Beasts to Beauties: A Mother's Unearthly Gift

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. When she looked at what she had given birth to, she was shocked. Eggs. She had given birth to eggs. And there were six. What happened to the eggs? How did their journey begin? read the full novel. update time:6:00pm *by love gold*

the sour mood Sona

The Ladies Room Department.

The whole floor in the Sona's room department was frozen.

"Be careful with the way you pour water on the ground, I'm tired of freezing it," Snow said to Sona, suppressing her smile.

Sona erupted into loud laughter, watching as Sona soaked her head in a large bowl of water.

"Poor, poor baby girl. Your beauty has been tarnished. We will finally have some peace and be free from the constant praise of your beauty for a while," Snow covered her mouth to stifle a laugh.

Sona lifted her head slightly, with water draining from her unattractively colored hair, a foul odor filling the room. "Why didn't you guys let Cat follow us?" Sona voice chocked in regret. "I wouldn't have ended up like this if she was here," Sona said, her voice sounding on the brink of tears, her expression ugly.

"You have only yourself to blame, not us," Snow replied, struggling to contain her amusement.

Sona glanced at the two ladies. "I've been transformed like this because of my love for Mother; the hair color is just too ugly." Tears finally escaped her eyes.

Snow couldn't contain her laughter any longer, observing the way Sona looked now.

Sonia joined in the laughter. "Who asked you to join the entertainment class? You should have declined the competition if you couldn't cope."

"What do we do? Our beauty goddess, once so proud of her beautiful hair, now has dyed her hair a hideous black, diminishing her beauty," Snow laughed raucously.

Sona, controlling her tears, immersed her hair back into the water with frustration.

The two ladies laughed.

Miss Maggie's House.

Late at night.

Miss Maggie, experiencing a headache, rubbed her forehead in confusion. "I don't understand what happened after we went there. I couldn't pinpoint it," she said.

"Maybe you lost focus due to the rejection. Don't you try to maintain a good image in front of the director so that he can say a few impressive words for you in front of the principal?" a female teacher asked.

Miss Maggie sighed. "I did, I even said more than needed. While they rejected the remaining students, that girl Sona was close to being accepted. That's all I could recall; everything else is a blur."

"Your luck has been tarnished once again. What will happen now?" the teacher, Simi, inquired.

"I don't know," Miss Maggie said, massaging her aching head. "I've missed another opportunity. I don't even know if Sona was rejected as well. Why am I so unlucky?"

Simi consoled, "Why don't you just ask her? Perhaps she will give you a positive answer."

Miss Maggie shook her head. "I'm certain I was present during the process. If I ask her about the outcome, won't she question if I was asleep then?"

Simi sighed, "Then let's wait for another opportunity."

"I'm tired of failing every time. None of my students have ever been contracted. Won't the school be tired of my repeated failures and chase me away? If that happens, how will I continue to survive? How will I take care of you?" Tears welled up in Miss Maggie's eyes.

Simi hugged Miss Maggie. "Don't dwell on it too much. I believe things will work out. Perhaps Sona will respond to your questions. Besides, the school doesn't tolerate students mistreating teachers, so rest assured things will turn out positive." She consoled Miss Maggie.

Miss Maggie nodded, "Alright, I'll take your advice and give it a try."

Smiling, Simi turned off the light. "It's late already. Let's get some sleep."

The next day, Sona was summoned to Miss Maggie's office. Despite her hair returning to its original color, Sona maintained an unhappy expression, contemplating the possibility of having to dye her hair again.

Miss Maggie nervously gulped and observed the sour mood in Sona. She silently wondered if Sona had also been rejected and wasn't feeling well.

"Why did you call me here, Miss Maggie?" Sona asked, growing impatient with the silence.

Clearing her throat awkwardly, Miss Maggie explained, "I just wanted to ask if you were chosen by OM Entertainment Industry for a role. Don't overthink it; I had a headache yesterday, and I wasn't fully focused, which is why I may have missed some details."

Sona's mood soured even further. "She called me here just for this? Is this some form of indirect mockery?" she thought to herself.

Upon seeing Sona's reaction, Miss Maggie felt heartbroken. "It seems she was rejected. Maybe her acting skills aren't as impressive as her beauty," she thought to herself. Providing a reassuring smile, Miss Maggie said, "Don't worry, you've just joined our class. Success won't come immediately, but I'm sure you'll excel in the future." She sought to console both Sona and herself.

Sona was speechless but didn't say anything. "Can I go back now? I am not feeling well," she said in a low spirit.

"No problem," Miss Maggie nodded, and Sona left.

After Sona left, Miss Maggie rubbed her forehead. "The future is bright." she consoled herself.

Technology Department, Class A:

Vivian was staring at Snow, who was busy with her laptop, typing so fast that Vivian couldn't figure out what she was typing. Vivian admired Snow and her skilled typing, her gaze filled with admiration.

"What's the matter?" Snow suddenly asked.

"Um... will you eat chocolate?" Vivian asked awkwardly.

Snow raised her head and looked at Vivian. "Thanks, but I don't like sweets," she replied with a comfortable smile on her lips.

Vivian blinked and found the courage to say the words she had wanted to say all this while. "Snow, I want to be your friend," she said sincerely.

Snow chuckled and continued typing. "Why are you so sure that I will accept your request?" She asked.

"You don't seem to dislike me like others do. I know you have a good heart, and for you to be sitting beside me is a great honor," Vivian said with a happy smile.

Snow stopped her work and looked at Vivian's smile. "She is just as pitiful as mother," she thought to herself and took Vivian's laptop. "Not a big deal, you can be my friend," she replied, helping Vivian operate her laptop.

Vivian was so happy that she hugged Snow. "Thank you!" she laughed happily.

Snow merely smiled in return. "Tell me, why are you here at the back?" she asked while her eyes were fixed on what she was doing.

Vivian scratched the back of her head. "I'm not that intelligent, so I have to rely on my family's money to continue schooling," she replied, feeling embarrassed.

Snow nodded and returned Vivian's laptop. "You have me now, no worries. I will help you with tests and exams. I promise that no one will look down on you again," she said, patting Vivian's head. "I'll make sure of that."

Vivian nodded and smiled happily. She hugged Snow again. "Right! My birthday party will be a grand celebration. I invite you to come. Will you join?" she asked Snow with a pleading gaze.

Snow was silent for a moment. "When is it?" she asked.

"Next month, at my house. Will you come?" Vivian inquired.

Snow nodded. "Not a problem, I'll be there," she replied.

"Yay!" Vivian laughed happily. "I will personally welcome you," Vivian continued excitedly, "but just a heads up, you should wear a mask that day. My big brother can be a bit over the top when it comes to beauty." She warned Snow with a playful smile.

Snow nodded in understanding. "No worries, I'll keep that in mind. I've already completed the classwork for you. You just need to submit it. I'll explain it to you slowly in case you're asked how to do it later," Snow assured Vivian.

"Yes, I must not be a dullard so that Snow won't despise me," Vivian thought to herself, feeling determined to learn. Her determination was evident on her face as she nodded in agreement.

The whole class witnessed the heartwarming interaction between Vivian and Snow, and their hearts were filled with envy at the blossoming friendship.
