Entered the final process

Mai stepped back with a bit of fear in her eyes, since she had never experienced things like that before and the guy looked back at her then he sighed and the woman was about to move but he stood in her way once against and her brows furrowed as she looked at him. 

She couldn't understand why he would want to stop her when that would only help them by avoiding certain problems and she glanced at the girl, who looked at her and she scoffed. 

The girl lowered her head and clenched her fists as the woman disappeared then reappeared beside her and she gasped. 

At the same time, the guy grabbed Mai by her hand, pulling her behind him and his eyes glowed brightly. 

"Don't get me on my nerves, I am being serious, I will kill you," He said and the woman felt a shiver up her spine as she stepped away from him and his eyes narrowed as he looked at her. 

"Why? Why are you doing this? This is unlike you, you know that I am right," She replied and he chuckled. 

"Right? Oh no, don't misunderstand, not because she id different makes you right, ever questioned if fate is wrong and all those other crap?" He asked and her brows furrowed as she looked at him. 

"Have you gone crazy? You cannot just do as you please here, this is not right, just let her disappear, don't cause problems for an ordinary human," She said and he grabbed her by her neck. 

"Hey, did you come here to cause trouble? No one but me has control here, you have no say in what I do, I will deal with my own problems, stay out of it, I am being serious who are we and who are they to decide, let them create their own fate," He replied as he glanced back at the girl. 

"I am sorry," She said. 

"Don't apologize, you didn't deserve that in the first place, you didn't do anything wrong, wanting to live is not wrong, the ones that are pulling the strings are, they must believe they can become gods," He replied. 

"Watch your mouth, you are going to cause unnecessary problems," The woman said. 

"I don't care, kid, keep walking if you want to do what you said you would, don't turn back and don't think about others, in the world that you are going to, do what you have to, even if you have to challenge the most powerful," He replied as he looked at her. 

"I am not going to let others decide my fate, I will do that on my own, I will not let anyone get in my way, I will keep my word," She said as she turned her back against them and he smirked as lightning flashed within the space and the woman flinched. 

"Can't you see she hasn't chosen a path?" The woman asked. 

"You don't have to in order to gain an ability and I don't think she has to nor needs to," He responded. 

"No, stop her, this is not right," She said as she was going to move but a barrier appeared in front of her, blocking her path from the girl's. 

"Mai, go through the door, clear your mind and don't look back, I wish you a good new life kid, I hope you achieve all that you want, don't let anyone get in your way, follow your hearth, you have my blessings," He said. 

The girl looked back at him then smiled before bowing her head and he chuckled as she opened the door then entered and the doo disappeared after she entered and he exhaled deeply. 

The girl found herself in a space filled with many different planets and creatures, it was as though she was seeing the entire universe right before her eyes and she closed her eyes and did exactly as he told her to. 

"This is against the natural order of things, stop it!" The woman shouted and at the same time. 

Another door opened in a bright flash and the girl's body transformed into a ball of light and was pulled into it and the door as well as the space disappeared completely. 

"It is done, she is going through the final process and is now in his care," He said and the barrier before the woman disappeared. 

"What have you done?" She asked and hs eyes narrowed as he looked at her. 

"What needs to be done," He responded as he walked past her. 

"What are you planning? You will get into trouble for this, you know what you just did is against the natural order of things, yet... Is everything you said earlier the reason?" She asked and he smirked. 

"I am not obligated to answering you, get lost," He responded and she chuckled. 

"I will report this," She said. 

"Oh? What proof do you have?" He asked and her eyes widened as she looked at him. 

"Do you have any to prove that I did something wrong and with which soul exactly? Her previous existence is no gone for she is in the process of getting a new life, good luck, I have other things to do, none of us can interfere now," He added. 

"You are not the same guy I know, you have crossed all the lines, let's see how that goes for you," She said then disappeared and he lowered his gaze as he looked at the orb in his hand then scoffed. 

'I hope you are able to survive your new life, I bet it won't be easy, after all there is at least one record of you before this, you are now going to the world that you truly belong to,' He thought. 

"The fun is about to began, let's see what's going to happen next," He mumbled with a smirk before disappearing into thin air. 

Mia knew that her next life might not be filled with pure happiness and there would be many challenges ahead of her, but she was willing to face them all head-on and create a life of her own with a few other things in mind as well, she had no intention of letting anyone decide her fate, not even the gods themselves. 

Little did she know, her life would be the most unpredictable, for the world she was about to enter was one which was filled with dark secrets, some connecting to her and where beings had great power.
