Chapter Nine

Sigh. I actually slept for hours without noticing I was late for class.

I got dressed.

Clara wasn't in the room. I took my things and headed for class.

"I want you all to write an article about any Editor in the states. This task is pretty simple, I know its impromptu but you are not leaving my class without turning it in so write!" The proffesor said.

I didn't think too much about writing about any editor. My mom was an editor, why can't I write about her?

I opened a new file and started writing about the chief editor at flaunt magazine "Laura Chambers".

In the meantime. At Axel's class.

Sitting with his head up high and shoulders in the clouds, wearing a black top with a black jacket, Axel paid attention to the lectures going on.

Trying not to loose his concentration due to people all around him.

"I'm so exhausted" Clara said to Axel.

He didn't respond.

"Come on Martinez, I said I'm exhausted" Clara said again.

"Pay attention Clara and leave me alone" he replied.

"Whatever, still with Trina today?" She asked.

"Yeah" he replied.

"Cool. After this class, I'm going back to my dorm to have a nice sleep" she said.

"Why didn't you sleep?" Axel asked.

"I prefer not to say" she replied.

"I honestly can't wait for this class to be over" she nagged.

At August's class.

August definitely wasn't paying attention to lectures.

"If you give me your number, I could you know, text you and all till we get married" August said while wooing a freshman during lectures.

Despite him coming out to me that he was gay, he still played around with girls.

While the freshman was imputing her phone number into August's phone, August turned his head to his right side and paused.

A really good looking boy sat within his peers.

August wondered why he never noticed him.

August kept staring at him. "Here you go" the freshman handed him his phone, bringing him out of that state.

The only thing on August's mind at the moment was that person his eyes met.

"Great, see you all next week" his professor uttered.

August packed his things and headed towards the exit with his eyes glued on that boy.

"Is that a Jack Harlow merch?" August asked the boy.

"Yeah, got it during the promo time, you listen to Jack Harlow?" The boy said.

"Who doesn't!? That boy spits fact! Bro" August replied.

They walked out of class and were now standing in the hallway.

"I'm Cameron" the boy introduced, shaking hands with August.

"August" August replied.

"See you around" Cameron said, walking away.

August couldn't help but smile at the little conversation he had with Cameron.

Although he doesn't listen to Jack Harlow, he lied just to have that conversation.

He brought out his phone and texted me "just met the love of my life, really hope he's into boys:( ".

At my lecture hall.

My class was over, I got a notification and checked my phone to see August's text.

I smiled at it. Typical August.

It's so weird that my lecture hall was 5 meters away from Axel's. I didn't want to seem awkward or make him feel as if I was stalking him.

Which I usually do.

I walked past his hall.

1:45pm.

I sent a text to August, telling him to meet me at the usual.

Clara headed back to our dorm room.

Axel got a text from Trina. "On my way to the parking lot, see you in 2". Axel walked to his car and waited for Trina.

"Hey" Trina yelled. "For God's sake" Axel said to himself.

She walked to the car, "so I'm early" she said, entering the car. "You couldn't even be a gentleman" she said.

Trust Axel not to respond.

He drove silently while Trina blabbered continuously.

"Are we here?" She uttered. Axel came out of the car and walked towards the entrance. Trina walked behind him.

"Welcome" the attendant said.

"A nice booth please" Trina requested.

"Here" the attendant showed them a dim nice booth.

"Isn't this cozy?" Trina asked, removing her jacket.

"It is" Axel replied.

"Hi, welcome, what can I get you?" The attendant asked.

They opened the menu, read it and dropped it down.

"I would have a smoothie for now, what about you?" She asked facing Axel.

"I'll take a milkshake" Axel said.

"Alright, coming right up" the attendant said walking away.

Trina began talking while Axel stared at her. Confused.

At the Café.

I walked in, looking for August.

"I'm right behind you Stella" August uttered.

We sat down.

"Before we take anything, you got my text right?" August asked.

"Yes!" I said.

"It was the best moment of my life" August said.

Best moment? Come on August.

"What exactly did you say to him" I asked.

"Nothing actually but trust me, I think we sort of had a connection" he replied.

"You had a connection? What's his name?" I asked.

"Cameron" he replied.

"Wow" I uttered.

"I know right!" August said happily.

At Axel's date.

Axel got really tired of Trina's continuous rants, "I need to use the bathroom" he said.

Trina helped herself to the meal placed in front of her.

At the bathroom, Axel washed his face with water before walking back to the booth.

Trina met Axel in their first year and ever since, she has always wanted him.

"You got back early" she said. "Yeah" Axel replied, eating some fries.

"So, don't you want to know anything about me?" She asked. "Why would I want to know anything about you?" Axel replied.

Oh lord, here we go again.

"I really don't understand why you're so uptight Axel, you should try to be nice" she said.

This bitch don't know nothing.

"I'm not being uptight Trina, I asked a question" he replied.

"Let's just forget about it, since this is our first date" she said while Axel smirked.

"Why do you follow me around?" He asked her.

"Follow you?" She said.

"Don't reply my question with another question" he replied.

So he doesn't tolerate the things he does? Oh please.

"I follow you around because I like you, I want us to be more than friends Axel" she uttered.

He stopped eating and faced her.

Without saying a word,he dropped some money on the table, got up and walked to the exit.

"Where are you going?" Trina asked.

"Axel" she called out. She walked towards him and held his hand.

She instantly reached for a kiss as Axel stood there in a state of shock.

He pushed her away.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" He said angrily.

"I said I wanted us to be more than friends, i like you Axel" she said.

"You worthless and shameless piece of shit, don't you ever mention my name" he replied.

"If you don't go out with me, I'll tell everyone you made advances towards me" she uttered.

She truly is a shameless piece of shit.

"I don't give a fuck what people think or what they will say,stay away from me you dirty slut" he said, walking towards his car.

He turned on the engine.

"Axel" she called out crying.

He drove away.

This should be fun.
