CHAPTER 11 (EVIDENCE 4)

At a dead end for almost a month now, tomorrow will be 26th again, I will get back to where it always happened, this time I will believe in blind faith, my guts telling me the date and time is not a coincidence, but all connected.

 At midnight I arrived to where it happened, as I try to find somewhere to hide while I wait, I was not alone as would think, Maria, the journalist was here, she never gave up I supposed.

 "I told you to back-off" I told her, she then replied "I started to search the story, I will finish what I started", I warned her about it a month ago, guess she didn't listen to me.

 We argued, and stopped as we soon heard footsteps on the river, a young man is heading to the forest, I look at the time, 3:30, I rushed to follow the young man quietly and a distance from him, so did Maria followed me.

 I'm not gonna stop her, the record on her video cam, I could use it as evidence, we followed the young man as head to the forest, until we stopped after what my eyes cannot believe what it saw.

 A very bright light, impossible, deep in the forest? I've scoured this forest, I haven't seen like this in the past. I told Maria not to follow me as I rush to the light to save the young man, but I can't go forward, as I cannot see where is the young man, add to that, the light is very bright, like staring at the sun, then I heard a sound of someone running.

 I saw a young man rushing forward coming out from the bright light, someone is chasing him, "We gotta get out of here" the young man said, I asked why, "It's coming, we gotta go before it finds us", he said.

 I chased him, he was desperate, he is running as fast as he could, I know I'm not the only one chasing him, I can hear footsteps of another man running, I didn't look back as I was focused on chasing the young man infront of me.

 I can see the end of the of the forest, the chasing kept on going, until we reached the river, the young man stopped and looked back, I can also see Maria standing at his back, shocked.

 Something is wrong, I looked back and I saw someone, he looked like me, the same dress, the same haircut, standing at the entrance to the forest, however he was different, It's eyes were black, he looks at us angry, then he head back from where he came from.

 "This is not real, this not real", I'm telling to myself nervous, "It is as that man told me, once I get out of the forest it wont chase us" said by the young man, I asked how sure he is, he told me that that the one who helped him told him those things cannot get out the forest that something is stopping them from getting out of that forest, I asked who he is and told me his name is David Mascano.
