"Grams please if I need a boyfriend I will ask certainly not your recommendations.....
"Ma'am, your guests have arrived" the guy who served them champagne came in interrupting Maggie. She has to pause.
"Sure let go" Grams stood up and led the way, Maggie tapped the waiter on his shoulder and then whispered for another flute of champagne.
"Another glass of champagne please" he nodded going to fetch her one.
She didn't like the fact of being attacked firstly with a boy coming to dinner they are usually the education prep talk, She wished they had bored her with school talks or politics rather than being so cordial with this guest coming over, regretting her outfit why she wore it in the first place.
"Hello" Maggie watched her grams and welcomed the Patrick's, She quickly noticed Collin Patrick, She shut her eyes hoping it wasn't a dream of how handsome he looked. Sharp edges and smells nice.
They were hugging each other before Maggie's glass of champagne came in but Grandma cut in.
"Please another glass for Collin here" She took the champagne from Maggie handing it to mr Patrick, who is Collin's grandfather. Collin smiled at her it seemed like he knew She wasn't allowed to drink so much alcohol.
To be honest we know Maggie is a socialite but Collin is a Prince Charming, a tall figure with dark skin and she was a fair-skinned girl, the perfect duo He's tattooed snaking upwards to his throat and hands had a few.
They all sat down the food was already served all they had to do was dish onto their respective plates on what preference they'd like, Maggie sat opposite Collin well Grams made her, She usually sat opposite them now She was sitting behind them and opposite Collin.
Maggie was a little nervous because he was older than her if not twenty-four she maximised it by twenty-two.
The way he talks is so calm and his hands move every time he talks.
MAGGIE POV
Not only were ribs served there was also caviar, I was watching how grams treated them with so much respect which means they must be important, we don't usually have caviar not that it wasn't there I didn't care either Chris or Travis but it was an important thing to grams they fancy it a lot, one-time biebie didn't serve it at the event she invited them they were so upset.
"Maggie is applying for Yale to study law, she has more than a hundred thousand followers on YouTube you should check it out Collin we are featured in a few of them" Maggie felt attacked, is always a flex on African homes to brag about their daughters.
"Gram I appreciate it, but now is not the time," I said calmly, filling my glass with the alcoholic wine in front of me, like I always do sneaking home with a bottle of champagne because I wasn't allowed to drink to my satisfaction.
Maggie watched Patrick and her grandfather discuss politics she has ideas on politics so she shared some headlights the only people that were quiet were Collin and grandmother.
Maggie didn't say much at the dinner but had to pass on Collin just because they were from her grams, he's only going to treat her right, put her in a crown, no sex till they are married as she anticipated and she doesn't want to be one of those girls that have sex behind their back making her look like a whore.
It was time for Collin to introduce himself well I had my share of him from grams.
Turned out Collin just bought an apartment and planning to move in sooner.
