Chapter 405: Letting Go
Sterl pondered for a moment, then stopped in his tracks. With a slight gesture of his finger, what had appeared to be a wall before him instantly transformed into a door.
He pulled open the grand door and stepped inside.
"Master!"
It was Sonis, her face lit up with surprise and joy.
She rushed toward him, tears glistening in the corners of her eyes.
Sterl, feeling unusually gentle today, lifted her into his arms and gently stroked her hair.
"You've worked hard. Thank you for coming all this way."
He took two steps forward and arrived at the bedside. Without needing any instruction from Sterl, the girl had already begun to unfasten his belt and leaned down.
With the slick sensation, legendary-level Sonis couldn't communicate through Divine Power, so she resorted to private messages to chat with Sterl.
