Kai was just thinking about how he could prove the people underestimating their team wrong. He didn't expect his inquiry to get answered this soon. 

He finally had the chance to prove these people wrong. 

Jinping frowned in confusion. 

"Kai?" he couldn't help but ask. "He's not even on the team." 

Zeren, too, looked visibly upset since Lina had a huge smile on her face just as Yuze announced that Kai was going to be their Power Forward for the game. 

"This is a practice game," Yuze remarked. "I can have someone from the second-string team play if I want to. Besides, there is no other player on the team that resembles Shang apart from him." 

"He's even bigger than Shang," Jet muttered. 

Yuze ignored their murmurs and looked Kai straight into his eyes. 

"Are you up for the challenge?" he asked. 

Kai smirked as he stood, shaking his arms to get rid of any nervousness in his body.
