"Where is she?" Zevon demanded, turning to fix Gemi with a death glare.
Gemi winced visibly at Zevon's cold, harsh tone.
It had already been hours since Chantria had left the castle, it was the evening hours now and Chantria was yet to return.
Though Gemi knew Chantria was in safe hands with Prince Dewei, given the current state of Chantria's health, Gemi still could not help but worry.
Gemi had been busy mulling over what to do if Chantria did not return within the next hour, but she had not expected the Lords would come at this time.
"I..." Gemi stuttered, knowing Chantria would not wish for her to inform the lords of her absence.
"Gemi, do not make me repeat myself." Zevon warned in a low, deadly tone.
Gemi's eyes widened in alarm and she glanced around uncertainly, but realizing there was no one to come to her aid, she gave in.
