call the doctor."

She slowly smiled at him, 'here goes the worry wart.' and weakly replied, "no need it's just morning sickness, can you ask someone to remove the eggplant curry from the table."

Confusedly nodding Divya asked her "But it's one of your favorite food what happened?"

"Baby happened!" She said with a sour face and stroked her belly, "This little one doesn't let me eat peacefully at all! it didn't even let me have my favorite berries yesterday." she sulked.

Divya smiling patted her head lightly and asked her, "you sure you don't wanna see a doctor?"

She touched the hand that was patting her head and sweetly replied, "I am very sure. now let's go and eat I am starving." she said and hurriedly went back to the dining room.

as they are smiling to each other they both were hiding there deepest pain behind there smiles for themselves...
