Sil and Krista, currently inside the Shadow Being's house, engaged each other in conversation, the young lady sharing her experience. Upon learning about Dezhong's position as the Canine Beast holder, Krista's mind was flooded with hundreds on hundreds of questions leading to her nearly breaking Dezhong's focus.
The young werewolf was stuck on increasing his Dark Matter, so much so that he paid no attention to those around him. Seeing this, Sil escorted Krista inside and listened to her story, starting from how she got the system all the way to her first encounter with the Feline Ancient Yelena, the equivalent of the Shadow King for Dezhong.
"Master Dezhong told me his side once," Sil spoke, "like you, the Shadow King charged and attacked him before residing within."
