Lin Ge looked up at the wall clock hanging on the wall.
It was almost time to close.
Ten minutes to go.
Lanya had been out with Canell for over an hour, and it was about time for them to come back.
Just as he was thinking this, the wind chimes at the entrance rang, the shop door opened, and Lanya led Canell back to the shop.
"How was it? The world on that side?" Lin Ge asked with a smile.
Canell's expression was one of great excitement, and even through the thick lenses, Lin Ge could see the twinkle in her deep purple eyes.
"It's fantastic, just like a perfect world," Canell, clenching her fists, said, "No damned magic, no unreasonably strange phenomena, no ghosts directly naming the murderer, and no terrible alchemy! Such a world, it's just like a detective's ideal world!"
Canell's eyes sparkled as she spoke, growing more and more excited.
As for the original world filled with magic and sorcery, peculiarities and ghosts, as well as the vile alchemy, she was fed up with it.
