Why the Goblins Attacked

The workers were all startled by Arias’ shout. Could it be that there were still more goblins? They stood with their backs against each other as their eyes searched for a sign of the said beast. But no matter how hard they looked, they could not see even a glimpse of another goblin. The only goblins here were the dead ones scattering across the ground.

Since all of the goblins were dead, then why was Arias telling them not to come out of their hiding? But since Arias said there was a deadly threat, not one of them dared approach the area where Arias was. They cautiously retreated into their hiding places in an instant.

Arias, who was standing amidst the goblins’ corpses, looked toward the dense forest. He could sense from the beginning that there was something hiding inside that forest, quietly watching the fight. And it was also this ‘thing’ who was behind these goblins.
