Deren's Cry 3

For a year the two lovebirds, Aria and Siti lived together and got married secretly without the slightest news coming out. In order to live in peace from outside disturbances, Aria and Siti chose to live in a city on the eastern tip of Java Island, the city name is Banyuwangi.

Banyuwangi was a city that was not very crowded in that year, 1978. The population range only reached 887.340 people, but Banyuwangi is famous for its Ketapang Harbor which connects the island of Java and Bali. The culture in the city is very diverse, starting from Javanese, Balinese, Madurese, Malay, European, Arabic, Chinese, and the indigenous culture of the local population, namely the Osing Culture – from the Osing Tribe who first occupied the Banyuwangi region.

Aria and Siti chose to live in Banyuwangi because of their cultural and regional wisdom that is close to Bali. They think that if they need an atmosphere of entertainment when they are tired, they can immeditely go to Bali without being noticed because they can use land routes. Aria has already gotten a lot of experience with spying on people from the detective who was hired by him while looking for Siti's whereabouts.

In this city, Aria opened a grocery store connected to their private residence. A simple but happy life, that's what they want right now. Moreover, at that time Siti was pregnant with their first child, adding to their gratitude for the life that God had given them both.

But that happy life is only for a moment. Amid the warmth of the family that they built from scratch, instantly destroyed nothing left. Of the hundreds of private detectives hired by the Sumarja Family, one of them finds ther presence in the city. Quickly, all the families who received the news immediately took action, especially the Sumarja Main Family, who mobilized all ther personal bodyguards to go to escort the Sumarja Family to Banyuwangi. They departed simultaneously from Surabaya to Banyuwangi just to pick up Aria directly to return to their family.

On arrival in Banyuwangi, Aria, hearing that his family had found their whereabouts, quickly informed Siti and asked her to pack up and leave the city of Banyuwangi. However, the information he received was late, the Sumarja family with hundreds of bodyguards at that time had surrounded and forcibly closed the road which was the main access route for the entry and exit of vehicles in the village.

Sumarja's family, who saw Aria and Siti carrying the big suitcase, immediately ordered all their bodyguards to separate them, and forcibly pulled Aria into the car of one of their bodyguards. Siti, who at that time shouted and cried out loud asking for Aria to be returned, inviting the villagers to curiosity around their residence. Siti, who could only stare at Aria's departure, continued to sob, and finally fainted due to the severe shock she felt.

Since the incident, Aria was thrown back abroad and married directly to Magdalena Oey with great fanfare by both families. Siti's whereabouts are also unknown, because a week after Aria was forcibly picked up by her family, Siti sold all assets that were in her name. When Aria brought the property and built the grocery store, Aria was already planning to give everything to Siti in case something happened to him. All the finances that Aria brought after disappearing with Siti, were transferred to Siti's name for her provision with her child who will grow up if Aria dies.

Nine month passed, finally Siti gave birth to a cute boy. Siti takes care of ther only son with Siti's father and mother in their hometown of Tulung Agung, East Java. They were happy with the presence of the baby boy, who was named Deren. However, 5 years have passed, Siti looks pale every day due to leukemia and it has been 1 year running. Due to her longing for Aria, and the prolonged stress, the disease quickly grew and eventually made Siti die when Deren 5 years old. Before Siti died she wrote a will to the Sumarja family that she gave birth to a son as a result of Aria and Siti's marriage. She also wrote that her life would not be long after writing the letter, and asked Aria to take care of the child who was the result of their love. Sumarja's family who received Siti's letter panicked, and immediately informed Aria. Aria, who is now officially the legal heir of all assets owned by the Sumarja Family, becomes furious and threatens to destroy them all if something happens to Siti and her son, no matter if it is his own sibling.

Aria's father and mother were actually happy with the news that Aria had a son when they were with Siti, because 5 years of marriage, Aria and Magdalena were not blessed with a child because Magdalena could not conceive because she was infertile. Besides that, they are also worried that Aria's threat will come true, because in the letter it was written that Siti had a disease that would make her live soon. That means something will happen with Siti, which makes Aria furious. Because they are the ones who make Siti suffer from the disease due to high stress. Aria, who knew the contents of the letterm immediately went to pick up Siti and her son, but what was unexpected was that Siti had the disease, she was not there, accompanying her to the end of her life. Aria didn't want to be dissolved in the sadness that would blind him, he immediately asked for permission from his father and mother-in-law to take Deren with him and take care of Deren well.

Deren was brought to the Sumarja Family Residence and introduced Deren to the other families. At the same time announcing that in addition to the company's shareholders, Aria as the President Director and the largest shareholder, will remove all positions of his relatives in the company managed by the Sumarja family. It made all the families other than the Main Family shocked to death, and some even thought of ending their life.

"Then, what makes you not get along with your current mother?". Asked Arslan who was a little curious about Deren and Magdalena's relationship.

"You could say, it's because of unrequited love". Deren replied with an expression that suddenly changed.

"Wait, did that woman torture you?". Arslan asked again.

"Maybe like that..".

After the mass removal of office in the Sumarja Family, Aria became increasingly busy with his job. Because he must improve the organizational structure in all companies managed by hum. As a result, Deren, who was still a child, was left without Aria's supervision, only a nanny accompanied Deren every day. Only Magdalena's who meets Deren whenever she is at home, but Magdalena's attitude towards Deren does not reflect a loving mother.
