Story 13 Paladin of Shadows Chapter 5

Alpha had left me alone after a moment of probably staring at my form after giving her ass a slap along with a kiss to the cheek. And my solitude was great... It let me process things better and acknowledge how this was my new life and how things were going to be for now on.

And if I let out a couple of manly screams into the pillow then that was just my choice.

But as I was relaxing and about to get some sleep I shivered as a cool breeze went over my form under the thin blankets of the bed making me grumble as I rolled onto my sides so I could huddle up for warmth. But it wasn't enough...

Then as though in answer to my thoughts, underneath the blankets became warmer, and just as I was getting ready to finally go to sleep I stiffened as an arm wrapped around my chest in the darkness that even my now enhanced Falna blessed sight couldn't pierce.

"Uhhhh... Is that you Delta?" I asked with some fear as I was just holding in the desire to roll out of the bed screaming.

Instead a grumpy huff hit my neck as a bland voice retorted now. "No, it's Zeta. The stupid dog has a literal leash around her so she cannot escape Alpha's grasp."

And in seemingly retaliation a I felt Zeta lightly nip on my neck making me stiffen up before she hummed and licked where she bit me and then she buried her nose into neck..With a deep loud purr escaping her form as she held onto my form and relaxed against me with her soft chest pressing against my back.

'Oh god... She is going to be a cat who wanders around the bed all night, I can feel it already.' I thought with despair before I grunted out. "Let me lay on my back so we are more comfortable." 

For a long moment I thought she was going to ignore me but with a cat-like hiss of annoyance which fit her so well she 'graciously' allowed me to lay on my back and before waiting for me to get comfortable myself I felt her throw a leg over my waist and her head burrowing back into my neck while I just wrapped an arm around her waist as I tried to go to sleep with the feeling of a stack blond laying atop me.

And it didn't help... Knowing that she was a beastkin, and like all beastkin, they didn't wear underwear due to hating the feeling.

Waking up was as suspected a noise affair as the door of my room was thrown open loudly with Beta shouting out. "Zeta! You cheating cheat! Alpha made everyone swear not to leave the room to sleep with him!"

And in response as my tired eyes took in the already dressed form of Beta with her while hair done up nicely already surprisingly. My face twitched even with my brain just waking up from the bullshit that Zeta spat out shamelessly.

"Yeah... I didn't leave through the door, I went through the window and it's not my fault that the stupid dog snores loud enough to hide the sounds of our window and Jake's window opening up... Just think of it as making sure he survived as none of you could hear anything in this room anyway." 

I looked over and Zeta had a bored look on her face, but there was no hiding the smug aura that surrounded her. As she was quite literally. The cat who caught the canary as it were.

And Beta got that too as I saw her dramatically point at the smug Zeta who just pushed herself deeper into my arms as we had rolled over in our sleep to where we were laying facing the other with the cat beastkin hugging my bare chest and... Having apparently left some small love bites across my chest as there were kiss sized little splotches across my chest.

Knowing having Delta and the others running into here wouldn't do us any favors especially as literally all the money we had was basically at Freya's mercy and we couldn't afford a massive repair bill due to Zeta and Delta getting into a fight after seeing the cat girl in my bed. I gave Zeta a good poke and grunted out with my still waking-up voice.

"Alright. Time to get up, we need to get going to Orario." I said firmly and I felt Zeta's arms tighten around me for a long second before with a sigh she rolled over to the side and then with her body only covered in a thin robe she began putting on some clothes the glaring Beta handed over while I put on my previous outfit.

Zeta and Beta then left the room allowing me to get dressed and go out to face the music... Or Zeta was getting the complete dressing down as I could hear the yelling of several voices from behind the girls front door and as I came out of the room they had rented just for me. I looked to the side and was greeted by a smile as Freya strode out from her room fully dressed with a scarf or something wrapped around her head and neck.

'Probably to block out some of her natural Charm.' I thought seeing the scarf but either way Freya gently spoke up with her voice tickling my ears as she easily glided into taking my arm into her own. "Well my 'Odr' Let us break our fast and get some snacks to tide over the others while Alpha gets a carriage for us."
