Kingsley saw a message from Dylan asking him to drive Jocelyn back home

"That boy!" He thought shaking his head

When he got outside,he sighted someone aiming his gun at her from a distance

He run to her telling her to move away but when he saw that she wasn't moving out he increase his pace

He immediately he got to her hugging her,a sound of a gunshot could be heard

The bullet went straight into his arms making him to gasp at the pain,blood gush out from the area

Everyone in the area began to ran away for the fear of their life

The security in the company tried their best to catch the gunner

Rose walked towards them speaking to someone to send an ambulance

Louis moved closer when Kingsley weakly lean on Jocelyn who was feeling for him

She was still in shock,what the hell

He was placed in an ambulance when he start to receive treatment

Jocelyn quickly followed Louis following the ambulance with his car

Nobody spoke to each other, there was a lot in there mind

Jocelyn was deeply worried,her phone rang out loud but that was the least of her concern

A text came from Daisy

★Are you okay,your boss got shot,the news is going viral with different comments rolling in,don't be bothered about it★Daisy text her

She read the text but didn't reply back

They reached the hospital where Kingsley was given adequate treatment

Mr and Mrs Wealth join them,Brittany, Kingston and Josh later joined them

"How is he now?" Jocelyn and the others asked Ronnie

"He's okay,you can go and see him" he replied

"Thank God" Jocelyn breath in relieve

She rushed inside,she didn't know when she hugged him,he was seated on the bed,with one of his arm bandage

He used his second hand to hug her

"It's okay" He said rubbing her back

"Don't you ever do that next time" She said

"Can't promise you that" He said

Jocelyn stared at him before shaking her head

"I won't even let that happen" Mr Wealth said angrily

"Do you offend someone?" Kingston asked Jocelyn

"No,I was surprised that someone was even trying to attack me" She said

"Have ordered for a new recruitment bodyguards" Mr Wealth said

"Where is Galvin?" Kingsley asked

"Here I am" Galvin said entering the ward with Jaxon behind him

"Jocelyn" Jaxon called

"Jaxon" she called jumping on him hugging him tight

"You're here baby boo" Jocelyn said kissing his cheek

Kingsley frown immediately

"How can she jump on him like that kissing his cheek with what only him should have access to" he thought

"Hmmm" Mrs Wealth cleared her throat

This action make Jocelyn to stand on her fit

"You're back" Jocelyn said hugging him once again

Kingsley hit his arm which was shot on the wall beside him,this made the wound to open again and start to bleed

He wince out loud this make Jocelyn to rush back to him

"You're bleeding" She said worriedly

When she wanted to touch the arm,he shifted it away from her,owning his face

"You can go and hug him more tightly" he said jealously

Jocelyn looked at him confusedly

"Let me go and get Ronnie" She said

"Ouch!,am in pain" Kingsley faked a cry

"Jaxon can you please help me to call Ronnie since you know his office" she said

"Sure" Jaxon faked a smile at her

He glared at Kingsley who glared back in return

"Love triangle" Mr Wealth smile

"You can come to me if you need more love tips son" Mr Wealth said

"You mean old fashion love tips" he mocked

"Am hurt" Mr Wealth said dramatically

"Jocelyn are you married?" Jaxon asked

"Because Galvin keep calling you his sister In-law" Jaxon replied

"She's engaged to me" Kingsley quickly said

"Why am I not seeing any ring on her fingers?" Jaxon asked

"She forget to wear it" Kingsley glared

"What about you?" Jaxon asked

"It's with me" Kingsley said bringing out a ring from his pocket

This got everyone wondering why he was going around with a ring

"Let's see outside brother" Ronnie said

"OK" Jaxon said glaring at Kingsley

"Go and see him" Kingsley urged him

"What do you want?" Jaxon asked

"Is that how to greet someone?" Ronnie asked

"Sorry,but why did you call me here?" He asked

"Am talking to you now as both Jocelyn brother and your brother, kill your feelings for her,she's already on love with Kingsley" Ronnie said

"Are they married?, has he confess to her?,has she confess to him ?"he questioned

"She's engaged to him with mother full support" Ronnie said

"Then I will retrieve her heart from him and make her fall for me,then go for mother's blessing" Jaxon said

"Why can't you just let go?" Ronnie asked frustrated

"The way you let Daisy go?" He replied

"Fine,but don't hurt anyone" He said

"You of all people should know that I can't hurt anyone" Jaxon said

"I know but people can be easily manipulated when it comes to love" Ronnie said

"Am hungry" Kingsley said

He was stuck here with him because his crazy fans her out there wanting to see him and know his health status, they have been bringing in different flowers,food,get well soon letters and so on

"I can't eat without help,my right arm was shot remember"Kingsley said looking at Jocelyn

"Haaah" Jocelyn said after taking a spoonful of rice from the plate

"Add more meat" He said

"What the fuck!!" Louis exclaimed

"What happened?" Kingsley asked worriedly

"The investors are removing their shares" Louis said

"Why?,how?" Kingsley asked

"I don't know,wait they are going to invest in Jasmine company, he just released the product you were working on before getting shot" Louis said

"What are you waiting for,let's go" Kingsley said wanting to stand up

"You can't go anywhere" Jocelyn said

"Why company is about to go down,I can't just seat and watch my sweat going drained "he said

"At the same time you can't stressed the hand" Jocelyn said

"Stressing my hand is better than losing my source of income,it's my hard earn company the one I build myself not the one I inherited from my parents and it's the most prospering one,I can't just seat and watch" he shouted

"Calm down okay,I will go and make sure everything is okay" she said

"Can you,I mean have you ever worked in a company?,do you have the idea?" He asked

"Yes,I graduated with a first class degree certificate in business administration" she said

Everyone was staring at them,Hannah was burning in jealousy, Marianna was fuming

The students murmured

"As mother's son you should learn this lesson, mother said we shouldn't open door to any stranger even if the person is someone we know that no body should be trusted,what if he's a kidnapper or a person that sell children" Mandy said

Mandy grab the rolling stick,Dylan also grab the frying pan

They go after Mandy

Immediately Yolanda opened the door and the man comes in

Dylan jumped up hitting the frying pan on the man's head while Mandy hit the mans Buttock hard with the rolling stick

"What have you done?he's my ex husband" Yolanda muttered when Mr Campbell fall down unconscious

"As we all know that Mr Wealth got shot today he won't be able to come here but I will stand in for him" She's said

"I know much, I know for the fat that you guys are been deceived by Mr Romero Jasmine to remove your shares and you have been fooled because the product he launched was not his but Mr Wealth product,this her evidence" she said pressing a remote

A video display how a man came into Kingsley office immediately he run out of the office,

"And where was his secretary when this happened?" A man asked

"Her boss was shot did you expect her to seat comfortably at her office?" She asked the man back

"Am hereby promising you to give me two days time,I will come up with a good product more lucrative than what was stole from our company and it will catch the people attention" She said

"How can we trust your words" A man asked

"By giving me two days,we both know two days to come up with something lucrative is a difficult challenge but am ready to take it" She said professionally

"Also the cloth that your wife wanted you to get that was my design you can also count on that" she said

Her eyes shows how much she want their positive reply

She has to do this,for Kingsley, he had already help her by using his body as a shield to protect her and she has to do the same,for him her lover!

"I am in,I love your courage" A man said standing up

One after the other they started giving in

"I won't let you down" she said smiling at them

"You really did it, they've withdraw their shares from Jasmine company now back to us" Louis said

"Of course they have to,they've been partnering with Kingsley for about twelve years they know what they benefit from this company" she said

"But how will you get a product done within two days" Rose asked worriedly

"Don't worry,that's why I have to start now" She said

"And I will also join you" A voice said
