Chapter 25 - Siren POV

Azur Lane's main base was filled with thick white smoke. The spreading smoke swallowed the shape of the island perfectly. From behind the thick smoke, a small figure like torpedo flying high and penetrated the thick smoke then circled the island to observe the situation.

 It was the Hunter Killer Drone used by the USS Seawolf to see the surrounding conditions. The Hunter Kill Drone pick up a small object flew in a circular formation that surrounded the island.

 "Tsk! Seawolf!" said the mysterious girl from behind the dark ocean.

 Slowly... The mysterious girl opened her blue-white eyes and her stinging tentacle body crawled to the surface of the water.

 Splaaaash...

 The girl's body covered in white tentacles began to enlarge and released a siren weapon in the form of a light cruiser cannon. The siren equipment she was wearing emitted mysterious blue-white waves and created random radio waves that damaged the surrounding communication channels.

 "You know, it's useless to me."

 "H-Huh?!"

 The hidden siren communication channel detected an unknown intruder joining the siren communication network.

 The mysterious girl was very surprised after hearing the voice. A deep voice that gave terror with every word.

 The fragments of the torpedo attack and the pressure of the exploding seawater destroyed some of the mysterious girl's tentacles and her siren equipment.

 "Seawolf!!" her facial expression became panicked after her tentacles and siren weapons were damaged. A light blue light began to shine on her body and repair the damage to her body. The destroyed tentacles and siren equipment slowly grew back on her body.

 Suddenly, the girl's siren communication channel was cut off. The mysterious figure gave a small signal with his index finger on his lips to remain silent.

 "Ssssstttt... I have kept my word."

 "Now, it's time to return to the Azur Lane main base."

 "Before that, please don't be surprised by what I will do in the future."

 The mysterious figure took out a small gun from his military uniform and shot the girl in the head.

 There was no sound of gunfire.

 There was only the sound of the calm wind and the sound of small waves on the open sea.

 The gun contained a tranquilizer needle that made the siren girl feel drowsy and fall into a deep sleep. The mysterious child figure lifted her body and dived into the ocean towards the submarine that was leaning on the mud floor.

 The mysterious figure slowly entered the emergency hatch of his submarine as an entrance.

 "Welcome back, Master."

 "I'm back, Sofia."

 "Is the siren child okay?"

 "Yes, if only the ship girls didn't care about the siren's form. This little siren child might have drowned in the cold ocean. But, here I am. Saving the siren who should have been their enemy."
