Story 3 Kitsune in Teyvat Chapter 10

Fischl who was still carrying me, soon came across my next target in my design of terrorism to free the one true best goddess of Teyvat. "Klee there you are!" Fishcl called out dramatically as we came across the Spark Knight Klee.

Klee whirled around and her eyes widened in child-like glee seeing Fischl holding my adorable fluffy form. "Fischl! Did you get a new familiar!?" She questioned excitedly.

I coughed and I hopped out of Fischl's arms unaware of her brief pout as I quickly transformed into my human form with my large nine tails poofing out behind me. "No, Lady Spark Knight, but we wish to recruit you for a grand quest in order to save a goddess who has been imprisoned!"

Klee's face went to utter joy as she walked over and without even agreeing to my request or even asking me... She began touching my tails!

"It's so fluffy, I am going to die!" Klee yelled while fluffing my tails and my lips twitched seeing the amount of attention we were drawing as I obviously was an oddity to say nothing of how Klee and Fischl were basically local celebrities. 

With Fischl's help we were able to get Klee to follow us to a bench and I sat next to Klee to allow her to fluff my tails as we began to speak about what I wanted to do. "Hello, Spark Knight Klee. My name is Kurama, I am the adopted son of the Raiden Shogun, and I have come here to Mondstadt to recruit for a noble quest to free the Dendro Archon who has been imprisoned for the last five hundred years."

But before Klee could respond Oz actually cut in with a rather reasonable point. "Lord Kurama I have a question... Why did you come to Mondstadt rather than recruit from Innazuma's pool of heroes? To say nothing of recruiting from the vision wielders of Sumeru to free their goddess?"

I sighed and this was easy to speak of as I shook my head. "Lord Oz, guardian of the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, I face many similar issues as your regent... My land, my very home is filled with internal strife due to the Civil War with Watasumi Island, and the terrible black-hearted Fatui putting a bounty upon my life has forced my goddess mother to send me abroad so I cannot chance recruiting a traitor when the Fatui will also be hunting me."

All three of them shared a look and after they absorbed my words I finished off with. "And as for why I haven't gone directly to recruit the aid of Sumeru vision wielders... They haven't checked in on their goddess for five hundred years." I shook my head with my ears going down as I finished softly. "Why would they trust me, and actually bother to check?"

A sniffle broke out and Klee with almost tears in her eyes spoke out. "Thats just sooo sad! Like are why are they being mean to the dendro goddess?" She asked and I took a breath and began speaking of Kusanali.

"With Lord Rhukadavatta's death during the years of darkness... She was basically reincarnated as the lesser Lord Kusanali or her common name of Nahida. And when the Sages of Sumuru realized their wise and powerful goddess was so weak and no longer wise after becoming a child." I paused and grimaced as the memory of Nahida's fate now that I was here in Teyvat...

And actually was sealed away for literal centuries in a stupor, I couldn't let another person face such a fate as I did. "Nahida who is of the same bloodline as you Klee in having elf ears. Has been put into a cell of eternal darkness and has been sleeping only able to touch upon her citizens dreams to communicate with others." 

Fischl and Klee shared a look before nodding as Fischl laid her hand across her chest and said strongly. "I will go with you to Sumeru then. Even better, with Lisa's help from the Knight's of Favonius, we can use one of her magical tools to get to Sumeru quicker!"

'Uh-oh... Another electro, dommy-mommy figure.' I thought with my lips twitching as Klee clapped her hands in excitement. "Yeah! Lisa can help a lot I bet! Plus she studied in Sumeru and if we ask, I know she will help us!"

So with both Klee and Fischl determined to get Lisa's help, I decided that it was a fine idea but before we got up a loud cracking noise rang out along and I stiffened as an iron claw of a hand landed on my shoulder while Klee and Fischl glowed with elemental power as they readied for battle. 

"You left an illusion behind... Why?" 

I didn't show fear. That would only make it worse. My tails intertwined with Shenhe's arm as I l looked up with a wide smile as I spoke excitedly. "Shenhe! I found more friends to help on the quest!"

Shenhe being an utter sweetheart and having literally zero social skills had zero clue I was utterly bullshitting as my tails made swift work of her irritation.

"Well let's go meet this Lisa to see if she can teleport us to Sumeru or something!" I announced excitedly while idly wondering how this was going to go.

'To think, I basically ran away from home being Japan, jumped on a ship to basically Germany, and now plan on grabbing a ride to India all in order to meet someone I wanted to boop on their snoot for being the best Archon in Teyvat.'
