Chapter #1

In a world where cultivators , mythical creatures roam free exist one rule and that is "strong dominate the weak", exist a small village with population barely reaching 100 lives a small boy with his parents, his name is Vlad and he was 12 years old with white hair and brown eyes. the villagers called him "Little Saint" because of his kindness , friendliness towards everyone in his village. our dear Vlad likes to help people with their jobs and whenever he has free time he always likes to play with other kids and have fun. he also has loving parents mom named Lydia and father named Alfred, they are normal villagers like everyone else. village also has chief Philip. one beautiful day when the sun was shining and no clouds were in the sky a calamity struck , an unknown disease started affecting people out of no where, people started coughing hard sometimes coughing up blood, fevers reaching 39 Celsius , the disease was spreading very fast, to counter the disease villagers started locking themselves up in their homes and not coming out. Chief immediately started to research the ways to counter and cure the infected but the cure was nowhere to be found because there was no information about the disease, it was like the disease was newly created, chief Philip realized that the disease was incurable with what they had, so chief started to research the nearest hospital or something that would help them to cure the disease. after thinking for quite a while he decided to venture to the nearest city to hire a medicine disciple or an elder to come and cure the disease. Philip packed the essentials and announced his departure. villagers realized why he departed and locked themselves even harder. after 2 days of Philip's departure Vlad and his parents were sitting , dining and talking about the disease.

Lydia said "the disease is getting out of hand we don't have a way to cure it and we don't even know what caused it!" said with a little bit of tone raised.

Alfred replied "I know honey, but that's why our chief departed to the nearest city so he can hire an expert in the medicine field to come, diagnose and cure this damned disease, we should be thankful that no one has died yet and their just have cough and very high body temperature."

While the two adults were talking Vlad was sitting quietly , eating and listening to his parents talking about the disease, while the Lydia and Alfred were talking Vlad intervened their conversation and said...

"Is this disease so bad that we had to lock ourselves up?"

the parents responded "It's not that bad sweetheart, the disease will be cured so fast and you won't even notice it infecting anyone." said Alfred and Lydia with a sweet tone.

Vlad responded "Okay then, lets continue eating before the food gets cold."

while they continued to eat Vlad was thinking "why are they treating me like I am 9, I am 12 years old they should tell me about it, Hmph" while he was angry at them for treating him like a child, in reality he didn't even mind about it in fact he liked when his parents talked with him in a sweet, chill tone.

After they ate everyone went to sleep, before Vlad went to sleep he prayed "I hope this disease will be gone soon."

While all the villagers were sleeping, Philip was still traveling in midnight in hopes of arriving in the city so that he would find the expert faster for his villagers.

After travelling for 4 days he finally arrived at the "Silver City". he was really happy that he had arrived in the city. while traveling in the Silver City with kind of baggy eyes from sleeping so little, he always wondered why the city was called "Silver City", curiosity got the best of himself and stopped the stranger to ask the question.

"Excuse me kind sir, a thousand apologies but can you tell me why this city is called "Silver City"?"

the citizen immediately realized that it must be old man's first time visiting this city so he answered energetically..

"this must be your first time visiting this place old man, it's called Silver City because when the City was first founded it had such a good economic that every building had at least one silver brick in the middle of all the other building materials. of course it was all in the past and now if someone did that it would be stolen so fast they wouldn't even realize what happened."

Philip replied in awe such a good economic wouldn't all its citizens be extremely rich?, he thought to himself, then he thanked the kind stranger and headed to the building he saw that was called "Hospital". he walked in and saw a receptionist which was a male. Philip asked "Hello can I request a doctor to cure a disease in my village?" receptionist responded that it would cost 1 gold to hire an expert, 10 silver to hire a normal doctor and 1 silver to hire a newly appointed doctor. when the receptionist asked where the infected were located, Philip said the village was 400 km away, when the receptionist heard how far was the village he answered "Sir Our doctors don't travel as they are needed in our hospital 24/7 however if you really want it you can hire an elder or a disciple of Golden Dragon sect's Medicine Branch." Philip thanked the receptionist and headed to Golden Dragon sect with the help of the map receptionist gave to him. after some tiring distance he finally arrived at the gates of the Golden Dragon sect, the sect's gate looked majestic with carvings of a beautiful dragon with red eyes it looked like it was staring into your soul, philip was terrified for a second but nevertheless he continued onward. before he entered the gate two disciples guarding the gate stopped him and asked

"State your intentions old man." one of the disciples asked.

Philip answered "I need to hire a medicine expert for my village sir."

When the disciples heard the answer they nodded and they let him in. after he entered the gate he was amazed for a second how large was the sect, with ponds , sakura trees and buildings as tall as the eye can see. but when he remembered why he came here for he fastened his steps to the building that looked like medicine branch, he stopped a disciple that was wearing black and white cloth and asked "a thousand apologies to you sir but can you tell me how i can hire an expert to come to my village?". the disciple didn't even bothered to look to him and answered "50 gold to hire an elder of our sect , 1 gold to hire inner disciple and 20 silver to hire outer disciple." Philip was shocked by the prices but he still wanted to hire it even if it meant to give up all his possessions. when he looked at his bag he found out that he only had one gold. so he made a decision to hire an inner disciple of the sect. (one had to know that for one gold a normal mortal can live for a year with luxury and he will even have left over money after all of that.). Philip asked the outer disciple to lead him to an elder so that he can hire an inner disciple. after Philip followed the outer disciple and entered the medicine branch he saw countless ingredients , potions and scrolls containing what felt endless knowledge of medicine. and then he saw elder he was reading a scroll. the elder looked like he was in his seventies but nevertheless dominant, outer disciple bowed to the elder and introduced philip. elder looked to Philip with emotionless eyes , and asked "who do you want to hire mortal." Philip answered "an inner disciple, mr immortal."

The elder called one of his inner disciples and told him that this old man wanted to hire him, he felt happy that someone was going to hire him for when he looked at the old man his expression changed from happy to disgust but he still obliged. Philip gave the disciple one gold coin and told him the way to return back to his village. philip asked if the disciple had any way of transporting fast disciple answered "it will cost you 1 silver." philip gave 1 silver to the disciple and they went to the village with flying sword. after 1 day they finally reached the village, at first it almost looked like an abandoned village with no one but if they squint they eyes hard enough they could see people in their homes hiding. when they entered the village philip finally announced..

"Do Not Fear my villagers I have hired a medicine expert so that he can finally cure this damned disease once and for all".
