Survival

Thale has been running and fighting, in and out of different cave systems. He begins to wonder why he is doing this. Is this for survival? Is this for rewards. Can he give up, should he give up! Why do all these cultivators listen to the voice. What if they all stop. Many thought running through his head. 

The sun was just starting to rise over the horizon, casting an orange glow over the vast wilderness. Thales had been running for hours, with cultivators hot on his trail. He had been relying on his intuition, dodging traps and ambushes as he went. His energy was running low, and he was starting to feel the effects of exhaustion.

Just as he was about to take a break, he heard the sound of footsteps echoing in the distance. He quickly scanned his surroundings, searching for a place to hide. He spotted a rocky outcropping in the distance and made a dash for it.
