About to begin

Adiria sighed then stretched off as the master glanced at her and she looked back at him with her brows furrowed and he scoffed before looking away from her and the woman looked at Adiria with tears in her eyes and Sorang sighed before approaching her and she glanced at him.

"Young master..." She mumbled as he picked up the arrow with the note attached to it and Adiria looked at him as he examined it properly.

"This person tried warning you, seems like this may not be the first time, they know that your child is in danger or maybe it runs deeper than just your kid," He said and her eyes widened as she glanced back at her son.

"You know, not everyone gets the priviledge these days to learn to read or right, a lot of the ones that works in the palace can't, right?" He asked and Anyel nodded then a smirk appeared on his face and Adiria flinched when he saw that.

'This dude is on another level, not only with looks, ugh... I feel like throwing up, he can easily pass as a girl, what's with that look?' She wondered as he glanced at her then winked and she stepped back with her brows twitching and his brows furrowed.

'What the hell is her problem?' He wondered before exhaling deeply and shaking his head, for he had a lot more to deal with than just the matter at hand.

"Lady Anyel, is it okay for me to borrow her whlile investigating all of this?" He asked and Anyel glanced at her.

"She was going to start working for you as well, so it doesn't really matter to me as long as you treat her nice and stay within limits," She responded.

A blank expression appeared in the girl's eyes as she stared at them, knowing that by then, her opinion had no value for the two had already been decided.

"Good, now, it's time to get to work, you come with me, the rest of you keep an eye on the child, I have assigned two of my best men to guard you, let them be by your as well as the kid's side, no matter what, don't ask them to leave, this is important, the child you carry is the emperors heir and it will be announced now," He said.

"Really? He said that?" She asked as she looked at him and he sighed.

"Of course, why do you think all these preparations are happening? Just to discuss war fairs?" He asked and she lowered her gaze.

"I didn't think about all of that, he can't even come to see his own child, yet..." She mumbled as she gritted her teeth and Adiria placed her hand on her head.

The woman's eyes widened as she felt the warm touch and she looked up at the girl, who smiled at her, knowing that she was having a hard time, for despite having the emperor's child, she was not the one that will be standing by his side.

"This doesn't decide your value you know," She said and the woman smiled at her.

"Thank you, Adiria, you really are a nice person, I will be better," She replied and Adiria patted her on her shoulder then lifted the kid up, before placing him by his mother's side and she held onto his as if he was the greatest treasure to her.

"I will find out the truth....Why was I not meant to me? I am going to create my own faith.... I will not let any tell me I was not meant to be...." A voice echoed in Adiria's head and she grunted then held onto her head.

'The beginning of you entering an entirely different world will start now, things you never thought about will happen, a path filled with many mysteries and things that are beyond logical, the path you chose will now open, the time has come for you to start creating your own.... For it is about to begin.'

'What was that? Who was that? Am I losing it?' She wondered as she gritted her teeth, while exhaling deeply.

The young master turned towards her and his brows furrowed, when he noticed that she was behaving a little differently and he approached her then tapped her on her shoulder and she sighed.

'What is this? Are they memories or something? The voice...' She thought.

"I am fine, thanks, I will get to work," She responded as she walked past him and he glanced at the side of her face then she bowed her head and was about to leave but he grabbed onto her arm.

"Hey, I don't care who you may be, but I don't like when people touch me without my permission, it won't end well," She said and he chuckled.

"Do I really look like the type that cares? Where do you think you are going? You will be coming with me, we have work to do, don't forget, I am your master as well,' He replied and her eyes narrowed as she looked at him, before yanking her hand away and he flinched.

"Whatever..." She mumbled.

"Let's go, also, don't leave the palace with the child, it is too dangerous for him now, the kingdoms are in trouble as well, there has been many conflicts lately, some won't just sit by either, be careful," He said before leaving the chamber and she bowed, before following him.

"What's going on?" She asked as she tried to keep up with him and he looked at her.

"Oh? You really are the complicated type aren't you? This is what grabbed your interest?" He asked and she looked away sheepishly.

"It's a power struggle, sooner of later, a fight for pure power will start, they will avoid the emperor getting an heir," He said.

"So, they are the ones sending people to kill the child? Just because they want power?" She asked.

"Yeah, it's getting serious as well," He responded as he glanced at her than grabbed onto her arm, pulling her into his office and closing the door behind him.

"What's the meaning of this?" She asked.

"The one who write the warning, was it you?" He asked and her eyes narrowed as she stared at him, with no fear in her eyes.

'This girl is quite interesting,' He thought as she exhaled deeply, closing her eyes in the process.

Just when she was about to talk to him, they heard screams and a small explosion outside of his office and her eyes widened.

"Oh no," He said.

He rushed off and Adiria went after him, upon exiting the office, she gasped, stopping in her tracks as red beady eyes stared at her and she swallowed, for before her was something she was seeing for the first time in her entire life.
