Amanda thought she was born this way, to be betrayed, and end up like a fool who doesn't know what it is to live like a powerful person. She only dreamed of living a simple life with Edmund, her fiancée. However, she didn't expect to be betrayed by someone she'd loved. She's lost everything but the precious ring her mother had given her. Knowing she couldn't let them have their way, she swallowed the ring before plunging to her death. However, she didn't expect to wake up in her room after her death. As she continues, she will be facing the same plot of her life. However, she will change it into a brand new life. But, as she goes on turning the tables. She will be encountering unexpected events that will make her change.
Chapter 8
As Simeon left, Amanda stared at the ceiling.
'He must have pleaded to grandfather about it,' she sat back,
'I hope Vidia would make it more interesting,'

"What?! Your grandfather actually accepted Shannon as part of the family?!" Vidia asked shocked
"Yep" Amanda spoke as she finished her ice cream
"So? You have a plan right?" Vidia looked at her.
"Of course. Before that, I'll tell you something shocking." Amanda's eyes glinted,
"What?" Vidia looked at her,
"It seems Shannon had an affair with my fiancée for a long time," Amanda explained.
Vidia looked at her, shocked at what she just heard,
"Those bastards!" Vidia slammed her ice cream cone on the asphalt,
"You just wasted food," Amanda scolded,
"Mandy! Didn't he know he was engaged to you? Yet he had an affair with a gold digger?!" Vidia ignored her comment,
"A scumbag and a gold digger. Don't they match for each other?" Amanda mused,
"Hold on. You were once obsessed with Edmund, what happened to you obsession?" Vidia bewildered,
"Not anymore. I can't forgive him" Amanda clutched her fist.
"You've changed a lot, Mandy." Vidia smiled.
Amanda grinned.

- Shannon
"This dress is so beautiful!" Shannon gasped,
"It looks good on you," Simeon smiled at her.
"Thank you, father. I've never had a dress like this!" Shannon said with joy,
"Why don't you show it to your sister and ask for her opinion?" Sabrina suggested.
'Humph! I can't wait to see your face as you see me in this dress, Amanda!' Shannon sneered.
She excitedly walked up to Amanda's room.
Unexpectedly, Shannon's heart was crushed as she walked into her room.
'How, is her room this elegant? Among all the bedrooms, her room is the most exquisite. Even if my father is the one who arranged it, it would never be this exquisite.'
Shannon clenched her fist as she continued to walk in and saw Amanda sitting in her bed scrolling through her phone.
She put on her smug look.
"Sister, how do I look?" Shannon asked,
"Good," Amanda said without looking at her.
'Ugh! How dare you ignore me!'
"Father bought it for me. It was from a famous design company. He said it's very expensive." Shannon smugly showed off.
But, Amanda didn't care.
Angry, Shannon boasted,
"I bet you never had any of this."
Amanda then looked at her, then smiled,
"I have clothes like that." She looked at her phone again,
"What do you mean? Even the richest people had to fight to have just one set of these clothes." Shannon objected.
"Not me," Amanda replied,
"You're so smug! You're just jealous because you never had any of this" Shannon chuckled.
Amanda smiled at her as she walked to the closet.
"Shannon, I heard that you just moved here so I would like to share some of my clothes as a big sister with you." Amanda flung open her closet.
Shannon's jaw dropped as she looked at her large walk-in closet full of the most exquisite clothes and jewelry.
'How come she had a lot of expensive clothes while I don't?' Shannon clenched her fist harder as she looked at Amanda full of jealousy.
"Here," Amanda pulled out five sets
"This also came from where your dress is made. I haven't been able to wear them because I had lots of options to wear and I can't choose"
Amanda gave a silly smile as she put the clothes on her bed for Shannon to see.
