Chapter Seventeen: Kairo Ashe

The giant beast stood before me as I fell on my ass to his sudden closeness and my heart racing like crazy.

I've seen him in my dream but never thought he could be this massive. To him, I'm probably the size of a rabbit.

I couldn't move as he pulled off a threatening aura. My whole body is frozen, and nothing can come out of my mouth. He looks like he went from that Underworld movie but much larger than a lycan.

Is that what he is?

A Lycan?

It explains him standing like a human, with no wolf paws but human hands, very muscular and furry. At least he's wearing pants. I don't want to be terrified and scarred for the rest of my life when a naked wolf-man is in front of me.

The beast lowers his head, revealing his canine teeth and sniffing my scent. I closed my eyes, waiting for him to do something like killing me, but when I didn't feel a thing, I opened my eyes, and suddenly a half-naked man stood in front of me, making me blush.
