Story 3 Kitsune in Teyvat Chapter 7

After playing with the kids for a bit I finally managed to escape from the with a loud huff and was almost panting as I collapsed next to Lumine and Kazuha with Paimon floating above my form that collapsed on a table and became a pile of tails as I curled up.

"So... Kurama, why are you following us back to Liyue?" Paimon asked.

I shrugged and retorted flatly. "Currently running away from my dommy mommy shogun and the insane Fatui harbinger that wants to do bad things to me like gaslighting me to join the Fatui through her crazy orphanage that churns out all the enhanced and twisted Fatui agents."

Paimon and Lumine shared a look of almost disbelief but I continued. "In any case, it's less of me following you to Liyue and more just using the Crux to get to Liyue, so I can get to Mondstadt to pick up the legendary terrorist to help me on my next quest."

Lumine facepalmed and then muttered. "So your time control abilities give you some form foresight... What do you want with Klee dammit?" She questioned wryly and I looked at her with a soul-deep gaze.

And I finally answered after a moment of thought. "All Archons are poor, they are out of touch, and as of late, all the nations are in trouble in various amounts... Anyway, I want Klee's help to make some bombs to free the Dendro Archon Nahida who she is distantly related to, from her prison the Academia have her within." I explained and Lumine scowled as she looked to Paimon and drawled.

"How do I know we would have gotten pulled into this?" She said wryly and I couldn't help but snicker at Paimon's response.

"Paimon thinks you are a walking magnet for trouble Lumine... Anyway, we are supposed to head over to Sumeru after helping in this big commission to explore the depths of the Chasm! So maybe Kurama can lead us around Sumeru?" Paimon muttered and Kazuha actually chuckled making me look over to him as he smiled wanely.

"It's good that you guys are already making plans, Also Kurama was it? How far does your future sensing reach or could you tell me my fortune, I am rather curious?"

I shrugged and looked at him before stating flatly. "You are going to get a new sword that looks like a weird umbrella sword that looks cursed but it isn't... It will lick your hand at times while wielding it though."

Kazuha blinked and both girls went quiet as he paused before shaking his head with a wry smile crossing his face as he spoke with acceptance. "I see... Then I will look forward to that coming to be."

Then Paimon danced in the air as she called out loudly. "Oooh! Do Paimon next! What is my fortune!" She called out and I rolled my eyes and stated with zero care.

"You are going to eat, eat more, and then eat more." Then I looked to Lumine and I couldn't help my kitsune mischievous nature rising up as I chuckled with my tails unfurling around me as I sat up and said more seriously. "Then do you care to hear your own prophesy Lumine, the foreign star under this canopy of lies?"

Lumine's eyes tightened on mine and she chewed on her words before nodding and I couldn't help a giggle escape me as I began to speak. "Unlike a certain poor astrologist I do not read your future by reading your fate in the star's so you actually are possible for me to get a read on... In any case, you will be seeing your brother again soon, whether it be in friendship, in battle to stop one of his mad plans, or even finding him reliving his old tryst with Dainsleif... I will leave that to you to find out haha!" I burst into laughter at Lumine's face went ruddy red at my insulation and then pale as my words fully registered within her mind.

Then my laughter became choked as she whispered. "Oh, dear gods... How could I have not known, his hair is longer and better-taken care of than mine. And he literally wore a midriff open outfit."

Whelp, the abyss prince may very well attempt to kill me for making his sister think he is gay. But honestly, worth it.

I played my part on the Crux, keeping the younger members well entertained with harmless fox magic cantrips and likewise messing with Lumine and Paimon with references to their future that made them truly smile as we landed at Liyue and they of so gladly wished me the greatest of luck getting to Mondstadt.

"Now how do I get to Mondstadt from here in Liyue?" I muttered as I took in the busy port and wondered if I should try to hitch a ride on the barges that went up the major river that went through most of the Liyue and up to Mondstadt before shaking my head as a week at sea was more than enough time on a damned boat.

I moved deeper into the city keeping myself out of the view of the civilians beyond being a streak of white fluff as I made my way to the governmental section of Liyue and I looked up at the huge flying castle that was the Jade Chamber as I rested atop one of Liyue's traditional style buildings.

"Could I get Ganyu to fly me there? In her Qilin or Adepti form?" I mused before shrugging and I changed back into my human form with my back popping at finally being back into my natural form after being in my kitsune form for a good week. I was about to look over my options before I felt an iron claw of a hand land on my shoulder from behind me.

I woodenly looked behind me and froze as my face was at hip height of my target and I woodenly look up higher and just visibly past her massive tits clad in a body glove and a weird hand towel thing laying over them. Was a beautiful face and cool eyes staring down at me while silverish white hair framed her head.

"Uhh hi?" I said feeling a flush enter my cheeks and I cursed my hormones as Shenhe was... Yeah, she was Shenhe.

"You mentioned my fellow apprentice... What did you mean by having her give you a ride?" She demanded and I folded like a deck of cards as I poked my fingers together and muttered about wanting to get to Mondstadt quickly.

Then that hand that was clenched on my shoulder let go and I blinked as her hand gently pinched my chin and made me look back up to her face and I realized she had a small blush as she muttered to herself. "Is this what Lisa meant by a cutie?"

'Oh-Oh... I think I am going to get Ara Ara'd.' I thought blankly as Shenhe pattted my head and she said seriously. "Alright, you are now my cutie, Master told me to go on a pilgrimage to find myself and making sure you don't get gobbled up by a monster will be a good test of both my martial strength and mental strength." She said as though she came up with some kind of grand plan.

'Being too damned cute as a kitsune is sometimes a major issue.' I thought blankly as my tails intertwined around her form as she pulled me by my hand towards the gate of Liyue and into the wilds outside the city.
