Responsibility

"As you know, females normally have at least 5 mates but here we are." Feng Huang raised his hand for me to hold it.

Gently I placed my hand on top of his and he said.

"A little female, without a single mate, living isolated without her rights."

He then frowned looking at our hands joined.

This made me try to take it away but he stoped me holding my hand.

"This little female told me about how she choose not to participate on the campfire but after that you rascals isolated her."

With his hand on his forehead he let out a "Haa" and stood up.

"But master, she wasn't in need of anything."

Well, that is true, but it was suffocating to be monitored 24/7 by them. To say the truth, the reason why I didn't develop any feelings for them was because of the constant pressure, there was no time to fall in love because I was always trying to run out of their lock.

"Where did you find her? For what I know the exchange was of 5 females, not 6"

Semion came forward and told Feng Huang how he found me after I escaped a feral cave and that I always lived alone.

Feng Huang was livid and raised his voice at them.

"So you took advantage of a kidnapped little female and did the same exact thing as the feral!" With this both Levi and Semion lowered their heads like children receiving a scolding.

With his other hand he started pointing at them like an aunt scolding children.

"Preposterous I say! How could you!"

This is getting serious, if anything I was the one who took advantage of them living rent free.

"Feng Huang..." I said holding his wrist with my free hand. "It's alright, please calm down." I smiled at him trying to show that I was ok and that it was ok.

But this only made him angrier.

"You rascals, saw that she was innocent and gentle and took advantage!"

Levi opened his mouth to say something but gave up and kept listening.

Soon Ishid came back with water and for my surprise, my shoes. He hastily transformed back after seeing the situation, coming straight up to me and grabbing the wrist of the hand that was in Feng Huang grasp.

"She is my female..." Ishid can be so stupid sometimes, I tell you.

"Oho... the wolf cub is back and is showing its baby teeth."

Feng Huang talk like he is a grampa but he looks so young, at this point I already gave up on reasoning the situation.

"You geezer, she already accepted me."

Hearing this Feng Huangs other hand griped Ishids wrist making him let go and fall to his knees.

Then he started touching my body and inspecting it making me tremble. It isn't a sensual touch but... ok I admit it, I'm weak for looks.

"I don't see a single mating mark on her."

Ishids grinding his teeth got up glaring at Feng Huang.

"She accepted me, we just didn't mate yet."

Levi an Semion faces went pale, for starters, the way Ishid is talking to Feng Huang is unprecedented and dangerous.

Secondly, when did he have time to advance to the point of being accepted by her, without anyone knowing.

But Feng Huang knew better, he laughed loudly and then sneered at Ishid.

"Are you talking about how you went into a rut and pounced her yesterday?"

Well that is embarrassing, he saw everything?

My face heated up making me look down to let my falling hair cover my face.

It was a good try but seeing my movements Feng Huang lifted my face making me look at him with my bright red face.

"Poor thing, is too gentle to know the ways of the world. Even after hearing about everything you three did she was more preoccupied with that rascal wellbeing."

Releasing me he turned to grab Ishid by his neck raising him from the ground. Ishid made some grunting sounds as he is in pain he resisted the grip in his neck but to no avail. Feng Huang with great force send Ishid flying making him crash against a tree that with the impact broke and fell on top of him.

"Oh god!" I yelled running in his direction just to be stoped by Levi.

He raised me making me sit on his arm and with his other hand he pressed my head on his chest blocking my sight of the fight.

All I could hear was Ishid pained voice, flesh being beaten and the sound of his body crashing into our surroundings.

Levi whispered in my ear "He knew this would happen." and stayed still without aiding his friend.

At some point the sounds stoped, but I could hear the sound of someone, probably Feng Huang, coming at our direction.

"Little female don't even know when it's dangerous, look at her folded like a armadillo trembling just at the sounds."

Levi finally released my head letting me see the fate Ishid paid for.

"Oh no... Ishid."

He is sprawled on the floor unconscious, blood flowing from his wounds wetting the grass. The scene made me start crying, the three of them were getting on my nerves but that was it, they were all caring and took really good care of me... this just happened to him because of me.

"Why, this is too cruel..." I said with tears falling down my cheeks. The arms that were holding me tensed up, Levi hands started patting my back.

'Look how sweet they are...'

This made me cry harder, I leaned my head on his chest and just cried my eyes out.

Feng Huang just let out a sigh and said.

"I will come back later to pick her up, say your good byes."
