Lucas's expression was filled with sadness and frustration. "Sir, is there really no other way?"

Lucas clenched his teeth and said, "Please, sir, save my wife and protect my child. I'm willing to pay any price and pledge my eternal loyalty to you!"

"Good, let's sign this contract then. You've dealt with demons before, you know they like contracts. I don't believe in promises, only in black and white on paper." Chris took out a contract written with ancient incantations, detailing everything.

Lucas took a look at it. Chris would save his wife and child, but the contract also stated the potential consequences and side effects for his wife.

It was all agreed upon in advance. The price was that Lucas would become Chris's slave forever, bound to serve his master without any thoughts of betrayal, sacrificing his soul!

This was a contract offered by the Conqueror Store, and it required the sincere consent of both parties to sign. If there was even a trace of hesitation, the contract couldn't be successfully signed.

It demanded that the signatory had already been tamed, and the contract added an extra layer of insurance to ensure the slave would never rebel, only remain loyal forever.

Seeing Lucas hesitate, Chris directly took back the contract.
